I think it's a piece of code the creators forgot to modify if players chose to continue interaction with Natsume early in the game. It just felt like it didn't flow.
Oh, for anyone who's unsure:
When you have the options of spending time with specific girls, or not spending time with anyone, go with the not spending time with anyone option. You usually run into Natsume... lol ...

Ah, I found out about that last night. Apparently they pulled a, "Exactly as planned" maneuver on me. lol...Seriously, did NOT see that coming. I knew there was something 'special' about Natsume, especially in her dialogue, you can kind of tell. Good game so far...I hope there's more Natsume goodness, lol...

The improve version is smaller and is a lot better in "english wise" than the previous one.

UPDATE: Problem solved. I solved it by tinkering around with my old version and this new version. Apparently it was the culprit of the new versions system.arc file that was causing.

All you had to do was to copy the old version of the system file and place it to the new version. The crack should work after that.

Your system ark wont work I downloaded and used it in the 'new' translation but i didn't work it still said sys. is missing oh wait take that back fixed it Sorry for doubting

Umm... sorry for butting in, but how to use the Retail (improved) Version? it wasn't mentioned in the front page.
is it some sort of patch?

Just download the retail version and the crack. Extract both of them, then just copy the crack over to the game folder. Then just use the crack application when you play the game, and everything should work fine.

Um, I would have to say bittersweet. If you want to know the ending to judge for yourself, there it is.
