Looking for Judges for a contest I'd like to host.

I promised I would render some support to this upcoming contest and thus, here I am.

However, I am not signing up to be a judge. Furthermore, application is now closed.

May I suggest that the theme consists only of summer? The horror theme can be saved for another occasion, provided the thread starter or another user wishes to create another contest, particularly during the Halloween period. :)

This suggestion was made on the Fakku Writer's Lounge. And I felt that maybe Halloween may not be too good an idea. Since right after that, we get Seasonal Writing Contest. So my point is; people won't get much of a break.

Contests are still contests and are always welcome. But I'm not quite the fan of contests which takes place too soon one after the other.

Of course, this is up for discussion here, even though it's not it's original topic.

I kind of agree that a holloween contest might be a bit too close to the seasonal writing contest. To me, the seasonal writing contest is a very big highlight, and one of the reasons the contests fuel so much in me is because of how exclusive it is.

Agreed. Summer is a good theme. I don't see the need to include Halloween as well. Summer has a very wide range of topics to write after all. Beach, summer rain, ghosts and many others.

Bikinis, volleyball, beach soccer, suntan lotion, tides, waves, surfing, lost bathing suits, sex in the open air showers, and tans.
