How much of english is translated in that patch i got game going and pritty sure patch is working as is says version1.01a at the bottom of the game program but been playing havent seen anything translated so far.

How do I install that damned patch? :/ I've been trying in using japanese, and someone suggested English (Australia) too. None of them worked, can't even open the game in Japanese. And I've the font installed.

EDIT: Since there is so much trouble cant someone put together a quick guide? ..

EDIT2: Using the AppLocal tools doesnt help me, it just opens and closes the game. It's running 1.01a version.

damn... by the time (as estimated at the wiki page) this game is fully translated I'll already be in the army... :\

hey an expansion was announced recently and I just thought I'd let everyone know since nobody else seems to have posted about it.

While this thread is bumped i might as well tell anyone interested that a new translation patch has been released with half of whoever-it-was-again's route translated.
So with that we have one and a half of the games three routes translated.
(Atleast i think it's three routes)

Spica, with 31% of Garnet's route done. But I think you can only play Spica's route, since there were some scripting issues. :?
(Spica has the pink hair, Garnet has the blue hair)

No there are at least 5 routes, and with the expansion there will be at least 2 more routes, in fact after the 3 main routes the main character's part becomes voiced, at least that's what the wiki says. I haven't touched the game yet since I'm waiting for the translation.

so... what is the status of acquiring this partial translation patch?

Thanks for the Download Klown, I just finished downloading it and have finished installing it, though I've found a few errors and was wondering if anyone could help me? I'll start off by telling what I've done so far. After I installed it and found it wouldn't work right, I searched the thread and found the text info that jjacobs2 had posted, I installed that text file. After that I tried the English(austrailia) uni-code and that hasn't worked so far either, I still get the black screen, I was just wondering if someone could inform me of how they installed it and what he/she used to do so? By the way, I have used both of the updates that are available in the thread. :D

Well, fuck. Seems like the translation group is a sell-out. They're hooking up with JAST to make sum monay apparently, and handing over all their work thus far in the process. And here I was looking forward to being able to play this game soon...ah well, guess I'll just wait til it's released and someone rips a digital copy of it and makes a crack file for it.

well be happy, I actually asked a JAST representative in person about Sumaga at AX2009... and he gave me a "we shall see" answer... now its confirmed that its going to be released. gonna go see if i can shell some money for it when it comes out...

I would appreciate if you changed this misleading information, because people like me will download a entire visual novel only because a "english patch" and sucks to find out that still there is no english patch after downloading all those parts and that link is just another updater same as the one that comes togheter with the 8 parts rar.

It's gayer than the Cherry Pt. Oktoberfest, but we may have to settle for waiting some-odd years until JAST-Nitro+ gets their english localization of this game out. >_< And this is one I'd forgotten existed and wanted to try.

JAST is already dragging their feet with Deus Machina Demonbane.... no telling how long this one'll sit on the shelf. :|
