no, sorry, i didn't. what happened to me was that a file called rlbabel.dll wasn't working for the REALLIVE and the patch didn't work: all the textbox said was "Error". if that happens to you tell me and ill help you, but otherwise i cant help at all.

Well, I got everything to work, but when I started up the game I got an error in japanese. I could play the game all the way unti; it got to the opening movie, then it froze. I also had to select "continue to menu" to start the game anyway.

Ok, I set up the patch. I clicked on patch in the pach files, I set up a route to REALLIVE and it said it was complete, but the game is still in japanese :/

that did happen to me. just in case, check that you have this in your gameexe.ini:
#DLL.000="rlBabel"
it should be at the very bottom. if it isnt there, copy this in.

well, that's really strange. Im really sorry, but since i installed kanon in november i don't remember how to do it. sorry, but you'll have to find a way on your own. try going around various forum websites and asking. or ask people on youtube who have videos of the patch working to tell you how they did it.

I'm planning to download this game either way but just to clarify does the version of the game posted have any h-scenes or is it the for-all-ages version?

Thisis the standard version. it contains H-scenes, so if you dont want that look in another website.

Ok, due to some miracle I managed to set up Tomoyo After. I did almost the same thing I had to do with Kanon, only Kanon had a lot more seen files to replace.

If you are playing these Visual Novels solely for hentai, you will be missing out. There are a few scenes, from what I can tell.

I think that that's the main reason people download these visual novels. some of us (including me) download it because we liked the anime or movie, and others download it because they seem interested in the story line. I guess it all depends on what you like.
