Ah, if that's the case then thanks for the correction. How the hell would you control an evil spirit, though? See, I was thinking of the hypothetical situation of Caster being turned evil by a manipulative master. Servants at least have rules binding them to their masters...mostly. Could anyone even control an evil spirit?
Either way, Servant or Evil Spirit, I'm sure Caster could've and would've beaten the ever loving shit out of F/SN's caster, which is an image that brings me joy to no end.
Also: Since the main antagonist's servant was Gawain in EXTRA, I'm gonna call it right now: The primary antagonist's servant in EXTRA CCC is Merlin Alter.
How wicked and terrifying would THAT be?
Merlin, one of the greatest and most famous mages in legend...turned Alter.
I think there was a quote from Typemoon wikia. Just hold on.....
[According to Caster's own words:
"This time there is only one due the constrains of the Moon Cell, but originally I could produce a million troops from my multiple tails!"]
There. That's the original quote and of course the clincher~~:
["In Fate/Extra, Tamamo-no-Mae is a soul that branched off from Amaterasu and her true identity is not that of a nine-tailed fox, but rather is treated as one of the facets of said goddess.
Also, its a big mistake to categorize her as an Heroic Spirit.
Because Tamamo-no-Mae turned into a Heroic Spirit in order to realize her wish of "becoming a good wife", she cannot manifest her original power.
In the case that she is revived as an evil spirit, she will undergo a transformation into a large monster that can defeat even 100 heroes. It is not just for show that she is called one of Japan's Three Great Monsters."]
I doubt anyone can control THAT!
I don't think we can compare Caster of F/SN to Caster of EXTRA. They both have their strong point so it depends on the battle situation. Perhaps in a direct fight, Medea would lose easily but she is more cunning than she looks.
I'm waiting for another surprise from Nasu about the evil villain of EXTRA CCC. I know he won't disappoint!
