They have a warning on that link protector site that the authorities will be notified about any illegal material reported on the site. Is this just a generic warning or is there a risk of trouble if links are reported? Also, is the link protector site any better than just using any tinyURL like service? Most of them offer password protection with a registered account.
It's probably just a general warning, but it works fairly well. Also, TinyURL doesn't hide the webpage, just the link. Link-protector actually opens the link in a proxy window, so there's no URL to report.
Although, I may have a way to stop the reporting, although it would probably result in a lot of angry leeches...
