You chuck the other spear towards the creature and it sinks into its chest. You are then hit from the side and you feel teeth sink into your arm as another creature assaults you from the left. You fall to the ground and see more coming out of from every direction. You kick one that is about to bite you and punch another before you are swarmed. They start gnawing and biting as you struggle to keep them off of you. You reached out to one of the dead creatures and grab the spear lodged in its body. You rip it out and sink it right into the head of the one on top of you. You kick the other two off your legs and violently elbow the two biting your arms. You sit up and an thrust the spear forward towards one of the jumping creatures before running for the other spear. As you reach it, you kick one that attempts to bite your leg as you rip the spear out of the carcass. You point them towards the animals which now surround you in a cirlce. They continue to jump out of the thicket and there numbers seems endless. There must be at least a dozen or two circling you with a few more jumping out of the shrubbery. From here you:
A.Try to break through the circle and run
B.Say "I don't have time for this, do I have to make the first move?!"
C.Hold your ground and fight them off
D.Yell for help

You continue to stare the creatures down as they circle around you. Your eyes scan the area and find an opening. You throw a spear at one and rip it out just as quick as you run pass it. You look back only once and see them hot on your heels. You see your camp from a distance and you sprint with all your might. Hector is starting a fire and Celia is making more spears. "GUYS!!!" you scream. "HELP!!!" They both immediately notice you and hector begins chucking spears hitting the creatures behind you. "Ready the Wall!" screams Hector as he runs out to meet you. Celia Starts torching one of the wooden spears into the fire as Hector reaches you. He grabs your hand and drags you back behind the fence. "NOW!!!" he screams. Celia tosses the flaming spear at the spiked fence. As some of the creatures get impaled, the rest are set aflame as the dead leaves around the fence ignite into a blazing fire. "Are you alright?" Hector asks.
"I'm fine," you answer.
Hector starts laughing, "And you say you're just an ordinary man! No ordinary man could have survived that!"
Celia and Hector start laughing as you sit yourself on your bedroll. You:
A.Catch your breath until the datapad announces you of the second test
B.Make sure there're no other ways for those creatures to get in
C.Help carve out more wooded spears to repair the fence
D.See if you can find a way to treat your wounds

You look at the raging fire mesmerized before snapping back into reality. "Come here," you here Celia say. "Let me take a look."
You approach her and let her take a look at your wounds. You look around and notice a multitude of colors. "Damn," you say. "I looked at the fire too long."
"That's the least of your worries," says Celia. "But your jacket and baggy pants saved your life. The wounds aren't deep, let me just see what I can do."
"I forgot," you say. "It should be winter at Earth right now."
"Where I come from, it never snows," says Celia.
"Same with me," adds Hector. "I've seen those things before, they're Hide Wolves. They hunt by scent and are definitely not from these parts. They are also not that aggresive unless..."
"That substance they sprayed on us," you say. "It must be some kind of pheromone."
"These creatures are usually used by hunters," says Hector. "They're testing us out."
"Like a pre-test before the actual second test?" you ask as you rub your eyes. "It's getting worse. I can hardly see now. All I see are colors."
"How's that possible?" asks Celia. "You just looked at the fire for a short while."
You look away and face the tree root the colors obscuring your vision. After a few seconds, they begin to take shape. Everything is now in different shades of grey. You look carefully at the tree root and see bits of red. You then realize that the bits of red are moving."They're behind the root, they're trying to dig through!" you say.
"What?" questions Celia. "How do you know that?"
Hector's face lights up as he stares at you. "Now I understand," he says. "You are a natural hunter Paris."
"What do you mean?" you and Celia ask.
"I'll ecplain later," answers Hector. "First, we need to take action."
A.Climb up the tree
B.Run through the fire and make a break for it
C.Hold your ground and fight them off
D.Get Hector to explain what he means

"Here," says Hector standing at the base of the tree. "I'll give you guys a boost." You and Celia comply and you begin to climb up the tree. Celia looks down and notices the hide wolves trying to dig underneath the roots. "You were right Paris," she says. "But how?"
"It's Synesthesia," answers Hector. "They say it's what separates a good hunter from a perfect one. I wouldn't be surprised if the hunters on this island all had it."
"What the hell is Synesthesia?" you ask as you climb.
"It's a very, very rare birth defect," answers Hector. "It allows you to see in four colors similar to a bird instead of the normal typical blue, green, and red as humans see in. It's what gives them such impressive eye sight and senses. You should consider yourself lucky, through out the years, the defect has degraded from 1 in every 100,000,000 births to every 1 in every 500,000,000. To have such an ability is a blessing. It might just give us an edge."
"How do you know that?" you ask.
"Well, it's already helepd us multiple times," answers Hector. "All your hunches came true for example. You tend to hear noises and smell things better than me and Celia. For examle, you managed to smell whatever they sprayed on us when we were initially dropped. Niether of us can. The best part however is you being able to see in four spectrums. The full unison of colors allows you to see the unseen. In addition, it's like having mood ring eyes. Since the body uses heat to portray emotions, we will always know if someone is trying to deceive us now."
"But why did it only work today?" asks Celia.
"Simple," answers Hector. "The only way for it to work is if enough light reflects of of his eyes for a certain priod of time. It, also only seems to last but a moment because he can see fine now. That's an impossibility on Aarh since it's clouded with pollution and down here in the jungle where there's barely any sunlight."
You finally reach a flat surface. You look down and see the wolves trying to claw their way up but failing. You:
A.Throw what spears you have down at them
B.Ignore them and rest here until the the datapd informs you of the second test
C.Ignore them and keep traveling via trees
D.Ignore them and reset camp in the flat surface of the tree

"We have to keep moving," you say. "These trees are large enough for us to travel on them and some of the branches intertwine so there shouldn't be too big a problem finding a path."
"Agreed," Celia and Hector say in unison. You then spend the next few hours using the trees as a means of passage. You look and see what you managed to salvage. You have a few spears, no more than half a dozen strapped to your back. Hector is carrying the bedrolls he made from the tree leaves on his back and Celia is carrying a vine woven sack of the soft root fruit. "How much do we have supply wise?" you ask.
"About enough for a day or two," answers Celia.
"We should set up camp here for now," says Hector. "We've been traveling or a good amount of time and this flat surface in the tree is perfect. Plus, it's wedged in between these large tree branches. It's just like a tree version of our original camp."
"I'll see what I can find on the surface," says Celia jumping towards a vine. "I'm the fastest so leave it to me."
"I'll reset camp" says Hector. "Paris, you're still injured. Just sit still for now."
You sigh before complying. You lean yourself against the tree and the datapad on your arm as well as on Hectors begins to flash red. Hector just ignores it choosing to continue setting up camp You decide to:
A.Datapad be damned, ignore it
B.Look at what it has to say
C.Inform Hector and look at it together
D.Wait until celia gets back and look at it with the entire group

You look at the device on your arm. Much like before, words begin to appear once more. It reads: "Welcome once again brave warrior. If you are reading this, then you are one of the 9 survivros left after the Hide Wolf attack. That was a test to see who is truly worthy for the second test. There are 6 hunters on this island each with their own beloved pray they wish to hunt. They have each brought one of their desired pray to be set loose upon the island. The scond test involves you being used as prey for the prey. These creatures are extremely talented hunters themselves and you will serve as their prey for the next three days. When all of you have died, then the real hunt will begin. And do not attempt to escape. They will always know where you are due to the substance that was sprayed on your body. Should you survive pass this point, then consider yourself honored to be hunted by the hunters themselves." You look at the last few words as they scroll by with bitter disgust. As you are about to tell Hector, a noise interrupts you. You look around and notice Hector did not hear it. You continue to search and find nothing. You do however notice a patch of light. You decide to:
A.Ignore it and tell Hector
B.Keep searching the area cautiously
C.Step into the patch of light
D.Shout "Who's there?"

Sorry guys, I spent all Saturday and Sunday with the girlfriend. No worries though, I'm back!
"Do you here that?" you ask Hector.
"No," he says as he continues to fix the tents. You look around cautiously and notice nothing. Even so, the sound continues to bother you. It's as if there is something very light footed in proximity of your camp and you just can't see it. You look at the edge of the tree and freeze. You stare at it for a long while before deciding to hazard a look. As you slowly make your way to the edge, you lean forward slightly and peek. You see nothing. You stick your head out and take a better look to the same effect. A wave of relief quickly follows and you walk back towards Hector. "It was nothing after all," you say. The device on your arm flashes and you look at it. It reads: "Remaining Survivors: 5; Remaining Creatures: 6; Time Until True Hunt: 71:47:23; Longest Survivor Record: 16:23:27" As you finish looking at your arm and back at Hector, your eyes open in shock. A gigantic eye the size of a plate appears behind Hector. As you point, Hector turns around and disappears. You then see blood dripping from midair before quickly moving away and disappearing. You here the noise continue to circle you. You decide to:
A.Hector be damned, run as fast as your legs can take you
B.Stay your ground and use your senses to fight it
C.Step into the light and use your sight
D.Randomly throw spears and hope you hit with one
