@Klown because it was a color experience. Just like halo it showed that all it takes to sell a game is the same style just prettied up. I liked SSBB WAY MORE then halo.
But i know one thing, SSBB had one of the best OST's ever, fuckin gold.
I need to find that and put it in the OST section.

well yea, who wants to drive a crappy '85 car around when you could have a new corvette?
What IM saying is Halo did NOTHING new or different. Don't make me have to post another zero punctuation video.
lol, no, that wont be necesarry unless it is really funny XD
but they didnt do anything different, there's not always something wrong with not changing things. it was a fast paced fps that was fun to play with other people and had good support/follow ups is what it comes down to...that and frat boys...ugh frat boys....aside, last time i had that much fun with an fps was golden eye on the 64
E3: Why are you guys even mentioning E3 anymore? It's all about GDC, TGS, and PAX now.
fyi: The wii shouldn't even count in the console war, it's in its own category or something XD.
yes...the lame, casual gamer category. i cant wait for the next systems to come out, i hope something in the industry changes...
Can a system actually "win" the "console war"? I understand losing, like the Dreamcast technically "lost" because Sega dropped that thing pretty fast (even though games were still coming out for it until like 2007). I find the whole debate on which is "better" and which one is "winning" this so-called "console war" (wow I'm using lots of quotations) stupidly redundant.
People argue this all the time and it's pointless. People like what they like and in their eyes the system they like is winning. There is no winning. It's all a state of mind. The only way a system can win is if there are no systems left to have a "war" with.
Instead of arguing which is winning, or which is better, why don't you just play what you like to play and stop putting other people/games/systems down. Live and let live and all that. Everyone likes what they like and you can't really change that.
I'm neutral about the whole thing. I don't think any system is better than any other. I play what I want to play when I want to play it and I don't let who's "winning" deter me.

That's exactly what I was saying ^^
I think that it's just funny to discuss things, I don't care which one wins. I just like to discuss things, is that so wrong?
Nope, it's not. I also like to participate in the discussions, I just can't stand the extremely narrowminded fanboys who just put down other consoles to feel better ^^ It's also a slight difference between debating and flaming. I have seen a lot of flamers in this matter...
(incoming message: Gogogo Wii! xD / Message sponsored by Crys)
haha ^^ indeed, go go wii!
I haven't read any of the other posts, so I don't know if they're flaming or not ^^ my reason for checking this topic out was to waste time discussing trivial matters such as consoles ^^
Sonic is Sega... but Sega isn't doing consoles anymore, and if you have to choose a fitting company for him, it would be Nintendo, though the majority of his appearances is in Nintendo games. Also he is my favorite character in Brawl
Fable 2 will be awsome! But anyway, clock why do you have FEAR on that list? The PS3 got fear, now if you mean Project Origen (FEAR 2), it is also going to be on the PS3.
They said the first one would be awesome and it was retarded. They've lost my faith.
If by retarded you mean FUCKING AWESOME, than yes.
Moses you have just gone up a couple level in my respect book.

I only say X360 has won the next gen war so far
*Cough* Wii has, and is winning the next gen console war so far, the other two ain't even close to be winning or overthrowing the Wii atm.
God it's funny when people look at this statistic and think Wii has won but if you look at game sales, the 360 has sold more games than Wii AND PS3 combined...

I think it's funny that people use ZeroPunctuatoin to base their hate since the maker of these videos bashes on it just because it's funny and probably doesn't even really agree with his own videos. I mean one of the games he bashed turns out to be one of his top 5 games... In the end not a good source to get your hatred for games from.

I do have to agree with you that SSBB does suck but can't agree with you on Halo. The multiplayer is by far my favorite (COD4 comes hella close) FPS. The single player campaign can go to hell for all I care but seriously you cannot bash on it's multiplayer and it had a HUGE improvement vs. Halo 2.
I agree mostly with Nightclock that 360 is "winning" the console wars. There will always be people with different preferences but it seems the 360 has reeled most of the gamers (I'm saying gamers not causuals). I think the online is the best of all three also... Specially live Arcade. :D
Favorite Games (Does not necessarily have to be an exclusive):
Assassins Creed
Halo 3
Gears of War
Lost Planet (Great single player sucky Multi though)
Ninety Nine Nights
Mass Effect
Upcoming games:
Mirror's Edge
Fable 2
Prince of Persia Prodigy
FFXIII
Force Unleashed
Probly more in those lists but feeling lazy at the moment.
