I also choose E, it's like Siiaxxx said your health is way to low to fight it off. So try sneaking past the coiling snake, by leave behind your new ride at a safe distance;has might give you way. Then make your way in grabbing Hector, after that make your way towards Celia.

Haha, I wasn't serious about naming him King Kong, but I won't protest. That's still a lot of HP for recently beating his face into a bloody pulp, though.
Larger snakes tend to move slower and rely more on utilizing their bodies to crush their victims before eating their corpses, but I'm not going to pretend I understand this fictional beast that's bigger than the Harry Potter Basilisk. If it's moving up the tree, then I'm assuming King Kong was swinging from tree to tree. If this is the case, go either higher or switch to other trees. No matter what happens, it will not ruin its balance by crushing a tree with its own weight just to get a snack. No matter which, since it is giant, it will be more interested in Hector, the unconscious mammal, then a living moving ape. So, rescuing Hector is imperative. Switch trees, then go down and pick him up: My unprofessional assessment.

Lol Xen, you're assessment is better than you might think. I based this snake ooff of sighted rumors on a documentary on giant snakes. Everything you said is pretty accurate.
You jump down to Hector's position as the snake coils it's way up the tree. You realize that such a large creature only appearing now suggests that this must be one of the hunters' creatures. You get King Kong to pick up Hector and hold him in one of his left arms. You turn around and quickly get a move on. The snake speeds up but you are too far gone by the time it reaches Hector's position. "That snake will never stop hunting us," says Hector weakly.
"You're awake," you say relieved. "Why do you believe that?"
"Snakes will continue to hunt their prey if they have its scent."
"Then let it come," you say with determination. "We've already killed one creature and I've tamed another. Let's level the playing field by taking out one more."
You travel back to the forest's edge and stop. You look at your Datapad to see it has been updated. With the news of the second test being said a little after noon and having a few hours pass by, it is midway through the afternoon right now. You decide to:
A.Find something to shield your eyes and search for Celia in the plains
B.Rest here for a while and recover your strength before searching for Celia
C.Rest here until dark before searching for Celia
D.Set up a defense and wait for the snake
E.Other

Hmm i guess D with a mix of E if the sun is still out you should look at it to get your hunter eyes and try to spot to see if you can see Celia or the snake so you can be prepared also try and tend to the wounds for you and Hector while you have your defence set up.

Although it's probably not best to stick around because of both the incoming snake and the unknown state of Celia, I'm trying to weigh the option of resting to regain some of the lost HP...If she is still with the bird, it could be beneficial to wait until nightfall, but the snake could catch up by then. I deduce A so we make use of the sunlight we do have while we have it, but have a veil for when it is necessary.

i'm going with Xenon deduction of A. making use the able sunlight seems logical, plus the addition of another cool gear seems to good to pass.

Not wanting to waste time, you decide the best course of action would be to search for Celia. You poke your head out of the sea of trees for an instant. Even though it should be a little pass midway of the afternoon, the sunlight still burns brightly and your sight is once more enhanced. You look back and notice that the large snake is still a fair distance off. It took you an hour to run hear without King Kong and you deduce the snake is moving at 75% of your speed. "That might change once it readies itself to strike," you say to yourself.
"Exactly," says Hector still in Kong's arms. "Snake's move faster when they actually prepare to strike, hunt, or are excited."
"We'll be out of here in no time," you tell Hector. "Kong, take care of Hecotr while I fashion something for my eyes."
You grab some of the large leaves and branches to fashion yourself an umbrella. As you find another branch you ready to carve into a wooden spear with the sharp stone, an idea hits you. You pull out the three sharp stones and use vines to tie them to three different branches. Once you are finished, you return to Hector and give one of the spears to him. "Stone spears?" he questions. "I won't deny that these will be deadlier, but they're a lot less reliable. They're probably good for a throw or two before the vines snap upon impact with a target and the stone has to reattached to the wood."
"I know," you reply. "But that won't matter if the thing we're throwing it at is dead now will it? Kong, grab Hector. We're moving out to the planes."

You venture forth pass the trees and get King Kong to carry your make-shift umbrella. Besides the occasional large rock jutting out from the thick green grass, there is nothing that stands out in the plains. It seems devoid of life with the exception of winged creatures and large bugs flying and zipping pass you. You venture forth for hours until the sun already begins to set. You realize that the plains are quite large and that the island was definitely much larger then you had first believed. In fact, you notice from the distance that there is another large forest and mountains behind that. "Hey Hector," you say. "this island's huge. There's patches of forest scattered all across this plain and I see two mountain ranges in front and to the right of us."
"Looks like we underestimated its size," says Hector. "I'm fine now Kong, you can put me on your back."
"Careful, you're still pretty burned."
"Burned," says Hector. "But not in enough pain to be useless. Still, I shouldn't risk over exerting myself."
"We've been on these plains for hours and I haven't seen a crash site from the bird thing or any signs of Celia," you say.
"Where could she have gone?" asked Hector. "Well if she made it unscathed after the crash, she might have run off to one of the closer forests. Maybe we should check there?"
"Good suggestion," you say as you decide to:
A.Ignore Hectors advice and keep searching in the plains
B.Heed Hector's advice and search the forest
C.Split up and get King Kong and Hector to search in the plains while you go into the forest

Man, has this been a Hectic week.
Yo take Hector's advice and navigate King Kong to the closest patch of forest. By this time, there is more darkness than sun so you put away your makeshift umbrella. As you continue your way towards the forest, you quickly jolt your head back upon hearing a noise. "What is it?" Hector asks. "What do you sense?"
"Over there," you say pointing out about a good mile give or take behind you. "I can see the grass parting."
"My eyes aren't as good as yours," says Hector. "But I believe you."
You get King Kong to quicken the pace a little as you continue towards the forest. After half an hour or so, you reach the outskirts where the grass is slowly transitioning to dense foliage. You look at the ground and notice a scuff in the earth. You jump off of King Kong and investigate to find a single footprint. "Might be Celia," you say.
"Or it could be another person altogether," says Hector. "The datapad does say that their are still five survivors. That means there're two more people out there surviving in this hell hole."
"True," you agree with Hector before examining the footprint closer. "This foot print seems a little big to be Celia's. Don't take my word completely, but this might not be hers."
"So what now?" asks Hector. "Do we continue the search somewhere else, or do we follow this lead?"
"Hmmmm..." you contemplate as you decide to:
A.Split up and search the fields and the forest simultaneously
B.Split up and try two search a nearby forest as well as the current one you're in
C.Stick with this lead and search the forest together
D.Abandon this lead and search somewhere else together
