City of Fakku rp ( Episode 1 started)

.... Ah screw it, let's see what happens with this, shall we?

Backstory : On December 1st, 2006, the city of Fakku was founded in Japan, meant as a landing for the huge influx of immigrants looking to live out their anime/gaming-inspired dream of living in Japan. Since then, a small town has evolved into a huge city bustling with life and citizens from literally every part of the world and all walks of life.



Setting: The city itself is just like any other city in Japan, being packed with zaney characters and events-thus many of its inhabitants often find themselves sucked into a strange adventure of some sort. The city has several districts like the forums here:

Media District: Pretty much where all the radio and TV stations operate from. Shows such as 'Serious Discussion' and Incoherent Babbling are produced here.

Government District: This is where City Hall, City Courthouse and some other government agencies are located. The Fakku airport and Customs department is also located here.

Red-light district: Another feature of Fakku City is its bustling Hentai and escort industries. Just about every sexual thing can be found in this district; from love hotels to porn studios and sex shops. But be careful; Much of Fakku city's criminal element is known to operate here.

Residential district: A bit quieter than the rest of Fakku City, this is where most of the apartments are. This part of town is also where the schools are, so it's quite common to see students around here. Among the typical primary, middle, high school and college are also specialized schools such as a magic school. This district also has some refutable hotels for tourists

Commerce district: This part of town is where many of the shops, including the Fakku City mall is located. The Mall is a towering twenty-story building including a small amusement park that hosts a roller coaster and ferris wheel, several restaurants and shopping outlets.

Financial district: This part of town has a lot of banks and Japan's end of the stock market, known to American immigrants as 'Japanese Wall Street'. Place has a lot of corporate and goverment buildings that couldn't be placed in the Governmental District. You'll definitely see a lot of salary men here, as well as some of Fakku's seedier elements.

Plot: Now, this is something new I wanted to try for this rp. There is no plot... Well, at least in the traditional sense, anyway. Instead, the 'plot' occurs in an episode-by-episode basis.

This is how it works: One episode begins with it's plot being that various inhabitants around Fakku are disappearing for reasons that have yet to be explained and the players must find out what's happening to the city. Once this plot is resolved, another episode will begin with a new plot.

Player-specific Events: Another feature in this roleplay, besides the current episode, little player-specific events will occur. Each event will be tailored around each player or players will be based on various factors. These factors can include the player character's origin, their actions in the roleplay thus far or even completely random things.

Example: During the episode of the disappearing Fakku citizens, one player brutally interrogates a suspect, this person later returns for revenge by suing the player for their brutality.

Characters and character sheets: The player can take the form of just about anything or anyone they wish; humans, vampires, werewolves, elves, ponies, even something outrageous like a talking puddle of puke. While each character is only allowed one character to play as, they can also create as many NPCs as they need.[/color]

Rules

1. No godmodding; no you can't control other characters without their permission, you can't auto-hit and crap of that nature that comes with Godmodding.

2. Mary-Sues and perfect characters need not apply: While I encourage everyone to try to be whatever they wish, they must do so within reason. If you're an incredibly good-looking expert of everything under the sun with endless money, popularity and can solve any problem within two posts- don't bother.

3. No killing other characters without permission: This rule speaks for itself.

4. Have fun: The purpose of this is to have a more open-ended roleplay, so don't be afraid to try things out.

Other notes

I will be accepting character sheets until December 13th. The amount of slots taken will be depended on which character sheets I accept. Upon December 13th the first episode will begin. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them.

My son, why. That Fate RP is planned to be set in a Fakku city as well.

I thought Rise-chan was going to have that in a seperate roleplay.

Appearance: Has a stout body of 4'11", 212 lbs (average dwarven weight), broad shoulders, and a long beard and mustache, but is balding on top of his head. His hair and beard are red, and kept well trimmed. Has dark brown eyes, and a wide nose. Has some small gold ear rings, used as a social status by dwarves, and usually always wears a blacksmiths apron where ever he goes. He wears stout black boots, and a brown tunic, with dark woolen pants.

Occupation: Arms dealer/blacksmith

Marital Status: Single, last of kind(?).

How long have you been living in Fakku City?: 150

Bio: Born as the first son of the clan Erothknurl, he was set up to become the grimstborith. At that time, the dwarves were at war with humans, as they craved more and more land and were forcing the dwarves to extinction. When he was 37, a band of humans raided the Erothknurl stronghold located near the vicinity of Mt. Fuji. During the ensuing battle, his mother ran away and brought him to the area that is now known as Fakku City, bringing along some crucial books on the history of the dwarves and their culture and language. His mother raised and taught him, all by herself, for the rest of her life, where she died when he was 149 years old. During all the time he's lived in the area, he's never seen another dwarf, but many humans had started gathering around the lone hut his mother built for them. He still lives in that hut, in the nearby hills and woods of Fakku City, working on his forge, or going into Fakku City to sell his masterclass weapons to the citizens there. He always wears his favorite war axe at his side, even though he never learned how to hate anyone, and is usually really receptive to those willing to strike up a conversation, but should one ask about his life, be prepared for a long story.

Weapon of choice: War Axe, made from the metal found in a meteorite that landed near his house some 100 years ago.

Personality: Anne has a superiority complex and is always thinking - or at least trying to - that that she is superior than all else excluding those from the higher-classed society. Little does she know that she know that there are others who are greater than her in actuality. She can be rude, lecherous, and non-hesitant. But she does lack confidence in herself.

Background: Anne was born and raised in English until the age of 12, Anne moved to Fakku City after turning 12, being Closet Otaku, she just had to go and live there, even after her staff of maids and servants tried to stop her and lives under her mansion, which is not very big under the standards of the wealthier families, Anne didn't had all that much money for a bigger mansion either.

She was taught to be sophisticated and was taught of her superiority as being born under a family from the higher-classed society. She is a witty, lecherous and a person who seeks to find amusement in other peoples' foolishness. She also has a nicer side to her. But she finds it to be her weaker side, for which she feels the need to conceal it up to some extent, and thus she's either viewed to be a silent beauty at school, or an evil witch.

Anne is in no way a perfect young lady, as one would like to think that way from first glance. Though, her exceptional beauty should be well noted. Due to the concern for her image in the society and the prying eyes of people; she likes to be very sophisticated and well-mannered and has an air of mystery - which sometimes drives closer people away from her; giving rise to loneliness.

Anne is devoid of the feeling of love and affection, always following her self-righteous path but failing to get what she desires. Anne avoids "love" itself. Thinking that it's a curse for her, since the death of her parents at early age. Anne's heart shattered after their death, the money and property that came down to her hands was not of importance to her, she didn't care enough about it at first. But kept it anyway, thinking of it as her father's "hard work" and didn't wanted it to fall onto someone unfamiliar's hands.

From not being able to do any normal chores, to cooking and cleaning, to even being bad at using computers and laptops for good reasons other than using the internet, she definitely lacks many types of skills. Anne's body is quite fragile, and is bad with hot objects as she can't even hold a hot cup of tea directly unless holding by it's handle. She can only be strong through magic, without it; she's useless and nothing more than a blabbermouth.

Weapon: A katana which is long in length. She is only average at using it at this age. But her body is weak and she lacks stamina, adding the length and heaviness of her weapon, she gets tired quickly sometimes.

I kind of see a flaw in your profile. In the story, Fakku city was made on December 1st 2006 and I'm assuming the timeline in this RP is the same year that we are in IRL. So, unless the GM says we're in, like, the year 2156 or something, I don't think your character would have been in Fakku city that long. . . just saying. . .

I'll accept it since in this character's case he was living in the area Fakku was founded upon before the start of the story. If anything, we could just say his residency is five years
