Thought this was a pretty neat idea back in the entertainment section, so let's see how well it works here. In case this is a duplicate thread, I'd like a link to the original.
Simple rules: give the name of the game, write at least one line that says what you thought about it, then rate it. Pictures and videos are optional.
Just played Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy.
The graphics may be bad, but the lightsaber mechanics are awesome.
I like the mission variety in here. Each mission takes you to a different environment and the journey to finish the objective is an amusing one. Now, having played Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast, this one was better in some ways, and a lot worse in others. This time around, the game lets you choose to wield a staff saber or double sabers. That's cool, especially with the new moves you could pull off. Another plus is the addition of force powers that were only available in multiplayer in Jedi Outcast, namely, Force Protect, Absorb, Sight, Drain, and Dark Rage.
On the other hand, the AI is just horrible. Enemies just stand there, sometimes actually doing nothing, even though you're about 20 feet away. This is especially true for enemy Jedi, who will literally just stare at you, waiting for you to get closer to start the battle. The plot is the same old same old, and the last boss battle is lamer than in Jedi Knight 2, which actually has a boss that makes you run away from him because he'll force rape you.
I hate this game with a passion. I just started, and already I want it to end. You can't move while shooting OR knifing, and the aiming mechanism is horrific. The game strikes no fear into your whatsoever, other than the fear of getting bored to death.
Graphics are OK, nothing spectacular.
Single player may seem fun, but it disappoints you by being only 6 hours long which is likely the shortest single player mode ever.
Multiplayer is where this game shines. Unlike Battlefield Bad Company 2 (a newer shooting game war based) you can win even if you have a shitty team, but you play like a beast (Loller's video provides evidence). It is fun at times when you play against weaker players, but when you get into a match with all good people you feel like you want to break your controller. Also the game has a few overpowered weapons/perks that people like to abuse such as:
Akimbo weapons
Pro Tubes
Famas
Thermal Scopes
Also people accuse you of cheating if you are 10th prestige level 70. Tell me, if I have 22 days (the game counts day = 24 hours) played on this game, is it not possible that I reached it legitly? -_-
My rating:
Graphics - 7/10 Graphics are pretty good.
Single player - 3/10 Quite short, got disappointed.
Multiplayer - 9.5/10 Very fun, but sucks every once in a while.
Replayability - 10/10 It just sucks you in and never lets go.
Total - 7.5/10 If you're going to get this game, only get it for the multiplayer and the replayability(of online gameplay).
Ah what a great game to play one of the best games i played from my childhood
Yeah im using an emulator to play this
Anyways...
The game is a platformer with a 3d enviorment...and it isnt about clearing the lvls its more of "collecting" to move on to new worlds
Since your a dragon you can pretty much glide, blow fire and ram into enemies
Graphics are superb along with the colors in the game i can just look at the skies all day XD
the soundtracks are pretty neat too my favorite is going to Gnasty Gnorc's world
Never like the fifa games, i prefer Pro Evolution Soccer games, i played this cause obvious reasons the World Cup has began and just gave this game a chance to see if there is any good stuff but basically its the same thing, same graphics, same controls (which i hate), everything. Another i observed in the game its that the players of the teams are not updated.
To bad for the World Cup Official game, my rate: 5/10
Returning to play PES2010.
Ikkitousen Xross Impact (PSP)
What can i say? impressive improvement since the first game of Ikkitousen for PSP, the game modes, the game system even a little bit the graphics are much better than the first game.
New characters, new features, new controls. I think its a good game although it has some details. And as most of you well know, dont even think that you will see the girls of Ikkitousen naked in this game, this game is only "ecchi" but not hentai game, damn wish they released an adult edition of this game, lol...
My rate: 9/10
Finally,
Dead Or Alive Paradise (PSP)
Again, what can i say? an island, the beach, the sun, and...the girls of DOA in swimsuit!!!
Basically almost the same stuff of the XBOX360 game, never played that version but i read that its almost the same stuff.
Despite of almost every says about the graphics and got dissapointed with this game, what can you ask to the PSP? obviusly it has his limits about graphics for being a portable console.
I like a lot this game, the girls of DOA in swimsuit! O__O, simply will define this game as good, enjoyable, and most of all hot!.
My rate: 8/10

:/
Anyways,
Grand Theft Auto IV: The Ballad of Gay Tony (PS3):
The BEST expansion game on consoles right now. I dare you to name a add-on expansion game that as deep and cheap as this one. To begin with, most of the new characters are awesome as hell, I found Luis to be a more likable protagonist than Niko and don't even get me started on Yusuf. But what really makes this game stand out is that awesome over the top missions. Most of them really make GTAIV feel like a completely new games. Bringing back the parachute was the greatest decision Rockstar made. The awesome voice overs over and soundtrack is just the icing on the cake.
My only problem with the game is the predictable story. This is the third game in the GTAIV saga so you can easily predict what's going to happen if you played and finished IV and Lost and Dammed. Also, most of the new weapons are not as cool as the ones found in Lost and Damned. (I miss the Assault shotgun)
Final Fantasy 1 on the Wii virtual console. It was alright but i don't recommend it to people with zero patience or time. Its mainly put out there for nostalgia i guess, or just big fans of the series who wanted to see the first of the series.
I rate a 6.5/10
Definitely a game for those who love blood and gore. It still managed to startle me even though I've beaten it 3 times before.
I love their take on the whole dismembering thing: Headshots just won't do it this time around. The story is what makes the game more interesting. Collecting the video logs, text logs, and audio logs just makes me want to know more about what's been going on around here. All in all, it was a great game, and I will definitely be getting the sequel.
My rating:
Graphics - 8/10 Surprisingly not eye cancer.
Single player - 8/10 Starts off slow, then gains momentum in round two.
Multiplayer - 9.5/10 Community = Win. Plus online matches are a blast.
Replayability - 10/10 Much like little big planet, always something to do.
and the last boss battle is lamer than in Jedi Knight 2, which actually has a boss that makes you run away from him because he'll force rape you.
lol, the last boss in Jedi Knight 2 was way lame when I played it, I just used Force Speed, run up behind him and 1 hit KO'd him in slow motion. Didn't work in Jedi Academy, the boss there always used Force Speed as well to match.
Played Valkyria Chronicles last, not finished yet, but I like it. The story is good (so far I think it's better (maybe cuz it's more detailed) than in the anime), the characters are diverse and interesting, and the battles are a good mix between strategically challenging and easy. A bit repetitive at times, but fun nonetheless.
The World Ends With You (Will be referred to as TWEWY)
I'm not big on the DS as Nintendo has pushed out shit games for it. TWEWY was different. The team did a good job utilizing the DS touch screen and there were some great original ideas in the game. Loved the setting of the game; Japanese culture of Shibuya in a non-weabo-ish way. The game also stylizes everything to match the pop/hip-hop culture and did a pretty good job with the restrictions of the DS. One of the greatest part of the game was its music and how you could buy tracks from the stores and set it as your menu music. Good stuff.
Story wasn't top tier, but it was good in its own way. There were a few twists and turns to keep you interested and it had pretty good pacing.
Game play was interesting as well. Controlling your Psyches using different touch commands on the lower screen, while controlling your partner on the top screen using the D-pad took getting used to, but it became quite fun after a while. I especially liked the feature of being able to lower your level and increase the difficulty to up the loot and exp (and to provide some challenge).
This game totally blew me away. From beginning to end it was pure joy.
The puzzles are very well thought out and challenging. I found myself smiling most times when I beat a puzzle because of the sheer greatness of the use of physics to create the levels.
The plot is very interesting and GLaDOS is an awesome character with an awesomely written dialogue.
I absolutely recommend this game to everybody, especially the folks who like a challenge and cool plots. If you enjoy this do yourself a favor and also check World of Goo (also for the PC, brilliant puzzle game).
[size=10]If you know some more good pc puzzle games, gimme a pm yo.[/h]
I've played FF from 7th to 12th, but this one felt really special. As for me, it surpassed even my (ex-)favourite 7th, same goes to my new favourite protagonist.
Definitely a game for those who love blood and gore. It still managed to startle me even though I've beaten it 3 times before.

9/10
The movie explains a bit more as well...
Too bad the animation is craptastic, it actually reminds me of Sherlock holmes in the 22nd century, but still it does sorta give an insight on to what happened prior to Dead Space...
As for my last game lol I was just playing dead Space for like the 5th time now, beat leviathan with my fukken cutter, trying to get all the achievements...
What can I say, I love this game so much! I must have played it at least over 20 times and I never get bored of it. Everything in that game is awesome. If you haven't yet, PLAY IT!
This is one of the best games ever in PSX .... i don't mind to finish it again and again just to saw how good this game was .. that counts, i have finish it more than 6 times in every difficulty except easy
The only flaw which i can saw is (aside from graphic) the dialogue .. don't know why i just sees them reading a script rather than talking .. aside from that , this game is impressive
Good storyline + (not) cheap scare + Well made puzzle = Point ++
SH offer different scare from RE and the other typical horror game ... it's not because the monster's face is scary or they just go peek-a-boo on you ..
it's all about your psychology ... your deepest fear .. your sin ...
that's all you have to faced .. which makes this game original in its own genre
