Super Smash Bros. 4 for the Wii U/3DS Announced!

Hopefully Ike's confirmation doesn't mean we don't get a new FE character in the roster. Ike's cool and all but I want someone different. Preferably a magic user.

YES! Ike is back! I was a bit scared considering I thought he would be cut for certain. And he's wearing his Radiant Dawn costume! OMG! :D

Now they just need to reveal Chrom so everything can be right in the world.

Giving how big Fire Emblem Awakening's success was, I believe someone from there will be the new seasonal representative. Some believe it will be either Chrom or Robin, but if Tharja was confirmed it would definitely be a twist and I would welcome it.

I for one, am excited for Ike being back for the new game. I've been recently maining him and Diddy for Project M, and to see him back makes me happy.

Hopefully the new FE character is a female one. Do prefer Lucina, but I don't mind anyone from Awakening.

Yes! My main man is back. Thouh it would be cool if it was his PoR Lord outfit. Though I dont mind his Radiant Dawn one.
Well Ike was the ononly one I cared about. So I now can just wait for the game.

I blame Nintendo of America for never localizing Fire Emblem 6. Now poor Roy is all but forgotten in the minds of most FE players this side of the pond.

I still love Roy. He's my sub in Project M. Hopefully, if he ever does return, I'm hoping he has the Project M version of him in the new game. He's 100x better and a lot more fun over Marth IMO.

Agreed. I'm still waiting/hoping for Chrom, with possibly a Lucina alt appearence.

More information on the invitational. Anyone who's a bit familiar with the competitive scene will recognize a lot of faces.

Nintendo also announced a gamecube controller adapter with 4 inputs which is perfect for those who are still used to it. I'm hoping this means that we're also getting some Gamecube games in the virtual console.

I'll try to get a hold of one of the limited edition Smash tokens that they are giving away. Lucky a smash fest store is 19 minutes away from my house.

This mean one has to preorder before or at the store during the event?

This is weird to me. Like, I'm not opposed per se, but there are others I'd prefer over him.

I wouldn't really say it's surprising. I mean he is Namco's mascot and it's going to be fun having Sonic, Mario, him and Mega Man go at it. My choice would be Jude or Ludger from the two Tales of Xillia games but I'm fine with this.
