Fire Emblem: Expand

Ike is finally going to be in the game, and with a Distant Counter weapon like Raijintou too. (Poor Roy and Zephiel getting their weapons nerfed)

Also new Story Chapter, which means another extra 15 orbs.

Spent 60+ orbs on Ike's banner. No 5* whatsoever, only 4* Chrom and adult Tiki worth mentioning.

Spent 55 orbs on golden banner. Got Azura (YAY) and Nowi.

Welp, no more orbs.

Main account got Azura. Yay finally a Dancer besides Olivia.

Alt account got Takumi. Yeah, Now I'm just saving my orbs for the nest Hero Fest.

Used 18 orbs from May quests in Hero fest. Got fukken Ryoma, albeit -atk +spd. Maybe I can get Hector if I get enough orbs now (not gonna happen)...

Finally got Azura, and with decent IV's to boot (+Speed, -HP).

I was so happy that I actually got a boner.

I also got Hector, but at -Attack, +Speed. Decided to give his Distant Counter and Goad Armor to Effie.

Lunatic Xander is giving me a little headache, since I don't have anyone who can tank hits from both him and the Green Mage. Henry might work, but I don't have any trained up. Just been using Henrys as inheritance fodder.

Yeah, I have Ryoma, so Xander's Grand Battle is not hard at all.
He tanks counter the green mage and the right sword user, Marie standby to heal. Next turn, Bait Xander with my Nowi, along with the Blue Spear, after tanking the damage, next turn move my minerva to kill the blue, and move nowi to kill xander. all that's is left is the healer.

Used Nino (killed red sword and green mage), Olwen (damaged Xander's and cleric's HPs), Azura (killed Xander and cleric), and Cherce (killed blue spear) and cleared it in 1 try. Almost lost due misplacing, but luckily Olwen tanked Xander for a turn.


BTW, any suggestion for skills inheritance of Azura and Ryoma?

Beat Xander. Was just a question of better unit placement and exploiting the goofy A.I. Bunny Camilla, Nowi, Young Tiki, and Lyn. Young Tiki actually didn't end up doing much. Killed off the Lancer while giving Lyn some spot healing.



Wings of Mercy is the go-to skill for dancers. Teleport/Sing a wounded ally and Frederick is pretty easy to get. The wiki suggest Darting Blow, which I agree with. Gives her a nice boost without the drawbacks of Life and Death and Fury.

For a more offensive option, you could always go for Defiant Speed and Desperation. Not many reds are gonna survive that and she can get the K.O. on a good number of blues, too.

As for Lobster Lord, Vantage seems to be the prevalent option. Having faced him in arena, it makes him pretty damned deadly. Vantage on anybody with the Close/Distant Counter, really- but with his inherent Defiant Attack, he is definitely someone that I want to KO in one round.

I see. Gotta see if I have required units for that. And no, only have 1 Frederick so far, so he's not that easy lol.

Currently playing it for 3 hours now, just got Claire.

Dun have 3DS, so not me.

Is it good btw?

For a remake, it's Great and faithful, to the point that you don't have any axe wielders, cause in the original "Gaiden" none of your characters are axe wielders. lol

If you're expecting a "waifu emblem" you're going to be very disappointed. Gaiden is basically the Zelda 2 of the whole series, literally and status wise as the black sheep.

It's definitely a better game than the original, as they added stuff, balanced stuff and make things prettier. They even added a small amount of support conversations, which was non-existent in the original.

Nah, I only played GBA versions and 1 NDS version back then, so don't know about "waifu simulator" system. Tried SNES one but failed spectacularly, too.
