They were not clones, the Emperor used his DNA in their creation yes, but they are not clones.

Thats something I really wanna see done right. Its kind of hard to think of just one Imperial Guardsman running around in multiple worlds. There probaly going to be like the mastermind class in Heroes vs Villans where you have your character attatched to a squad of NPCsYeah, it will be interesting to see their take on each race. And of course we're still just speculating. We don't even know if the Imperial Guard will be playable. I would assume so, but you never know.

Dark eldars would be cool to use.Just think if you get your own slaves,endless possiblities.

The only problem is how true to the lore are they going to be about this especially when they have different races involved.Are they gonna make it that the guardsmen get decimated by just a few rounds from a space marine bolter or make them all even.
There is also the issue of the chaos gods cause so far not all of them has been represented well.

Thers actually 20 clones and bout half betrays. Also, you're missing out some of the biggest major features in 40k....LOTS OF SENSELESS KILLIN AND DEATHS!!!
What platform is the game on, i'll enjoy playin this on the xbox with my friends, also my clan will be called Bloodpact.
The senses killing and death only apply to the Chaos Space Marines of Khorne.

a guardsman cant handle a bolter,it will rip his arm right off.Bolters are akin to mini rocket launchers.
Besides bolters are only exclusive to the space marines .The only thing close to a bolter are available to imperial officers and thats only a bolt pistol.
They are way to expensive to be given to the men who last 16 hoours

Theres also bolters for veteran sergeants, the two handed ones.
You mean tanks in the codex? last time i checked we have like bout a dozen tanks. excluding the forgeworld variants.

In regards to Bolters and Guardsmen, IIRC Bolters are far more effective than Lasguns, but that doesn't make them mini-rocket launchers. Commissars use bolt pistols, guardsmen use heavy bolters. That bolters are the signature weapons of the SMs does not mean normal forces can't use them.

Actually, Guardsman can use Bolters, it just costs 1 point per guardsman on tabletop 40K XP Its not unique to SM, Only real reason why IG don't really use it is coz they dont wanna pay 1 point XD
I haven't bought the latest Imperial Guard Codex yet, >< EVENTUALLY I WILL
But I do remember that Guardsman can buy Bolters at 1 point apiece for each guardsman.
I don't mind dying super quick to Bolters as long as I can use Cover to block your shots.

How the hell does that work? But your post do mak me think bout the possibility of Orks in the game, i'll imagine that theyll be able to loot other races wargear and incorporate them into their own. Flash gitz, looterz and mekz anyone?
