The console wars

Well.. it seems I am being flamed as we say it on Bungie.net.... First, If you want to get technical.. I did know some of the games where Multiplatform BUT if you where such a gaming wiz, you would also Know that the games are allot more popular on the 360... Now.. This is about the games that support the Console .. GoW2 , I dont really care if you dont like it, the first one produced sells at 2 million copies in its first six weeks :shock: ... O yeah and not to Mention your "Least" Favorite game Halo 3 has a Possible Campaign expansion pack, not only that but has new achievments(which in it self has increased the online play by tenfold :twisted: ), and the New Mythic map pack which will feature 6 new maps and other content... sorry to say but Not only is Halo3 going to single handedly rock the online world, but when GoW2 comes out in November... expect huge sales..

Dont be surprised if your PS3 combusts, come the next few months...(lol)

And again... I own all three, unlike you, so I have the oppurtunity too test them side by side...

Now, about the LIVE Community... No doubt, there are those immature players, but you can not sit there and tell me the PS3 online does not have the same type of people? Seriously I have played online on it ..

Multi console means for all platforms, then the Wii should be winning on all the games sold. So invalid argument. :wink: It is also was actually more popular because xbox live is better, and people liked the achievement system. Though I don't know how the trophy system will effect sales now.

Did you have to drag the wii into the PS3 360 argument? >.> Thats unfair. Also some people don't care for online play at all, *Cough*Moses*Cough*. I still feel that the reason 360 has a lead in console sales is because it was released a year earlier and at a cheaper price then the PS3.

I didn't really bring it in for the sake of the Wii but I brought it in to prove my point that the number of consoles sold doesn't really mean that more games will be sold for that console.

Some might not care about online play but majority do; like me. :D That's why Call of Duty 4 won out on the 360.

What do you mean won out? Ive played COD4 on both the 360 & PS3 and theres no difference. Neither one looks better or does anything better then the other. If your arguing that it sold more I can still argue the only reason for that is theres more 360s then PS3s so of course it will sell better.

I wonder how many Ps3 would've been sold if it didn't have blue-ray.

Well, it's not like Blue-ray is owning DVD sales either. If you ask me, both HD-DVD and Blue Ray are ahead of their times. I'll give it a few years before they catch up with the general public.

HD-DVD is pretty much dead though, all the movie big-shots have/are leaving the format.

Also, does anyone have some comparison shots of the two formats? I want to see what's so good about BR compare to HD.
