The voice patch require "AVG3216M.exe", which is not in the Standard Edition.
It works fine with the one from the torrent, but the english patch doesn't.
Yep..it won't work...It's for non Hentai all-age version...

I've found a Standard Edition that contains voices (DVD version?) on Hshare.
Took a while to download via bittorrent, so I uploaded it if anyone wants it. (All credits goes to Deathmarine, I merely uploaded it on MU after getting it from torrent.)

The voices are working with the new Vanilla patch now.

Yes, extract, install, play with voices.
But! Once you apply the English Teaser patch, the voices goes away.
I suppose it has to do with the numerous SEEN### and GAMEEXE.INI.
I would propose that you download the voiced one, and just wait for the complete patch. (Which is what I'm doing)
Or somehow find a way to get the voices working with the patch.(Which I failed at miserably)

it wasnt extracting 5 parts it was extracting 5 parts into another rar file which needed extracting which then had another rar
btw is there any kind of official amercan release for kanon?

right that and the way the patch worked was confusing as well

it was confusing because at first i didnt no whether or not the new rar had to be extracted b4 running the .exe ...of course it did have to be extracted and now i hav a bunch of rars floating around takinging up space on my external...well it has 500 gigs so it doesnt matter much
scratch that it was a .iso which i have my winrar setup to manage

eh?..I thought It was an .iso rar inside the first rar...Dunno if I'm wrong..I already removed it...

Is it just me, or does the translation stop in Mai's arch on January 20th?
EDIT: Sorry, I was just confused. It is a demo patch, not the official 100% patch.
Edit2: I've reinstalled and the translation still stops on the 20th, any advice?

It's still a Beta Patch, so It won't be that perfect tho....
as for me...I played this game with the older imperfect patch before and I don't think there're problems like this with the older patch...it's just I don't have the old patch anymore....

Strangely, every time i open the game the menu is in japanese, and once i click start game (the top option, i think) it skips to a scene of snow falling and theres not text, just the text box. If i click on it, the game freezes up. Does anyone know what the problem is?

Go to your Computer/Control panel/Regional and language options/choose Japanese.

i need an early version of the english translation patch! the patch turns to gibberish on Mai's path at the beginning of january 20 wensday. if i had that i could switch to the early version through Mai's path and then switch to the new version when i reach a point the old patch didnt translate! any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
