The first playthrough will be on normal difficulty (60 default score) and will probably take between 100-120 turns. Thus your bonus points garnered for achievements are not going to be more than the #turn detriment. If you want points, IMO play through all 4 routes (normal + 3 character options) to get 20 points, then bump up the difficulty.


I don't particularly condone use of CE unless you're trying to burn through the game ASAP for like 3-5 character clears. If you want, he's a screenshot of my setup. For reasons unknown I wasn't able to upload the file itself to any hosting site. I'm not positive this will be consistent from PC to PC, but the memory locations are always the same on my computer from game to game.

It's a REALLY low priority event. I think it took me like 20 turns for him to show up. Make sure you've got a slot in your roster for when he does eventually rear his head.

You can go through any route in any difficulty.

how do I find that kunoichi school?

You have to conquer Iga outright.

for ran route, i highly recommend don't use direct route through Takugawa > Imagawa > Hojo (ran), those raccon will undoubtely too strong for early turn, instead use this route

1. Hara (conquer)
2. Ashikaga (conquer)
3. Miko Institute (conquer, try to capture Himiko in battle she will undoubtly very useful - all 7 stat, guard cancel, de-buffer)
4. Uesugi (conquer, try to scout before battle and if Kenshin in enemy roster just put Rance for instant win) also by doing this you will get Kenshi and Naoe... both of em are very good

- by this time Tenshi Sect will annouce war to you, don't conquer Tenshi Sect!!, if you do conquer Tenshi, the Ran route will be lock / gameover, keep at least 1 house standing to prevent total city lost

5. Now you can conquer Hojo House, remember to first capture Ran in Battle before total conquer and also letting Soun go to Mamushi Oil Field

ps : try to be as fast as possible, don't take turn to long to prevent Nobunaga broke 5 gourd

the breaking of the seals is like every 20 turns after the last one was broken if no advance was made, so it's not that much of a rush but still, don't stretch it as i'm not too sure how much turns it really is.

further more, I never let the Tenshi Sect off the hook, always conquered the basters just because of their nazi symbol and i played every route so far, including ran. so no real need to keep them alive, hack if you don't want the monks there it's even better to take over and prevent riots, and they don't (ironically) even have a seal so no need to worry about breaking an extra one. I usually take over every nation that doesn't have a seal (except takuga, one eye and asai asakura) before I even decide what route I'm gonna take. It makes a nice power build up without moving the story and fighting with the big dogs.

arghh i need 6 more CG to get 100% completion...

You have to get him up to seven trust/normal, can't remember which specifically, and have an open space in your roster upon which a purple event will appear in which he will reawaken Omachi from within her stone and she will join your army.

Well tokugawa is a pain...
especially when ur facing them with a high difficulty...

but if you have the luxury of points like I do, I can reach upto edo by turn 11, iga included in the conquest and no I dun have gekkou(One eyed dragon bonus, houjou bonus, uesugi bonus, mouri bonus plus every item in there xD at 5 star diff)

but if you don't have that luxury... well I'm hoping you have someone like ikkyu, witty comeback can only be used 3 times but reversal of the moral bar is already imba on its own...

aside from that, I can only think that you should drain away tokugawa's racoon commanders instead... if he loses sakakibara and tadakatsu... thats already enough to make you win... since ieyasu is pretty slow...

if you can't do that... maybe you should follow the other guy's suggestion of passing thru uesugi... its not that gourd friendly but you get to have kenshin earlier which can help you a bit, just beware of ran... facing her with suzaku on is SUICIDE... tried it once... all my units got wiped out except for rance and kenshin...

btw... where is this sex change temple?? it perks my interest xD

elaborate more, 4 parts of what?

oh that. All you have to do is right-click on the file that has the .part1. extension in the file name, extract to a new folder and it will automatically extract the 3 other parts of the file (2, 3 & 4) as long as they are in the same folder as the first part.
