Mira signed due to the two, a sudden exposure of explanations which could be done later in leisure... this was definitely not the time for that. "Eden, please keep your questions for later."

After Ling opened the door Mira. Mira walked forward and boarded the black sedan.

"Yes, yes. I think some of that gas got to me.", Eden said as she sat down on the ground. "Is that other sedan for us then Ling?"

I nod to Eden, "Affirmative, that sedan will take you a few buildings away from headquarters, we'll meet you there shortly for a debrief after we attend to one thing." I give a single wave to them as I enter the car, I lean up to the front and tell the driver. "To the designated point." The driver nods and drives out of the factory grounds onto the main road, proceeding to their destination.

As Lex followed on silently, he could feel his light-headedness assaulting him. Must be the gas....Fuck! Lex swore in his head as he walked with unstable steps. He didn't sit like Eden did but instead walked on towards the sedan.

He collapsed as he tried to get in through the door. He could feel his consciousness going further until he blacked out completely.

"Ugh. I guess I have to go follow him, and get into the sedan. I wish I could have been the one to go with Ling.", Eden says as she puffs out her cheeks like a kid and frowns. Eden continues to mumble to herself, as she gets up and walks over to the sedan. "Little buggers asleep already. Might as well do the same.", Eden says as she takes a seat and falls asleep.

Markus complied and went into the taxi. After a quick drive, both Ling and I made it to the heliport. Ling went out first and went to meet with the others when they arrived. I on the other hand took a quick stretch before I followed suite. Once together, I made a quick check if I forgot anything, meanwhile Ling and the others discussing about the helicopter being left in the care to a Jon; while the rest of us were to ahead to a new location for a special assignment via sedan. I sighed in boredom and tried to keep myself awake as we headed towards the new location.

Mira had a good time relaxing herself on the sedan after boarding it with Ling. Though she was quite energetic anyway; full of energy. She looked around the scenery that the car went past throughout her time on the vehicle, and kept a keen eye on which roads that were taken in order to have them reach the safehouses.

Once reached, Ling simply pointed to Mira which safehouse she needed to enter. And she then walked for it and entered. To her mere surprise, there was a typewriter, totally abandoned. Jon was probably here, writing messages. Mira decided to inspect it, she wouldn't be called out here for nothing.

Mira then stumbled upon her message; a letter. All it stated was the following:

"Congratulations on successfully infiltrating the heliport and for bringing the helicopter to one of our 'corporate sponsors'. Inside the desk drawer, you will find a new ink well for the typewriter, as well as a single sheet of paper. As my most trusted field officer, I trust you to create a list of four individuals, who you see fit to become members of the Special Tasks Alpha Cell. You will receive orders in this format. Type out your list and leave it in the typewriter

Mira read it within her mind, silently. She then looked around the room. Indeed there was an ink well and a sheet of paper for her to make list on. Mira walked towards them, then wrote down the names.

She wrote:

List of four individuals to become a member of the Special Tasks Alpha Cell are:

- Adrian
- Eden
- Markus
- Lex

Mira then puts the paper on the typewriter and leaves the place, and gets back to Kei.

I wait for Mira to finish up, even I didn't know what Jon had going on in there. All he told me was to take Mira there and then that's it. As I contemplated on this, I noticed Mira coming back. "So you're done?" I ask her rhetorically. I open the door to the sedan for her and continue. "We'll meet the team back at the headquarters and give a debrief."

I sit, leaning against the other door with my arms folded and staring out the window. "Driver, you know where to next."

"Yes, I'm done," Mira then paused to listen to Ling, and made a response, "Okay, let's go then."

Mira got boarded the sedan once again.

We drive off from the safehouse, the ride back to the headquarters took around half an hour and the sedan dropped us off a few buildings away from the headquarters. I open the door, step out and stretch my arms to regain circulation which I had lost during the uneventful ride. I turn my head to my right and look towards a back alleyway, turning back to Mira, I tell her. "That would be the same alleyway we entered last time."

I wait for her to exit the vehicle before I proceed to the alleyway.

((OCC: What time is it in the story?))

(It ought to be around midnight by the course of events that took place... I think...)

"Same alleyway we entered?" Mira asked. She then exited the sedan, looking around her surroundings.

I head into the alleyway, giving Mira a gesture to follow. I go in through the same way we went before to reach that sickly green room. I set my case with all my equipment down at the weapon racks and hang my BDU top, it was around midnight but for some reason it felt quite hot inside.

"Okay then, debriefing now." I say giving a gesture to Mira for her to start off

((OOc: so we are discussing the outcomes of our last mission))

Mira walks into the alleyway and then to their destination along with Ling.

After Ling's announcement, Mira started to speak, "So, we got hawk and handed it over to the 'sponsors'. Lex and Eden were supposed to breach into the control room, I believe. I'm not sure how they fared. All of us were late in capturing the hawk but we survived... except for Darren, I wonder if he's alright, the gas might have killed him," Mira had cold eyes on her.

She continued, "By the way, Ling, good job and thank you for the support, it saved most of my dress from getting tattered!" Mira complimented.

((OOC: So they have sponsor.. mhmm, I can cook up something interesting [only spoiler: it involves some people in high places])).

(OOC: do it prematurely and there's a 90+ % chance of your character dying. The "sponsors" are more powerful than the US Gov't to be honest and there's only 1 power that is decidedly more powerful than they are.)

Bringing up his command tablet, he noticed that he had recieved a message.

With a several quick taps of the screen with the stylus, he read the message.

He then typed, but took the time to look around, giving the appearance of taking inventory.

His commander, Friedman, called his attention and asked, "How many VTOLs have been assigned to our taskforce?"

"By my current inventory sir," with a quick swipe of the screen, he brought up the inventory log, "we have around 150."

Before he could turn, the commander asked, "How about the regular transport helicopters and combat helicopter?"

A micro-expression of annoyance appeared on his face, but the commander did not seem to notice it, and he once again answered politely, "We have 100 combat helicopters and 40 transport, but one has not arrived yet."

"Why?"

"Repair," then he continued, "Some issues with the rotor apparently, sir."

"I see."

Suddenly, the commander then walked away and proceeded to inspect some of the medical kits.



He then sent the message.

It read:

"The rain drops start to fall."

"Well, it would seem that we accomplished most of our objectives, though things didn't really go as planned, we lost one man. I, personally, would count that as a failure, having a casualty, but in all other fields this was pretty much a success." I say in response to Mira. I sighed and blanked out for a moment before setting up my laptop on an open desk. After logging on, the screen shows a map of the area with three red dots pointed at seperate buildings and one blue dot at another building insside the triangle made by the three. Clearing my throut, I project the map image onto a empty piece of wall and continue on.
