When Lex heard the loud bang, he saw the fumes and thought Oh shit. Damn it. It's that fucking walking Bio weapon! I'm going to murder that asshole later! Lex figured out Schanze's involvement right away. Schanze always used chemical and toxic weapons not caring for the life and death of comrades.

"Damn it, get a move on Eden! We're not gonna make it if we don't get out in five minutes!"

Lex took out a flashbang and threw behind him before throwing a smoke grenade in front to cover their front. Lex rushed into the smoke and got out near Mira. Seeing Darren's absence, Lex asked.

"Where's Darren? We've gotta to get outta here, NOW! That fucker Schanze is here. That smoke is toxic, we'll all be dead meat if we don't move."

Mira, already up on the hawk... "Darren was supposed to be at the entrace of the hanger in order to guard! Also, some C5 explosives have been planted here, please take them off of this or else we're screwed!" Mira answered.

((There is no C-5 as far as I know. And C-4 is the most current deadliest placed bomb I know of, other than warheads. If Kei says otherwise, I won't argue.))

Eden ran out of the smoke behind Lex and her the last part of what Mira said.

"Yeah, I can do that. It might take a minute, and that's cutting it close.", Eden said as she ran over to where the C-4 was placed and started to delicately disarm the explosives. She didn't have time to think things through fully, and just went with what her intuition, from when she received explosives training, told her. Soon enough, Eden threw away the useless C-4 explosives.

"We should get going now, yes?", Eden said mockingly.

"We don't have any more time left, if you guys can't see Darren anywhere around, hop on immediately!" Mira announced.

Lex seeing the oncoming soldiers took the last flashbang and threw at the horde of soldiers blinding them and shot at them before going on the heli.

"Let's get a move on. We can't afford to wait for him." Lex ordered Eden and Mira.

((ooc: as far as I know of, there is no such thing as C-5 explosives but since this is set in the future, I assumed that Ex was making it up for setting))

I smirk at the sight of the team boarding the chopper, well most of them at least. It seemed that Darren was captured last I saw him and Mira has no intention of waiting for him. I guess they understood that the gas had been released. I withdraw my smirk, packing my equipment into my guitar case and pack my laptop into its bag. I open the door and leave the flat, stopping outside and looking back to Schanze, I say "See you at the debriefing."

I shut the door and make my way down to the bottom floor, sending a message to all in the assault team but Darren,

"Good work everyone, take the heli to a factory approx. 35km NNE from the heliport, you'll be signalled once you reach it, we'll dicuss what we're doing next afterwards."

And then send a message to Markus,

"We're done here, leave the building from the back exit, I'll be there to take you to the meeting point."

I exit the building and sharply whistle to call a taxi, luckily I catch one right away. I climb into the backseat, the driver turns back to me and I tell him "To the Avoca street hotel." he gives a nod and begins to drive off.

"Gotcha, hop on you two!" Mira said, after which the other two got on the hawk. And then she took the aircraft off the land.

After getting up on the air up to some extent, Mira's cell phone vibrated as Ling's message came through, and so did the phones of others. Mira gave it a quick read while keeping an eye on the land at the same time, and then decided to the go for the factory heliport.

((OOC: Yes. I'm thinking very Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon here. C-5 is no different than the explosive power of C-4, the only difference is that it is non-toxic [safe to ingest, has no toxic fumes]))

Crouched in a ditch with his men and their captive, Kim could see the chaos brought about by the absense of this man. The C-5 which he had planted were duds, only placed to confuse the enemy (C-5 does exist though), so there was no real loss of good military resources.

Kim turned to his men, and said on the squad com, "Resume open radio contact."

He then turned to check on the man's body, and striped it of anything that might be useful for an escape. He only had a wallet, his Five-Seven sidearm (which he disarmed in a professional manner), a knife and a couple of magazines for his primary and secondary, and a cellphone.

He made a mental note to pass it to his superior, and then, using his wrist console, typed in the keywords:

"The sky has fallen dark."

A mintue later, he recieved a coded message from command reading:

"The rain drops start to fall."

"Proceed to exfil. Rendevouz with unmarked UN truck.", he translated.

Both of his men nodded, and with a quick lift of the body, proceeded to the location.

"I wonder what's for breakfast?", asked one of his men.

"For what we did, it better be something else than standard rations.", he responded.

He then heard the helicopter lift and fly-over head, and the sound fading the farther it went.

The taxi stops in front of the hotel on Avoca, "Uh, do you mind driving over to the back alley?" I ask him, he gestures me a small wave and proceeds to the back alley.

He stops right out back, in front of the back exit of the hotel. I keep my eyes on the door and wait for Markus to come.

((OOC: I am deeply sorry for AFKing - Keirova, pls continuing AI'ing for me until the mission is over. Due to real-life issues, I won't be around on Fakku for the next few days, possibly until Tues or Wednesday. And then you'll see me more, for better or worse. Once again, thank you and sorry!))

After much action occurring in the heliport, I finish using up my last clip taking out the last of the enemies. Once done, I notice my phone vibrating and check to see it's from Ling. After the quick skim of the text, I quickly pack up what i could carry on hand and run towards the back alley through the fire escape. Once outside, I see Ling waiting for me at the back door.

Rather than go back and head down to that door, I went ahead and slid down the ladders and roughly landed in front of Ling. "Sup? Sorry for the delay man. Ready to go?"

(Ya... sorry for not posting much. have lots of tests, quizes, and other school stuff =3=;;)

((OOC: Because I don't really like short posts, I'm just gonna write that you get in the taxi))

I give a nod to Markus and open the taxi door, giving him a gesture to get in. Markus hops into the taxi and I tell the driver, "To the next address." He gives a nod and proceeds out the alleyway onto the main road.

The ride would take us around 40 or so minutes depending on traffic. Shouldn't be too bad since it's almost late night. I gaze out through the window, keeping my eye on the Black hawk.

Above 40 minutes passed since Mira started piloting the hawk. Unfortunately Darren could never get on and was left behind... oh well, he'll be remembered, perhaps, Mira thought. Mira then looked down on the sturdy earth, they've reached their destination, it seemed.

Not too long after that, Mira landed the hawk on the helipad.

We were fortunate because there was barely any traffic on the way to the industrial district so we made quite early, enough to greet the team as they landed.

I stood near the heliport with two men by my side as we watched Mira land the bird.

"Thank you for the help," Mira said, giving Ling a salute first thing after getting out of the hawk.

"Not at all, it was my job." I salute Mira back before introducing the two men who were accompanying me. "These two are Mr. Anderson and Mr. Mills, they are the owners of the factory."

The two men nod before I continue, "Jon has informed me that we are to give them custody of the helicoptor and that I am supposed to take you to one of the safehouses for a special assignment."

As Eden gets off the helicopter, she couldn't help but chime in something.

"Hey, what about us? We finished the objective. We disabled their security systems permanently.", Eden said as she walked up to Ling.

"And how do you do. I think I'm doing fine. How about you? That was some mighty fine shooting you did. Mind if you teach me sometime? How about explosives, know anything about them?", Eden started rambling on.

"It's time to meet you two," Mira greeted the two.

After listening to Ling, Mira simply replied with a "Lead the way please."

I was a bit surprised by Eden when she butted in but managed to collect myself quickly and replied back in a calm manner, "Yes, good job with that. I'm sure it'll hinder them for a while."

She started to rant on a bit, asking me a lot of questions in such quick time, it took me a while before I could get everything through. I took a breath before I answered to her. "Well, I'm quite fine, the ride here was surprisingly alright. Thank you for the compliment, if I ever have any free time, I'll try and teach you some basics. Explosives? Well, I've handled 2P and C3 explosives during my time of service."

I take a breath before continuing, I was fired up and my brain worked at full capacity, retrieving the data I had memorized and locked into my head after all those years of reading. With a smug grin on my face I continued, "2P explosives, also known as Semtex, was quite popular among the terrorist groups during the Middle Eastern war and back because it was cheaper than C4 plastic explosives and still held quite a powerful explosive yield as C4. Semtex is made mainly of Pentaerythritol tetranitrate or PETN for short which is a main component for plastic explosives.

C3 explosives consist mainly of RDX, an abbreviation for Research Development Explosive, which had vast use during the Second World War. C3 is a part of the Composition C familiy of plastic explosives, a predecessor to the Composition B explosives used in World War 2. C3 was used during the Korean war and was later on replaced with the newer C4 explosive."

I take another breath in and smirk at Eden before nodding back to Mira "Right then, these men have prepared transports for us as well as the rest of the team. I turn back and point to the two black sedans driving out of the factory warehouse. I walk over to the closest one and open the door for Mira. Looking over to the rest of the team I say "The rest of the team is to head back to our headquarters where we'll have a debrief once Mira and I get back."

I wait for Mira to board the sedan.
