Watch me suddenly become everyone's enemy number one...
My most hated trend, or maybe second after the graphics over gameplay problem, is the tendency to value multiplayer over single player. I do not have a bunch of people ready to play with me at all times. In fact, most people I know don't even like the same games I like, or just don't have the money to buy everything. Usually I let this slide since I'm not really interested in most games that do this, anyway. But the next Pokemon Ranger game really managed to piss me off with this point again. I don't care too much about that line either, actually, just playing them to get the Pokemon you can transfer to other games, but one of these needing a
multiplayer-only mission? I know exactly one other person with a DS, and that's my sister. And she does quite definitely not have the money for that, being a typical poor university student.
I am not alone!
I hate multiplayer. From the moment I started playing video games, I've played them alone, and I've always liked it that way. I don't like relying on other people to accomplish something.
