But hey...let's accept that Gil is more handsome than Emiya. So, I'll lay out the reasons why GoB is better than UBW, and mind you, this doesn't include the fail battle of Shirou vs Gil, because Shirou is protected by the god of main characters...

1. UBW requires mana to activate, and more mana for every projection. GoB on the other hand requires little mana only to open it. So in a spam for all battle, I don't think Emiya just have enough him to counter all the noble phantasm shot out by Gil. He'd be a dried weed if he tries.

2. Shields? People say UBW pwns all because it has Rho Aius. But hey, who's to say GoB doesn't have any shield in it? If Gil can collect that many noble phantasm, I'm 100% certain that there are lots of shield much more awesome than Rho Aius decorating the treasure room. The only reason Gil don't use them is his pride. What kind of king uses large shields anyway? Lol, thinking about it in a reasonable way...if GoB even has flying machines, wines, burgers and many types of food inside, why would it not have shields? So going by that reasoning, the Rho Aius advantage is null in a serious battle.

3. Well, Gil is kinpika. And handsome. Gold armors too. So he wins. Not against Assassin though.

People think UBW is cool so > GoB, ignoring the fact that they both are very different with the most basic attribute. UBW is a near ten count spell reality marble that requires alot of time and mana to cast. Gate of Babylon instantly opens a portal connecting Gil's vault. By doing the spell incantation of UBW, the magus can not chant other spells in the mean time, which means GoB target practice time.

Btw how did Rho Aius came into debate? It isnt UBW, nor it needs UBW as a requirement to activate.. its a another different conceptual weapon/shield. If Rho Aius is added, it would be more like Emiya/Archer vs Gil, rather then UBW vs GoB, throw in Ea too lul.

Lol, Rho Aius comes into the debate because...they say it can block all the spam from GoB, while Gil got nothing to block the counter-spam of UBW...

also, Ea is considered part of GoB.

And yep, the issue is mainly emiya vs gil. I maintain that Gil will easily pwn Emiya if the god of main character don't interfere in the battle, and Gil being serious.

yeah lol, Gilgamesh using GoB is an evidence that he isnt serious, his stronger noble phantasm are Enkidu and Ea. Enkidu the chain to capture gods, Ea's fame to split apart heaven and earth, damages surpass the excalibur. GoB is often used because Gil has a fukken high pride and dont wanna engage personally in battle with mongrels, thats why the name job name Archer
