godforsaken gamepatch has gone AWOL... their site doesnt even work anymore, they just dropped off the face of the internet all of a sudden... so dont expect a Shuffle! full English patch any time soon (its been over 2 years, actually i think its nearing 3, and they have been "almost finished" for over a year, almost 2 now...)
theres a good chance this game will never get a English translation now that Gamepatch is gone... (please Mirror Moon... pick up this project, at least we know you can finish such large projects...)

Gamepatch is just grinding the leftover powdery bits of my nerves these days.
404 error, and not even a hint of "Oops, server ate the homepage." or something.

apparently from what i gathered online, the gamepatch site is down because they wanted to move the site to another server... but its been down for quite a while... they certainly are taking their sweet time... they basically have everything ready for a patch release... but the foo that decided to move to Japan "disappeared" its getting extremely frustrating that they arnt done with the project after they had an eternity or two to finish it. and now its impossible to even keep in contact with the group thats working on it as well... since the site is "temporarily" (permanently) down...

I calls bullshit. From what I know, I can infer this:
Heklin (Lead Translator) moved to Japan about three months before I joined Gamepatch. He has not "Fled the country", so to speak, and kept the patch for himself. In fact, he has been in contact with the staff and promised to get them the files by 2009.
The reason the files are gone is because of a computer error. They did have a copy in the states, but the Hard disk ate it.
Lordi (Site Admin) went MIA for quite a while, then randomly showed up, and Gamepatch came back up for a little bit. During this time, Dessert and KittieKyo's kid was born, and I assume they are busy with family life right now. Onee-chans absence can attest to how major changes in life may limit online activity. Afterwords, I assume Lordi went MIA again and Gamepatch died some more.
I've been in contact with Raptor, so I know he's alive. He's been busy with Real Life, so he hasn't had time to inquire as to "What the hell" yet. I assume he will, but I'll contact him again if the site is still down in January.
And that's all I know.

it seems like some unforseen force is against getting shuffle translated or something (RUN! ITS THE FUZZ!)... computer problems in japan and death of a hard drive in the states...
i just hope that the data is still safe... or else we are all screwed... and its going to take a LONG time to finish... the project is now something like 3+ years old or some length close to that... many people probably think that at this rate, they will most likely never have a translation...
seriously... if its almost done, might as well finish it real fast and release it... but in the end... all we can do is wait... sigh...

well,there's nothing we can do,first of all we should be thankful that there was gonna be a translation of this wonderful game.. :)

Why not Fakku members set up a translating group? There seems to be many people who can grasp basic jap quite well.
