Seriously, "Mega evolutions"? This isn't Digimon.

Not as upset but I still think the mega designs look stupid.

Not all too happy with the idea either, but I actually like most of the designs. Absol and Mawile are big exceptions, though, poor things...

The only one I actually tolerated was Mawile's mega design since it didn't look over designed like the rest. I swear they can all pass for Digimons at this point.

A second set of jaws just doesn't make sense to me, even if they're not a real mouth.

This somehow reminds me of FFX-2. I liked FFX-2 quite a sum, but....FFx-2 isn't Pokemon. I don't know what to say until I really experience it myself, but considering the parts I like in the older ones, I don't think I'll care for it much...

They also revealed Mega Kangaskhan, although it looks pretty much the same except the baby is out of it's pouch. It has the ability to attack twice in one turn.

The mega forms are one of the dumbest and most unnecessary additions since the beauty contests. It's actually put me off the game quite some.

Mega Froms of Pokemon scares me. T_T (a lot!) I wish Gamefreak didn't add that feature in the first place so that way it will have the same evolution forms of pokemon in previous gen pokemon games.

I like some of the design of this new "forms", but they should have focused to make actual evolution for some of the old pokemon that doesn't have one.

There's still 2 months left till it's out.

Who knows what other information is released by then.

As long they don't put in fusion as well...

The more i heard the word mega the more it feels wrong...

Don't we already have that with Black Kyurem and White Kyurem?

I lol'ed at the image, not sure why.

And Mega Kangaskhan maybe will see some metagame usage, if it's ability really applies to any attack move it can learn, could be a good substitute killer xP

Opinions on the Mega Evolutions revealed:

Mega Absol: from what I've read, it's getting increased attack and speed, so hope it can become a good sweeper. It looks okay.

Mega Mawile: getting Pure Power, Fairy typing, and an attack boost may make it more used, I hope. I like it.

Mega Mewtwo: no comments, since it's legendary lol

Mega Lucario: attack boost and Adaptability will make those Close Combat really painful, I liked this one too.

Mega Ampharos: I don't see how this one could be used, it gets Dragon type and Mold Breaker, but I haven't seen what stat bonuses it gets. Not sure of it.

Mega Blaziken: surely straight to Uber, since now it gives instant access to Speed Boost xP

And well, I don't mind changes, since I'm of those that just enjoy the games and are pretty much neutral to every drastic change and new Pokémon. Really looking forward to this... and to have a 3DS in the first place.

I can't believe how a single word agitates people this much. But I suppose that's how it is with everything, there's people who are okay, the neutral ones, and the ones that complain of any minimal change.

What I would like to know right now, even if it's just not that meaningful, as in, I fucking want to know already is:

Exactly and i didn't particularly mind it, but they should leave it at that without improving this feature for other pokemon, or do it but in a limited way.

I thought I seen some YouTube play this game already, I have never really been much into the whole Pokemon thing, never got into the show, or the manga or card game, but I have always enjoyed the games, but lately they just been getting boring.
Still think sapphire was the best one.

i think pokemon battling has gotten more fun with every gen.

Fun is subjective, but the fact is the meta-gaming aspect gets more competitive. since they made EV and IV training much simpler.

I'm pretty excited for this game, I like most of the new features (even mega Evolutions ) I mean lets face it, if Pokemon didn't start making bigger changes people would compare it to cod, calling it repetitive
