it likely still will have some pc related issues that need ironing out.
Why, because they fucked the release for the first game? This isn't Infinity Ward; I doubt From Software will let themselves be embarrassed by a modder twice.
Unlike Infinity Ward though, this is their second time ever making a game for PC.
From Software has been making games since 1986 and the only reason they even made a PC version of Dark Souls is due to a fan petition that had a substantial amount of signatures. Since it sold well enough they decided to go on with making another pc version of Dark Souls, but I wouldn't hold my breath. Remember that Bethesda makes games for PC as well, and they are famous for having bugs and glitches that usually are fixed only by modders.
That's not the main reason I'm not getting the PC version though. I'm pretty sure it'll run ok, I mainly am getting the PS3 version for the figure and that I'm not sure my computer would be able to run it optimally.

Okay, then by that logic remember that Valve makes functional, award winning PC games, so your concerns ain't nothin' but a thang.
I'll fucking bet you that the PC version will work just as well, if not better (PC allows for 60 fps; it's guaranteed to be better) than any other. If you win, you get absolutely nothing except the ability to fully enjoy playing with your figurine, knowing it was worth it. If I win, I get to hold myself back from licking my monitor as it flawlessly plays DaS 2 with high res textures and 1080p at 60 fps. See you post-release.

It seems you're implying I want the game to be bad on pc.
To be frank, I'd prefer that the game be good on PC. I'm just a little cynical that From Soft can do as good a job as say the PC port for Metal Gear Rising. Also there are plenty of games on PC that are locked at an FPS lower than 60 for no particular reason.
But I digress. However the game is launched it doesn't matter that much. It's still the same game.

There were games that had theyr FPS locked lower than 60 fps. But you were able to remove the lock and not suffer from damages.
Latest FPS lock was made by EA and Need For Speed Rivals. According to TotalBiscuit, if you remove the lock on FPS, the game will speed up as well. SO that was kinda shit. Didnt help the fact that the game felt like I was eating sandpaper.
But anyway, I think the PC version won't be that bad since it was taken into account when developed. I only wish they tell Region Locking to go fuck itself with rusty nails. I wasnt able to buy the Dark Souls. GFWL is shit like that
Also Rbz, You are right about Warrior of Sunlight aka Knights of sun being best covenant. Sunlight Spear! I hope we get more Sun themed tools beside Spears and Sunligh blade.

No, I just strongly disagree with your assertion that, and I quote, "it likely still will have some pc related issues that need ironing out."

It wasn't that good. The game functioned, but the port reeked of consolization. It provided a meager amount of graphics options that applied themselves immediately. This means you'd have to wait for the game to change resolutions as you're scrolling through them. I actually have the game, so here's a screen of the options:
Spoiler:
Also, zangeki is broken, as setting it to high tanks even the fps of computers lugging around GTX Titans.

On canirunit, only thing I'm missing is a better video card, scored almost halfway past minimum and not even near recommended. Should I still buy this game anyway? I hope I don't lagfest on multiplayer. I ran DS almost full bar past recommended so I hope the lag difference isn't too much.

Honestly I don't mind playing on low graphics. FPS and gameplay is all that matters. I know I wouldn't enjoy the game to it's fullest extent but if all I wanted is to see a lot of eyecandy then I rather watch a play-through or a movie.

OR play a game that has more emphasis on aesthetics rather than graphics.

Depends to be honest.
To elaborate, it depends on whether you can tolerate low settings and what will probably be a subpar, unstable frame rate. Par being 60.
Pretty much.
I remembered when i had to play on low graphics on my PC with 64 MB Video and 256 MB of RAM.
I tolerated it to a point and after getting my second rig (3rd one atm), i do not want to turn back from High and Ultra.
