Fire Emblem: Expand

The next group of Focus characters are going to be Eirika and Ephraim, the twin lords of The Sacred Stones, as well as SeliphNavidad and Julia from Genealogoy of the Holy War (Fourth in the series; Japan-only).

So it's up to you. They'll be out on the 15th (this Wednesday).

I'm gonna keep gunning for Lucina and Azura before I try for any of them. Although I am expecting Ephraim and Eirika to be pretty good. Eirika because she ranked high during the voting period, and Ephraim just because he was a pretty awesome lord.

EDIT: Although if this means that a new batch of characters are coming along with these new Focus, I'm probably gonna throw down some orbs if L'Arachel or Marisa become available.

Oh, okay. I do like Eirika and Julia but damn, now I'm really not sure. I wonder if Azura will continue to drop in the new gacha... fuck.

I had a feeling Sacred Stones would be soon for focus so now I'm conflicted. I've literally only gotten Tiki and Robin as focus characters so far and Robin not even 5 star. So now I'm not sure if I should save orbs or keep rolling to see if I can get some units like Lucina, Takumi, or Camilla.

I can't find any information on whether they're going to oust one or both of the current Focus, or keep them or anything. Due to said uncertainty, I would keep going for the current ones- this new batch will be out for at least two weeks (new maps for more orb farming should, too- be pretty stupid not to).

AS a guy who has played Gacha like games for years.. No she will not be removed from the gacha pool, since she's not limited. The current system of pools is just that, pool 1 has these as focus characters, poll 2 has these as the focus characters.

Besides the Focus characters 2 of them are literally the same. Heck, Talking about effectiveness, trying to gun Azura or Hector (like that guy who spent $1000) while they're not the focus is very costly.

didn't get them though, My sister got Eirika and Chrom, damn lucky girl.
Now she has Takumi, Efie, Eirika and Chrom as her 5 Stars.

Got Sheena and Est again. Again.

IMO
Eirika is Tier A (Attack oriented Marth, still no special)
Seliph is Tier A (Nothing really astounding, Brash Assault means it only works against melee characters and Takumi)
Julia is Tier S (Dragon Killer, can heal adjacent Allies, a Special that raises 50% atk at Max)
Ephraim is Tier S (He's all about defense reduction. Getting attacked by him, near to him, and his special is all defense reducing)

Zip diddly fuckall here on the summons.

Did get a 4 star Setsuna, so that's alright.

Eirika has some good mobility skills. I think she's the only chaarcter that has two. She's gonna be pretty solid in hit-and-run tactics.

While Ephraim looks like he's gonna be full-on beast mode. Can debuff enemy defense at least 12 points(EDIT: They don't stack) from his passives, while his skill cuts it down 30%. Along with the Heavy Lance and he's shaping up to be one heckuva tank killer.

Seliph seems to be a harrier, drawing in and then wrecking foes. +4 defense and guaranteed double attacks when at low HP.

Julia has anti-dragon magic that gives her a modest def/res boost when attacked. Gonna be a bit of a gamble for dragon killing, since the current best Dragon is Tiki, to whom she's at a triangle disadvantage. She also has a passive heal for her allies.


So yeah, the twins are looking pretty awesome. Both in skills and their artwork. What's good to note is that all of the previous heroes are still available, but you just won't get the Focus video for them anymore. (Bit of a bummer, Lucina was the only one left that I wanted.)

Only three new maps with three difficulties, meaning 9 more orbs. That's a little disappointing. Would have expected more content than that.

And nothing about patching/fixing/fucking eliminating stamina. Lunatic is taking forever. I still have 8 missions left.



Another note, who would you guys recommend that I upgrade from my 3 stars?

Also, as long as we don't have account levels, the stamina system will not change. In any other Japanese Gacha games, leveling up means instant refresh stamina, and raise the Cap. but since we don't have that, it's not gonna change.

At least they said they are gonna have the half stamina for Towers and 0 Stamina for skills to be a perm thing.

Man I'm really hoping to get Eirika but no luck.
Gotta find ways to grind more orbs.

Got 4* Adult Tiki, Arthur, and Lissa too.

Ditto, though I got ANOTHER Robin (3 now and none 5 star) and I still got the Focus cinematic, so I dunno what's the deal with Focus characters lol. I guess they're forever Focus.

Also my personal recommendation is Gordin from that list. I got a 4 star Gordin and not only is he tanky for some reason, his brave bow just fucks shit up and he has vantage. But I guess that's only if you feel like having a bow user.

Nah, that just means regardless of said character currently being a focus or not, a character who already got a cinematic will still play out the cinematic. And not all focus characters have cinematic as Eirika actually doesn't have one . (I checked my Sisters account, and found no cinematic of her in the movies options.)

So Cinematic summon =/= Focus

I'm getting mixed signals here....Just going to assume Focus heroes are the ones advertised lol.

I think the western fans just got disillusion because of the term "focus", makes it sound really special. Using the Japanese language, it simply says "Pick Up", the usual term for when a certain character new or not has their rates increased higher than the current pool.

Their might a be a day that Ryouma/Hector/Azura other natural 5* will be the "new " focus characters, even though they're not new characters.

Wouldn't that mean the focus characters should have a higher rate to drop? Currently it just shows the same 3%.

Sadly, there are always hidden rates within those 3% focus and 3% non focus rates. If it's really equal, than why does the guy who spent $1000 on the game, have 21 focus character (7 Lyns lol) and 14 non focus. https://imgur.com/gallery/PoPCM

Man, I am exhausted on orbs. I can't even try for Julia anymore. RIP.

Besides TacoMeat (whom I don't even want, anyways. He's broken and also an asshole), I actually have all the archers. 4 star Jeorge and Setsuna, and then 3 star Gordin and Virion. I do like Gordin's skills, but Virion has Astra. The question is if Virion has the stats to back that up.



Pretty sure that the 3% rates are accurate, it's just that Focus characters are listed twice. The reason why is probably because it's easier to code when they switch Focus characters.

For example, instead of having Lyn down as 6% (or whatever 3 and 3 work out to be in probabilities), they have it as 3% and 3%. And so, when they switch Focus characters out, they simply remove/replace one of the slots, instead of having to change the probability.

Why doesn't my Defense score go up? So many successful defense but only a certain figure from a single match seems to be taken.
