Touhou Games

I'm having problems with all of them...

Hey, im new to Touhou, and i have 1 thing to ask: how do you guy get the storyline?
i mean i chose TH6, then play-> Normal mode->jump into the battle-> shoot shoot shoot-> meet the stage boss -> watch them talking about some nonsense things -> shoot shoot shoot ->the boss fail -> nonsense talking again -> next stage 0.o?
maybe it will take a while for me to get the game... T_T
and yeah, i failed at stage 4 in normal mode, half of... stage 1 in hardest mode ("for wierd people" lol)

Touhou 6 is this way , really =D
i , myself, don't even try to understand the storyline so i can't answer lol
quite good of you to get to stage 4, not to brag but even after i played 1 month of the other touhou curtain shooting games, the most far i can reach on touhou 6 is the last boss and get my ass pwned by her.
Would love if PCB had the "spellcard practice mode" of IN =D

found a glitch on mountain of faith (english patched) and thought i should share and find if it's only mine that is doing this:

Choose Marisa, Piercing Style (the one that shoots lasers).
Get to Power 3.00 ~ 3.99 (when you are shooting 3 lasers).
Now just hold Z (don't hold shift), and put your enemy between the 3 lasers (the center one must be hitting your enemy direct).
Doing this you will cause system breaking damage (sometimes the boss lose the current life bar even before any bullet from the pattern reach you).

Can you minna try this too and share if worked too, or is just a problem with my machine?

using the modified dlls for the vsync fix can optionally repair that and allow for proper runs using her lasers

Wow, that's great then , since i have this patch already and did stop playing with her just because of that, now i can choose my prefered shoot type again, thank you for answering and the advice +rep

want to upload this if someone are interesting on Pokemon x Touhou games, it's old game, but still an interesting game to play.

Hum, it's not mentioned on the OP that the files are password protected for that game at least. (Forget it, I'm stupid and don't know how to read -.- ) Well, according to OP:


You should have after extracting the files a executable file. The name of that file should be similar to the game's name. Try to run that file.

:/ I think I understand what to do but don't at the same time,I have the application exe file currently and a 001 002 and 003 file along with files I believe I extracted them from, any chance you could explain what I should be doing?

Let me see if I understand:

- At first you had the .001, .002 and .003 files
- You extracted them
- Then the file extracted was a .exe file

And you're stuck here right? If so, run the .exe file (the file that you extracted). If you don't end up with some error it should happen one of the following things:

- Or it opens a installer to install the game
- Or it runs the game

more like I first extracted the files I downloaded, three files appeared, 001,002,and 003, then while searching to make sure I had everything I found a exe for Mountain of Faith in documents that blabbles on when clicked on about system requirements and type x64 etc
