It sounds like this only works if absolutely doesn't feel the need to hang out with your friends going out partying, going to the movies, or whatever you feel like doing.

That just doesn't work for me, and i suspect this goes for most people, and school was a breeze compared to actual work.

And as i've already stated, i love VN's, but i hardly feel the need to play every title, and i don't feel the need to learn an entire new language just because one of my interests happened to be made in japan.

That's why translators do what they do, and they're doing a great too (most of the time).



Maybe that's because they can't? And learning an entire new language isn't something minor.

Here's an idea, just ignore the people saying that, or just ignore this section, since those kind of statements ain't never gonna stop.

Lucky me, I have a friend who have already mastered japanese, and I'm chinese so I can usually understand the meaning of kanji, and I can get everything I need from my friend (i.e. dictionary, beginner books) so I don't have to spend at all.

Conclusion: There are no cons for me in learning Japanese! Yay!

Some ppl at beastlair are doing it, making some constant progress of about 1% each week or so with ranmafan TLC them, if this keeps up, the earliest would be next year this date.

Ugh, the previous "release2" is misleading, i didn't read clearly earlier and thought it was almost done lol, sorry if i misled anyone couple pages back(never thought after so many years it's still not half done), seems like their upcoming patch release "release2" is just a partial.

Ranmafan is TLC/editing them atm(release2), when it's done there will probably be a patch release

I think that learn Japanese is good .
Well , At least when i was a child , they told me to learn one of these Languages ( Chinese , Japanese = Don't really have to )

English = must learn .
And well , I didn't really give a shit about it .

But when I went to work , they asked me : Do you know any other languages beside English ? . OH FFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUU . So , I remember that i still have some Japanese textbook . But omg , It's hard to learn Japanese +.+ . But Lucky me , My wife younger sister knows japanese and she is an otaku .

Don't want to say this , but when i play this game , i need her =(= . She translates for me . Lol . i know it's sound stupid but it's true .

Right now , i know a very little japanese , i can say something like Hello , How are you . I'm fine , thank you . My hobby is play gofl . But shit, i couldn't read . Lol

Oh no worries, I don't think something is wrong with your pc. The no dvd.exe is mostlikely a false alert of your anti virus program, those nocd/dvd.exe are often identified as virus by some anti virus programs though most of the time those are false alerts. If you want to be absolutely sure wether its a fake alert or not you can upload the file on a site like virustotal.

In case your anti virus program is preventing you from using the no dvd patch you can either put it on the ignore list of you antivirus program, ( I'm sure nowadays most programms have such an option or a similar one), or deactivate your av program while you use nodvd or ..yeah use another av program^^
