Crusaders RP [Deliberating]

No one has shown any interest in this RP so please disregard everything you've read here.
So yeah, ever since I've started RPing in this forum, I've always had thoughts about making my own RP. Of course, at the time, I didn't think I was experienced enough to make my own RP.
Anyway, 3 and a half RPs later, I feel like I've gotten the gist of RP mechanics so I felt "What the heck, let's give it a shot."
The scenario of this RP is based a few years or so into the future. Kind of religion based in a sense that there are three dominating religions that have control over certain regions of the world and are constantly fighting each other on war fronts for control.
This idea kind of popped into my head when I read/watched Hellsing and a few "Medieval knight" style movies. The main idea was meant to be a holy crusade but in modern times and warfare. Eventually it to this:

The 22nd Islamic Council should at least be referred to as a Caliphate, if I am to interpret the group you mention as a united Islamic community. Secondly, while I love Hellsing as much as the next guy (Hellsing IX where the fuck are you), naming the Vatican group Section XIII Iscariot is literally copying what Hellsing did. The same thing can be said for the Order of Protestants. And while imitation may be the sincerest form of flattery, it speaks negatively of you as a writer if you cannot create original material from inspiration, and instead copying what inspired you.
Giving the Vatican a military for a Crusade is good; naming them Section XIII Iscariot is bad. If you want help writing up a plot, setting, what have you. Contact me on Skype (assuming you're still in the same Nova chat room) or on here and we can get a share document going. I'm a good guy to bounce ideas off of.

Yeah, I couldn't think of a name for them at the time so I just left it like that. As I said, I still need to work on this before it is anywhere near ready.
EDIT: Okay, I took your suggestions and, after a long brain strain, made some names although personally I don't really think they stick well.

Well the great thing about being in beta status is that shit changes all the time. Keep going over it, write it out using it in a few sentences and see how it feels until you get the feeling like it just clicks. It can take a long time, but you'll know it when it happens. Would you rather chat about this? Works better for brainstorming if you use IM, at least that's what I think.

Actually, I thought up of a basic concept for a part of the RPs mechanic.
If a player gets captured by an opposing force, they will go through a capture phase. During this phase, they will be interrogated and have a chance, if they want to, to defect to the other force. If not, they will either be released, depending on the situation, or executed. The time between the announcement of their execution and the time of execution will be 24 hours IRL in which if there is a player on the captured player's side, they can attempt to rescue them.
This kind of takes quite a bit from the upcoming RP, Freedom Faction. I'll try working a bit more on this for now.

Oh a straight from the Freedom Faction but the general setting is kinda cool. So are we supposed to take sides in this RP?

@Damien, yes, you take sides. Either the Protestants, Vatican or the Orthadox, there is also a choice to be freelance as well, working independantly (I imagine a lot of people would pick this choice)

Hmm, I just wrote a few details about the three powers. This is about their manpower.
The United Knights of the Protestant Order, due to their casualties during the 10th Holy Crusades, is a relatively small force. They're numbers are almost near enough to rival the VASA but most of their numbers are from small resistance groups in Vatican controlled countries and hired mercenary groups, only a small fraction of their force is of their official military. What they lack in manpower, they gain in subtlety. The Protestant Knights are specialized in guerilla tactics, stealth and deception.
The VASA have a considerable amount of manpower. However, like the Protestant Knights, they've suffered casualties during the Crusade and their army is nearly no match against the Orthodox Union in terms of manpower. Their military force is comprised of many nationalities and cultures which sometimes makes it hard for them to communicate. VASA has the largest R&D groups and most advanced military technology, sporting 5th generation MBTs and other equipment. A more well-rounded force.
The Orthodox Union's numbers overwhelm the other two combined. They control a large amount of Asia and Eastern Europe, giving them a large military force comprised mainly of China, Russia and Korea. Many of their troops are conscripts and are poorly trained, their weapons aren't quite advanced and are meant to be cost-effective and easy to produce. Equipment overall is lacking in quality but gains in quantity.
Thats about it, I'll write up some more later.

With a RPs here and there, the chances are getting bigger in having RP's own section. But it needs a lot of convincing for Jacob to be persuaded.

Thanks, this idea has been stuck in my head ever since I watched Hellsing and some random crusades movie (can't remember the title)
The original idea was to write a story about the 10th Holy Crusade and Vatican forces but I eventually expanded it and decided to make an RP of it. Maybe I'll write about the 10th Holy Crusade as a sort of prologue if this turns out well.
