Crusaders RP [Deliberating]

Affiliated/Aligned Players: - Aligned players are players who are affilated with one or more of the three forces and works under one of them.

- These players have their own personal unit that they control and can customise.

- Aligned players will fight alongside other players with the same alignment, working together in Battle Phase to defeat the enemy force who will also have aligned players of that force.

- Aligned players can only travel around countries that are controlled by their own force (unless they are resistance in which case they'll be limited to traveling)

- Aligned players start off with standard issue weapons which will vary depending on their force and will be able to customise their loadout later in the future.

Unaffiliated/Independent Players: - Independant/Unaffilated players are players who act independantly and have no affilation with any of the 3 forces.

- These players do not control their own personal unit and are only given a temporary unit when they work under one of the forces.

- Unaffiliated players can be hired by one of the forces to work under them during one of the battles. These players can also contact the general of either forces and offer their services for the battle. Player and General can both decide to decline.

These players are payed more than aligned players when they work under a force but get a lower pay when working independantly, however, when working independantly, they are given secondary objectives that they can accomplish to accumulate more pay. These objectives often include disrupting the movements of aligned player's units in some form.

- Unaligned players rely more on their own skill and less on the tact use of units on the battlefield. They're often deployed via airdrops by their client or, if they're working under a force, are deployed with the rest of that force.

During battles that do not include an aligned player's force, the aligned player can join the battle like an unaffiliated player.

Unaffiliated players will usually have no relation of any sort with any of the force (unless you specify differently in your profile) meaning that they're able to travel practically anywhere around the world.

Unaffiliated players don't start off with standard issue weapons but weapons randomly chosen by the GM based on the player's profile, most likely being a 9mm weapon unless the players role makes him necessary to start off with a specific kind of weapon.

- Players that are part of resistance groups the same priveleges of unaffiliated players but are not able to travel and will usually start with weaker weapons.

Player Stats: Players are given stats and a set amount of stat points to go into 5 different fields. There is Endurance, Strength, Intelligence, Charisma and Dexterity.

Putting points on Endurance will allow you to fight for longer. Take more damage and whatnot

Putting points on Strength will increase your damage rate with weapons.

Putting points on Intelligence will increase your accuracy with firearms and chances of scoring criticals.

Putting points on Charisma will increase the morale of your forces and give them a stat boost.

Putting points on Dexterity will increase your chances of avoiding damage.

The world is in a state of disorder. The human race grows disharmonious as tension between religions, races and nations grow. The late year of 2012 took a turn for worse when across the world, religious protests began to grow out of hand. 2013 was the turning point when protest groups in Israel stormed a government building in the middle of an international conference, killing many of the world leaders attending along with other casualties.

The world goes into frenzy as leaderless countries begin to segregate and independent groups form religious frontiers, splitting countries into multiple territories based on religion. Substitute governments aren't enough to bring the people together and soon after, many countries become broken. Nations disappear and now religion is the dominant system of rule. However, it is not until the newly elected 22nd Islamic Caliph in 2014 that this began.

The year 2014 saw the emergence of the first religious empire, the Islamic Federation, that swore to protect it's Muslim followers abroad from the 'evils of false gods' thus creating a religious military force called the IPA (Islamic Protection Army) an army designed to protect the followers of Islam. By mid June of 2014, the IE mobilize their army, heading westwards into Europe. Independent religious territories are hopeless to fight against the organized invasion of the IPA.

It is only by late July, when the IPA take over the Baltic regions when the Vatican suddenly declares war on the IE, mobilizing its secretly built army, the VASA (Vatican adunatum sub armis). Compared to the VASA, an army which has been secretly been trained since the fall of government, the IPA were fighting a losing battle and were slowly being pushed out of the Baltic, all the while, Europe was gradually becoming united under Vatican rule as messengers travelled across to the independent territories and joining them into the Vatican, whether they agreed to or not.

By the end of 2014, the IPA were in full retreat with the VASA hot on their tail. This came to be known as the 10th Holy Crusade. However, while the Vatican had focused all its military manpower on the East, it had left the Western side exposed. In early 2015, another empire came into emergence, the Protestant Order comprised of North America and Britain. While they did not have an organized force, they urged all Protestant believers in Europe to form resistance groups, sabotaging supplies and performing raids on the VASA's camps. The Vatican had to stop its advance on Islamic territory and shift a portion of it's forces to subdue the Protestant resistance groups.

In early December 2015, all empires came to a halt, the Vatican holding it's place in mainland Europe and its border just past the Baltic Countries. The Protestant Order organized it's own force, the KOTO (Knights of the Order) who were still very under armed compared to the two other empires. The Islamic Federation held its territories in the Middle East and slowly took control of what was formerly India.

Enter January 2016, the world has changed. The past governments and nations have fallen, in their stead are three religious empires, the Islamic Federation of the Middle East, the Vatican of Mainland Europe and the Protestant Order of America and Britain. There are still a few small groups of neither faith, one of the larger ones being the Occult, a group of fanatics who practice dark arts and the supernatural. Along with them are independent groups of Atheists who hide underground or in untouched territories like parts of Asia, South America and Africa.

This year is the turning point, only one empire will remain by the end of this and it all depends on you, the players.
