carry heroes are usually your late gamers who can still function well in early clashes, since they'll be dishing out pain like no tom. EX: Troll,Morphling,Razor,Sylla,Naix and many more

ah, so Brood IS a carry. Cool! (feels arrogantly proud)

To you guys, who do you think is the BEST carry in the game? I know for a fact that my Favorite Brood isn't it. I'm guessing it's jarakal, or even faceless Void (stunlock anyone?). what do you think?

true but that is a for the lulz build... who in their right minds would give 6 divines just one hero...

that build aside I still think mort is one of the best carries... followed by nerubian weaver... Weaver vs troll 1 v 1 troll looses...

I think an ideal carry needs strong ability to push line,and can escape when enemies want to gank.so,razor,morph,potm,storm(when he has SS)are the best in my opinion.I dont like troll, mort,void for they have to farm very long time which will make your team 4V5 in the beginning.moreover,Icefrog wants to reduce the time of match in recent versions.so,we need a carry that can lead team in 25 minutes,that's why morph,tinker are so popular in recent versions,just for their ability of pushing 2 or 3 lines and powerful farm speed.

...and yeah.... new razor can be a tank-slash-attacker. that bastard absorbs the attack power it's desired target. can spam 1st skill. is dangerous when ss is targeting you since each bolt reduces armor (HOLY SHIT!).

That's why My razor relies solely on the enemy's damage... SINCE I TAKE THEM! Thus, I mostly buy defensive items. with the exception of the usual treads, a possible satanic, and the Buriza.

@Bitice:Yes mort is hard to powerup, but i disagree with void and troll they are capable of ganking at around lvl 11 with enough back up, and when it comes to late games troll and void are one of the strongest late gamers because of their stun and ability to chase their enemies

I have to agree on this one to a certain extent... mid game gankers are more famous than late game carries but late game carries are more powerful... and a carry is usually just a insurance for the team... if things look grim and the team manages to hold the line while the carry farms the enemy team may start praying...

yeah,but that's if the carry can last long enough to get the item. Usually,carry hero be the killing target at early game because it's still weak. oh,and if you build a team with all carry, you will definitely lost from an ideal team consist of 1 int, 1 agi support,1 agi killer(carry),and 1 tanker.

thats the factor that distinguishes pro from mid level players, survivability with carry heroes. Pros can survive in early games with carry heroes and even join ganks, while Mid level players may/will get killed a couple of times and only start being able to farm at mid game.

In version 6.59,NEC,DP,tinker and undying are 4 imba heroes who have ability to push and are hard to be ganked which give much pressure to traditional agi carries.usually a match will end in 40 minutes.from then on,carries change into heroes who can push line and farm speedily or have extra damage to tower like Syllabear.I admit troll , void and mort have high dps but they can be restricted by items like Guinsoo and shiver's guard.

yeah, "all carry" team lose at,err,approximately 40min or 50min.

how does having pro carry hero player = all carry team?

Btw if an all carry team can survive and manage to farm to last 40-50 mins they have a chance at making a come back

yup,bitice is right.then we stuck till end without any chance of strike back because we were dominated right from very first minute. End kill stats is 22 for scourge(ideal) vs 6 Sentinel(all carry)

Oh yeah, anyone had play Barathrum VS Rhasta one on one? Who do you think will win? i'd play it 3 times and Rhasta (me) always win, ehehehe

It's anybody's ball game, actually. If barathrum builds the proper items, rhasta is done for. And vice versa.

...and DAMN ns and nr is a serious option that would bring DotA players to the test >_<.l

The ideal team would obviously win in clashes, at ganks carries would have the advantage...and seeing as pro players tend to go with clashes. carries lose. so ya
