Classes went without much of a problem until lunchtime. I went outside and sat near my favorite tree, thinking of what I should do. I decided to try calling for Kyubey, thinking that now would be the perfect time and chance to grant my wish.
"Kyubey...."
No answer.
"Kyubey.", I say a little louder.
Still no answer.
"Kyubey, Kyubey, KYUBEY, KYUBEY!!!", I yell again and again.
Silence.
"I-I don't know what's wrong. He said he would appear once I said his name....", I say, getting a little depressed.
The loud speaker pipped up, and it was the principal. He wanted me to go to his office.
"Great. What could it possibly be?", I say as I get up and head to the office.
As I walk through the halls, I hear little whispers coming from the groups of people on the side of the halls. Every time I would look at one of the groups, they would instantly shut up, just glaring at me. I sigh, trying to make my way to the office as fast as I could. I get to the office, and I sit outside on one of the chairs. I wait a little bit, and then the principal beckons me inside. I go in and take a seat. It's a very small office, and kept very neat and tidy.
"Why did you want to see me Principal-sama?", I ask in the most polite voice I can muster.
"Kyubey...."
No answer.

Haruka walked forward, crossing through the gates, she witnessed the prying eyes towards her. "I wonder if I stole the spotlight?", she thought after stopping for a second as sweat ran down the back of her head for a moment, holding a gentle smile on her face. Haruka continued to walk, taking in more of the so-dubbed 'spotlight'. Haruka's walk soon came to a halt, she then smiled at the other female student with the same, white hair, just like herself, "My, my, I didn't knew that I had something in common with someone on this school, it's rare for girls to have the same hair color as mine... or should I say, you're the first person I saw with white colored hair other than myself," suddenly, Haruka could feel the intense stares of the students, awe turned to envy, sweat ran down the back of Haruka's head again, "Oh my... ", she thought, again.
At first, Menolly didn't realize that Haruka was talking to her. She barely noticed that the other girl said anything at all, lost in the reverie of her own thoughts. The words slowly seeped in, and she was... very, very confused. "Y-you're right," she barely choked out in awe, "You're the first person I've seen with it, too," and Menolly couldn't help the smile that crawled onto her features. Despite the unnerving, piercing glares of the other students, she kept on smiling. That's... the first time someone was civil to me in a long time...
"Ah, I'm really sorry, you must not be used to speaking in such an intense atmosphere while gaining unwanted attention, we should talk more with fewer people around us, I guess," she smiled, hoping to really be able to talk her, 'you don't meet another person with white hair everyday' was the thought that fueled her desire to speak to her more, but now, she'd need to move on, she had to, or else she'd be stalling the poor girl. Thus, Haruka entered the school building, she walked through the hallways, and apparoched her class.
Menolly nodded in response to the girl's suggestion, still smiling and watched her walk away, adjusting her bag on her shoulder once more and walking to her own class. That encounter... it made her really happy. As Menolly entered her clasroom and took her seat, she mulled over the event once more in her mind. Why did Haruka talk to her? Was it only because of their shared hair colour? Or... was it something more akin to fate? Menolly shook her head, pulling out her notebook and pencils. Class was starting soon, it would be best to think about other things later. She also took out her sketchbook, opening to a new page and doodling on it, humming softly to herself as she waited for class to begin.
Haruka entered her classroom, class 2-2, she could feel the warm atmosphere, smiles of her classmates from witnessing her walk in, but some lusty smiles from the males, which she felt the need to avoid. Haruka sat down on her seat, sighed, took her notebooks, stationary, and other required items out of her bag for the classes and waited for them to start. Soon, the classes had started.
Menolly's first class was history. Even though she wasn't terribly great at it, she held a soft spot in her heart for the subject. Listening to her teacher lecture about points in time... It was something along the lines of wonderous for Menolly, as she vividly imagined herself in the situations, seeing history unfold right in front of her own two eyes. It made it much easier to listen to the material for her.
Sadly, after history was math. Math was Menolly's worst subject, the numbers and formulas blurring together in front of her most of the time. The only time she could even tolerate math was during physics, the interesting subjects and mental challenges overpowering her loathing. Looking at the clock, Menolly wished it would go faster - she oddly found herself looking forward to her break in classes for lunch. Tick, tick, tick. It never seemed to end.
The Math class had started in Haruka's class, she's great at Math, as great as she is on other subjects, such as Chemistry, History, English, etc. Her level of knowledge regarding Math was so high that she didn't even need to listen to the lectures and teachings of the teacher in the class, as he was teaching about probabilities and she had already studied about that particular concept. But Haruka forced herself to listen with the excuse of revision as she was a student of this high school.
Next came Physics class, it was a subject that used to faze even her, it was quite perplexing to her, she didn't understand why anyone would need to measure distances, speed, time, and all that, she probably didn't know due to her lack of knowledge at that time, but later on, after she took it as a challenge, she got over the said subject over time.

"Well, Soju, I wanted you to come to my office so we could go over some of the details of the exchange program you signed up for last year. We finally got a confirmation from Tokyo Middle School, they have agreed to let you study there for the remainder of your stay in Middle School, until you graduate to High School that is. You will be staying with one of the families there in Tokyo. I believe the people you will be staying with go to the High School though,"[/color] said the Principal.

"Yay!", I say jumping out of the chair in an instinctual reaction to what the principal says, ready to leave this miserable city behind, while knocking the chair down.
"S-Sorry about that principal-sama. I shall go right away... Um. What is the address of the family I'll be staying with, so I can get directions there.", I say as I pick the chair back up.

The Principal stares at Soju for a moment after she celebrates, thinking Is my school really that bad... ?, after his thought, you told Soju of the address of the one she will be living with.

"Thank you principal-sama.", I say as I bow to him.
I run out of the principal's office to my classroom with a small smile on my face. I gather my belongings from the classroom, and set out for home. I didn't care what other people thought anymore. I won't be around them anymore. I was so happy, I could cry. Well, I did cry, on my way home though.
After I got home I quickly gather some of my personal belongings into an old suitcase I had lying around. I go downstairs to the shop and tell the people I rented the place from that I was heading to Tokyo, went to the bank, withdrew all my money, and boarded a train bound for the Tokyo Central District.

Class started and nothing happen as usual. Lunch came and pass. Today seem like nothing was gonna happen. Soon it was after school already and Usami headed to work. Once there she changed into her worked clothes then went to asked the manager what she would be doing today. After a few hours of attending customers and dealing with the usual customers that disobey the rules came closing time. Usami then headed home "Seems like today was an easy day for me." Usami thought to herself."I wished my life had always been like this." Usami said as went to sleep.

Aoi walked throughout the corridor, to her classroom. Aoi attended the classes, though most of the time, she didn't payed any attention, she was just lost in thought, anticipating the the familiar to become a full fledged witch after consuming enough people, in about tomorrow, she couldn't wait for it to happen.
Once she was done with school, Aoi walked her way home, spent some time taking a shower, using the computer on her room, even played games out of boredom, went again to hunt some witches or wizards, and finally got back home again, and went straight to sleep this time.

After Casashian entered the class, he humbly bowed; apologizing, "Sorry for being late Teacher!". Everyone stopped talking. After putting down the chalk on his desk, the teacher scolded him for being late for the second time, the first time being his first day at school.
"I hope this will be your last time, Casashian-sa-" the teacher immediately stopped, having a strange look on his face. "Ahem ... Casashian. Now please, sit down and I hope you keep up your word."
As Casashian stood in the class, the girl in front of him whispered:
"Did you see Casashian?".
"No, what about him?", the coleague whispered back.
"She met with Takehiro-sama. That freak...".
"Someone wants to have a new grade?", the teacher asked.
Suddenly the talkative folks payed attention to the teacher.
The bell rang, most of the classmates went out to the corridor. Casashian stood at his chair; unpacking his lunchbox.
"Hehe. He really is cute". Wait, what am I thinking? I'm a boy . . . too bad the girl's doesn't like these type of boys... Hmm... but boys would like a gi-" Casashian thought to himself.
Akira walked his way to the class of the one to whom he was supposed to return the pencil to. Entering the class, he looked at to him, as he was there, with the little amount of students on the class, most sharing each others' lunches. He walked towards him. The girls squealed at the sight of him.
As Akira enters the classroom, Casashian looked at him with huge eyes. Trying to ignore him Casashian turned on the chair facing in another direction, thinking, W-w-why is he here?!
"You dropped this pencil on the corridor... Miss, I've came here to return it to you," Akira kindly spoke.
"Etto, well thank you... Casashian mumbled, embarrassed while trying to reach towards his pencil.
Akira put the pencil on his hand, "You haven't told me your name when we met the last time, its rude to not tell your name after I introduced myself, don't you think?".
"Y-y-yeah, I'm Casashian!", he stutterer, "You can call me Casa-san if you'd like."
"Its nice to meet you, Casa-san," Akira said, then continued, "Though I must take my leave now, see you around!", as he started to walk off, the girls on the class rushed towards him, each telling him different things, one telling him that Casashian is a guy.
"See you around then Akira-san, I waved at the leaving boy. As the rest of my classmates rushed towards Akira, Casashian heard one of them speaking about me being a guy. Hearing that Casashian got up, grabbing his lunchbox .
"Yeah and so what? Are you jealous that he talked to me? Double holed spring!!, Casashian yelled at them, after which he rushed outside of school.
The other female students yelled back at Casashian as well, but he left off anyway, Akira urged them to calm down.

Suddenly, he realized that she was in a really weird place, the road before him was gone. And he saw a door before him instead. He turned around looking for the people who was around him. Seeing that there wasn't anyone, he opened the door.

One more class until lunch time. Menolly sighed, trying to pay attention. This was a class that Menolly was particularly good at - physics. It being the analysis of nature and how things behave, and Menolly being a naturally curious being, they meshed together fairly well. She had an easy time paying attention in this class, and jotted down as much as she could in her notebook. It also helped that physics had a lot to do with astronomy, and if there was one thing Menolly loved more than art and music, it was stars and space.
Such a passion developed when she was very young and confined to her bed in sickness. Being barely conscious most of the day, her body decided to go into overdrive during the night. The only things she had to keep herself occupied was her imagination, and the stars glittering outside the window. Every night, Menolly would dream up stories about the stars. What they were, and why, and how - and in physics, she got to learn what they really were, and why, and how. It was love ever since, despite all the icky math involved.
By the time the next class begun, Haruka's consciousness made a swift descent into the realms of her dreams out of lack of energy and tiredness. Haruka found herself surrounded by strange looking monsters, on a dark area filled with filth and disgust. Until suddenly... "Haruka, Haruka!", the voice of a girl roamed into her realm, which was within her mind, separated from reality. Haruka then suddenly woke up to the classroom, looked around, and found herself surrounded by a few girls, and stared at by the others. "Huh... ? Where am I... ?" she drowsily asked, a girl answered, "In the class dummy, you slept throughout the class, Sensei found your sleeping face so cute that he just couldn't wake you up!", she laughed after saying so.
Haruka blushed and looked down, "S-Sorry about that!!", she apologized immediately, but then another girl asked, "Who are you apologizing to?", and so on, the happy times went on for a few more minutes. Then Haruka took her temporary leave of the class after having her lunch from her lunchbox with the others. Haruka then walked out the class.
The bell rung, finally signalling for lunch time. Stopping her doodling, Menolly gingerly took out her bento from her bag. "Itadakimasu," she said quietly, bowing her head. She began to eat at her desk, looking around the classroom at the others who stayed in there to eat. Was there anyone she should try to talk to...? A lone girl, who was new to their class, sat in her seat by the window, lazily looking out of the glass and picking at her lunch. Menolly gathered up her bento and padded nervously over to the other girl's desk with a small smile.
"H-hi! Would you... uhm... like to eat lunch together, Mika-san?"
The girl known as Mika looked at Menolly up and down, then scoffed, "Why would I like that? I don't even know you, and everyone tells me to stay away from you."
Frowning, the white-haired girl gathered up her courage. "I don't know what they told you, but it's probably not true. It's ridiculous to discriminate against someone you don't even know; I take back my offer, thanks."
Irritated and a little hurt, Menolly walked back to her desk and sat down to finish her lunch. She didn't notice the taken aback stare of Mika, still surprised and mulling over what she had said silently. After she finished eating, Menolly put away her things and decided to take a walk down the hallways until the bell rung again. She closed the door behind her hard, and began trying to calm herself down.
Hearing the shutting noise of the door, Haruka attention quickly shifted to class 2-3's door, "We meet again," she calmly said to the other white-haired girl, smiling, looking at her face, she asked, "Are you feeling well?".
Startled, Menolly looked over to Haruka. Giving her a nervous smile, she replied, "Oh, hello! Yes, I'm doing fine, how are you? Did you already finish your lunch?" Embarrassed, she shuffled her shoes and played with the ends of her hair.
Haruka answered in her normal, casual manner, "I'm fine, thank you. Glad to hear that you're fine as well. We have some time until the lunch break is over, I want to talk to you more. Wanna go somewhere? Like to the rooftop, or the backyard of the school, or somewhere with me?", all the while as she spoke, she wore her smile of her face, while speaking with her overwhelming charisma.
Menolly's cheeks flushed a light pink at the kindess the girl spoke with. "Sure, that'd be great... How's the rooftop?" She liked looking down from the roof, like she was overlooking the entire world. Like she had some sort of power. Menolly played with her hair a bit more and started walking towards the stairs, looking back to see if Haruka would follow.
"Very well then, the rooftop it is,", she started walking just as the white-haired girl did, when she looked back, she smiled, yet again, "I'm right behind you! Go on,".
"Alright," Menolly called back to Haruka, walking up the stairs until they reached the door to the rooftop. With a small effort, she pushed the heavy metal door open and breathed in the air as she walked out. It felt nice; Menolly really loved the way it felt to be surrounded by a breeze. It was... comforting, somehow.
"Haruka-san, if you don't mind... may I ask you a question? Why are you talking to me? Not to sound rude, because it makes me really happy that you are, but.. no one talks to me, really, let alone the school's idol." Menolly turned to Haruka as she asked this, trying not to let herself get too hopeful.
"Eh? Is it me? Or did I miss a part of what you said just now? I'm speaking to you because I am just interested in you," she gave a serene smile, feeling that she may be having a tough time, Haruka feels the need to try and maybe comfort her, though she doesn't know the situation yet.
"I-I'm really happy that you're talking to me, please don't take it the wrong way," Menolly explained, gesturing with her hands. "But... why? Why be interested in me? I can't help but wonder, I'm sorry." Surprised, Menolly found herself telling Haruka this. "Let's start over; It's nice to meet you, my name is Koizumi Menolly. Please call me Menolly!" Menolly's smile shone bright and honest, lifting her features considerably. She stuck her hand out towards Haruka.

But, having a new friend isn't all that bad, I'd say," Haruka then looked up at the sky, her eyes showed depression, but only slightly, then her graceful smile retrurned, she allowed herself to enjoy the nice breeze as well, its as though it waved her hidden sadness away, and encouraged her to move on and do what she wants to.
Haruka was just about to say 'let's start over' to her, Ehehehe, she beat me to it, she thought, while sweat ran down at the back of her head, once again. "Sure, let us start over. My name, as you may have already heard, is Mirai Haruka, its a pleasure to meet you, Menolly-chan!", she felt truly happy, for some reason, and smiled sheepishly, then spoke again, "I hope we can get along well. Now there, you have your new friend, Menolly-chan,".

One more class until lunch time. Menolly sighed, trying to pay attention. This was a class that Menolly was particularly good at - physics. It being the analysis of nature and how things behave, and Menolly being a naturally curious being, they meshed together fairly well. She had an easy time paying attention in this class, and jotted down as much as she could in her notebook. It also helped that physics had a lot to do with astronomy, and if there was one thing Menolly loved more than art and music, it was stars and space.
Such a passion developed when she was very young and confined to her bed in sickness. Being barely conscious most of the day, her body decided to go into overdrive during the night. The only things she had to keep herself occupied was her imagination, and the stars glittering outside the window. Every night, Menolly would dream up stories about the stars. What they were, and why, and how - and in physics, she got to learn what they really were, and why, and how. It was love ever since, despite all the icky math involved.
By the time the next class begun, Haruka's consciousness made a swift descent into the realms of her dreams out of lack of energy and tiredness. Haruka found herself surrounded by strange looking monsters, on a dark area filled with filth and disgust. Until suddenly... "Haruka, Haruka!", the voice of a girl roamed into her realm, which was within her mind, separated from reality. Haruka then suddenly woke up to the classroom, looked around, and found herself surrounded by a few girls, and stared at by the others. "Huh... ? Where am I... ?" she drowsily asked, a girl answered, "In the class dummy, you slept throughout the class, Sensei found your sleeping face so cute that he just couldn't wake you up!", she laughed after saying so.
Haruka blushed and looked down, "S-Sorry about that!!", she apologized immediately, but then another girl asked, "Who are you apologizing to?", and so on, the happy times went on for a few more minutes. Then Haruka took her temporary leave of the class after having her lunch from her lunchbox with the others. Haruka then walked out the class.
The bell rung, finally signalling for lunch time. Stopping her doodling, Menolly gingerly took out her bento from her bag. "Itadakimasu," she said quietly, bowing her head. She began to eat at her desk, looking around the classroom at the others who stayed in there to eat. Was there anyone she should try to talk to...? A lone girl, who was new to their class, sat in her seat by the window, lazily looking out of the glass and picking at her lunch. Menolly gathered up her bento and padded nervously over to the other girl's desk with a small smile.
"H-hi! Would you... uhm... like to eat lunch together, Mika-san?"
The girl known as Mika looked at Menolly up and down, then scoffed, "Why would I like that? I don't even know you, and everyone tells me to stay away from you."
Frowning, the white-haired girl gathered up her courage. "I don't know what they told you, but it's probably not true. It's ridiculous to discriminate against someone you don't even know; I take back my offer, thanks."
Irritated and a little hurt, Menolly walked back to her desk and sat down to finish her lunch. She didn't notice the taken aback stare of Mika, still surprised and mulling over what she had said silently. After she finished eating, Menolly put away her things and decided to take a walk down the hallways until the bell rung again. She closed the door behind her hard, and began trying to calm herself down.
Hearing the shutting noise of the door, Haruka attention quickly shifted to class 2-3's door, "We meet again," she calmly said to the other white-haired girl, smiling, looking at her face, she asked, "Are you feeling well?".
Startled, Menolly looked over to Haruka. Giving her a nervous smile, she replied, "Oh, hello! Yes, I'm doing fine, how are you? Did you already finish your lunch?" Embarrassed, she shuffled her shoes and played with the ends of her hair.
Haruka answered in her normal, casual manner, "I'm fine, thank you. Glad to hear that you're fine as well. We have some time until the lunch break is over, I want to talk to you more. Wanna go somewhere? Like to the rooftop, or the backyard of the school, or somewhere with me?", all the while as she spoke, she wore her smile of her face, while speaking with her overwhelming charisma.
Menolly's cheeks flushed a light pink at the kindess the girl spoke with. "Sure, that'd be great... How's the rooftop?" She liked looking down from the roof, like she was overlooking the entire world. Like she had some sort of power. Menolly played with her hair a bit more and started walking towards the stairs, looking back to see if Haruka would follow.
"Very well then, the rooftop it is,", she started walking just as the white-haired girl did, when she looked back, she smiled, yet again, "I'm right behind you! Go on,".
"Alright," Menolly called back to Haruka, walking up the stairs until they reached the door to the rooftop. With a small effort, she pushed the heavy metal door open and breathed in the air as she walked out. It felt nice; Menolly really loved the way it felt to be surrounded by a breeze. It was... comforting, somehow.
"Haruka-san, if you don't mind... may I ask you a question? Why are you talking to me? Not to sound rude, because it makes me really happy that you are, but.. no one talks to me, really, let alone the school's idol." Menolly turned to Haruka as she asked this, trying not to let herself get too hopeful.
"Eh? Is it me? Or did I miss a part of what you said just now? I'm speaking to you because I am just interested in you," she gave a serene smile, feeling that she may be having a tough time, Haruka feels the need to try and maybe comfort her, though she doesn't know the situation yet.
"I-I'm really happy that you're talking to me, please don't take it the wrong way," Menolly explained, gesturing with her hands. "But... why? Why be interested in me? "Great day this is..", he spoke, "Great week..", he yelled, "Great bloody school year", he shouted. Casashian started to look as though he hadn't had any food for a long while, that face when one gets old, it was quite wierd, any normal person seeing it would be... surprised.
A laughing voice echoed, a female voice, enough to not only reach Casashian's ears, but it also waked his senses up. Another voice echoed, "I think its about time you leave this place, Casa-san," it was Akira's voice.
"Just what is this place?, Casashian spoke in a manly tone while standing prepared in a bad position.
More rounds of laughing echoed throughout the area. "Hurry!!" spoke Akira. Geez... do I HAVE to tell him to get out anymore? Maybe not... I'll let him do whatever now.
"What? Hurry where?!, Casashian replied. "This place is giving me the creeps," she replied wiping out leftover tears.
Red light engulfed Akira, the formal coat, the scarlet rose, and the cross-mask, appeared magically, with his eyes, slightly visible from the outside. The euphoric light vanished, footsteps could be heard, and suddenly, he appeared before Casashian, "Here it comes... ".
Casashian saw a feeble light in the same direction from which Akira's voice came.Due to the darkness blocking his view, he wanders towards the feeble light. After just a few seconds the light dissapeard , only to see Akira in his new elegant costume. "Ehh what ar you doin- Argh . . . Who's coming?" Casashian spoke out of frustration.
"Your worst nightmare," Akira answered.
A grottesque black figure started taking shape from the floor, "Hehehahahahahahaha"[/i], speedily laughing, it formed before Casashian and Akira's eyes. Nothing seemed normal, all matter other than Casashian and Akira moved abnormally, as if they were in a totally different world.
"What is that aparition?" Casashian replied with remorse. "This is my n-nightmare?" She added forcing himself to laugh. Trying to keep his posture.
A voice spoke within Casashian's head, through telepathy, [b]"Its a wizard. Wizards and witches both eats humans and spreads dispair, while a Mahou Shounen like Akira spreads hope, and defeats the witches and wizards!". Akira put his palm on his forehead, showing his disappointment at what Casashian said regarding 'nightmares'.
On the dark matter, formed a weird face, its eyes were at the place of a man's mouth, its mouth was at the place of a man's eyes, its ears and nose were not present. It seemed as though it didn't had any arms or legs, but many tentacles appeared around it, and pure black fishes could be seen flying around everywhere. The laughing still echoed around the room, the voice signified it being male, thus, a wizard.
"What is this place? Who are you? What are you? Y-you must be j-joking right? Right?" Casashian replied in frustration again seeing that the view , the creature's weren't normal, or at least earthly.
A voice echoed directly on Casashian's mind again, "This is a barrier of a Wizard, which the Wizard lured you into. I am Kyubey, I am what I am. I'm very certain that I'm not joking with you, Maruisawa Casashian."
"The wizard is coming!", Kyubey spoke again, it seemed that Kyubey stood behind Akira all along, he slightly looked at Casashian with his red eyes, but then looked back at the wizard.
Casashian remained silent looking at the "wizard". Trying to make any sense of what is happening, he stands down on his knees paying attention for the upcoming events.
Two guns formed at both of Akira's hands. Then he started repeatedly shooting with them, they shot out red shining bullets, the bullets moving in high speed could be seen since they glowed in red. The fishes quickly got in the way of all the shots, only a few shots made past the protective fishes, but they were blocked by the wizard's fast and flexible tentacles.
Akira jumped, and shot with only one of his guns this time, his other arm couldn't even be seen... as if it was cut off. Akira landed behind the wizard, it continued with its laughing fits, most of the fishes seemed to be killed by the shots. One would see an 'x' mark on the black body of the wizard, which lit brightly, then burst, causing an explosion. The vocies ceased, everything started to return to normal. The same red light flashed around Akira, as his cloths returned to normal and his guns disappeared.
The usual streets, houses, and everything, even the few people around the place, all reappeared. Though, it seemed as though the people all gathered there, unknowingly, for which even they themselves seemed confused.
Still standing on the ground half frightened half amazed , Casashian looked for Akira.
Akira could be seen crouching to the pavement, taking up a black, egg-shapped item, at the top of it was something small that looked like a handle, which was fish-shapped.

"I've beaten yet another monster on this city, what else?", AKira answered, full of himself.
"Wait what? What was that thing? I mean, what is a wizard?, Casashian added the feeling of the need to know more. "This is really odd... I've read some books and mangas but this..
"Didn't Kyubey explain already, it was a monster, called a wizard. Wizards are the monsters that us Mahou Shounen hunts down, because its our job."
Hearing that answer Casashian absorbed that information like a sponge.
"It did say something about a wizard but.. Not in great detail. So you are a Mahou Shounen? Casashian replied.
"Indeed I am, but we might want to speak of this elsewhere, lets go to my place, Kyubey, you shall come along as well," said Akira, whose gentlemanly air had returned to him. Kyubey replied with an "Of course!". Akira walked off, expecting Casashian to follow him.
Being reluctant about the idea Casashian looks around for anything suspicious. Seeing that Akira is near out of sight Casashian runs in a girlish way towards him.
A few minutes has passed, feeling nervours about asking Akira about his feelings, he nervously asked "What do you think about me, I mean, you heard that rumor about my.... gender, I should say?", Casashian said, while looking down; ashamed.
"I think you're a boy living out however you desire, and are facing the consequences of doing so from the society," answered Akira, while looking up on the sky. Seems like it was just past 12 pm on the clock now, Akira continued with his walking.
"Is that good or bad in your opinion?" Cassashian spoke looking at Akira with admiration.
"On one side, its good, to live the way you want, but its bad at the same time, if you see why exactly the society dispises this, in all honesty, there aren't much happiness from doing it, because then mostly everyone won't like you, the loneliness can get to you, unlike me."
"B-b-but... I have nothing more to say. Casashian replied with his head down hugging himself. "How much untill we get there? he added.
"Just a little more."
Akira arrived home, along with Casashian. He put his bag down, sat down on the couch, after inviting Casashian in.
It was a clean and glamorous room, maybe it was the works of his personal maids? Even though the size of the room isn't all that extravangant, but the way every object fitted inside was interesting. Abstract paintings could be seen hanging on the walls, some of them looked similar to that "wizard" that Akira fought. By taking a peek inside, a naturally lit white room. A black piano could be seen. Without staring too much Casashian followed Akira. Seeing him as he puts his bag down, Casashian humbly asked the following:
"May I sit down?", Casashian continued looking around. Glamorous as it should be, this one felt different than the others.
"Yes, you may."
After Casashian have taken a seat, he asked Akira "So... What is going on?"
"Maybe its better to ask that question to Kyubey."
"Well, it started quite a long time ago, basically, the ones who currently 'mahou shoujo' or ' mahou shounen' are the ones who've made a contract with me, if you make a contract with me, I'll grant you any one wish, the sky is the limit, so the one wishing to make a contract can make almost any wish, but once the contract is made, you'll have to become a mahou shoujo... mahou shounen on your case, and live to fulfill your duties as one, which is to hunt and kill witches and wizards," explained Kyubey.
Hearing every single word Casashian in amazment, "So this means that I can escape from this 'society' that I am in right now. I can be free from all of the bullying, nothing would be bad or good. This sounds way too good to be true, Casashian thought for himself.

I wake up half-way through the train ride, as I start getting uncomfortable and my arm falls asleep. I stretch and look out of the window in my cabin.
"Man... this is a long train ride. I just wish I could have made that wish with Kyubey...", I say quietly. "I hope the family I'll be living with isn't too bad..... And it'd be bad if there was a boy there. I hate boys."
I start drifting off to sleep again, and I dream of Usami-senpai.

Menolly's face flushed red at the girl's friendliness, her eyes widening slightly as her smile brightened still. A friend. She made a friend. Yuiko will be so proud, she thought to herself. A feeling of happiness bubbled up within her, and Menolly felt a renewed spark inside of her that her sister and her new friend both helped to culture.
"Thank you, Haruka-san." She whispered quietly, smiling.

There was a pop quiz in class; despite her wandering thoughts, Menolly scribbled in her answers automatically and passed in her paper. For some reason, she got a weird feeling that she should be worried about Haruka. Brushing it off as her usual paranoia, Menolly continued to pay attention in class and take her notes diligently. Briefly, she thought of what to make for dinner. Yuiko was home, so she'd probably want curry. Sweet, not spicy - like a child. As her thoughts continued to drift, class went on.
The final class of the day was the English class. In this class, regardless of how good anyone else may be in this particular subject, Haruka is the best. Not in grammar or creativity in writing, but in pronounciation, as she went abroad a few times, especially in English-speaking countries such as England, her pronounciation has reached a league of its own from hearing and speaking in English there.

"Okay, it's still around here, I should defeat it while I can," Haruka said after seeing the light from her Soul Gem pulse.
After her day of classes came to a close, Menolly once again gathered her things. Instead of putting them away carefully like usual, she merely threw them into her bag rather haphazardly. Thankfully she didn't have any class duties today so she could leave right away; pushing in her chair, Menolly left the classroom and exited the building. She thought she saw Haruka walking through the crowd of students, but she couldn't be sure. She shrugged it off; they couldn't hang out today anyway.
As Haruka left the class, she went through the herd of students on the corridor. But as she went through the crowd in a hurry, she felt that she saw Menolly for a moment, but she couldn't turn from her path to speak to her, so she went on to for her destination. Soon, she made it out of the building, and walked her way out of the school gates. Now, on her way to her prey.

She knew that was the sort of thing Yuiko would love - and maybe she'd even find something for her new friend, too. Perusing the stock of charms, she thought she'd found what she was looking for. A bear, a bunny, and a cat charm. She inwardly squealed at the cuteness of the handmade items and made her purchases. Menolly felt a little odd buying something for someone she'd just met, but she hoped it wasn't too weird.
Content with the small charms, Menolly continued on her way through the shopping district. "Oh, hey... There was that maid cafe hiring nearby here, right?" she questioned quietly to herself. A job would be nice. After all, her recent job as a tutor was over and she needed a source of income. As embarrassing as it would be to work at such a place, it would be even worse asking her older sister for money. She wandered to the front of the cafe and saw Haruka.
Is that... Haruka-san...? What's she doing here? Menolly thought to herself, confused.
"Okay, time to go in and defeat this witch," Haruka said to herself after taking a deep breath to calm herself, even a little. And then went in through the door.[/h]

A feeling of happiness bubbled up within her, and Menolly felt a renewed spark inside of her that her sister and her new friend both helped to culture.
"Thank you, Haruka-san." She whispered quietly, smiling.

"That is all then? Just that? But I've seen something that Akira took from the wizard... What is that if you don't mind me asking?" Casashian asked the odd looking pet.
Akira then spoke, "Its called a Grief Seed, they are used to cleanse the soul gems, I could just do it and show you an example now.
Akira then shuffled his hand around in his right pocket and took the grief seed out. Then the ring on his left hand, with writing in arcane lettering, transformed into a red colored egg-shaped gem, right in front of Casashian's very eyes. "Look carefully, this is a Soul Gem. It's what we Mahou Shoujo or Mahou Shounen use our magic through, it's really important to cleanse the darkness and filfth that you can see in it right now."
The dark filfth that roamed about within the Soul Gem came out, then transferred to the grief seed, but there was still a bit more darkness left about on the Gem.
Casashian was astonished from witnessing the events that took forth.
"So Kyubei... Are you saying that I can wish for anything and gain some special powers?"
"Of course! Make a contract with me, and I'll grant you any one wish! You seem to be have enough talent to qualify, Casashian-san.
Hearing kyubei's praises Casashian blushed trying to reply "H-h-how do you know that I-I-I've got talent Kyubei?".
"Hang on you white little cat! Don't just ask him to make a contract with you right here and now, you need to give him some time. It's something very dangerous; if he dies, his corpse may never make it out of the barrier, and may be labeled as 'missing' forever. One must think about it really carefully, especially about what they want to wish. Also, Casashian, if you're gonna do this... do whatever, but don't try to get in my way," Akira spoke a bit rashly, this time.
"So this means that I'll be alone?" Casashian replied after a short time. "B-but.. You are the only person that didn't insult me inside that school... better yet on this world. I wish we could work togheter..."
" I think most mahou shoujo and shounen works all on their own and that was simply my common courtesy, and my current bahaviour towards you is out of that very courtesy, we live under a harsh world, don't expect me to do something such as 'work together' I don't like that, one single bit. Find someone else for that, there are many other Mahou Shoujo and Shounen on this world, on other towns and cities for you do that with," just when Akira paused for a moment, Kyubey took the liberty to speak, "If you don't want people to treat you badly and insult you, you can wish for them to stop it for good from me, I can grant that wish, after all.
"By the way... Kyubey, get off the couch," Akira said, angrily. Kyubey replied with a "Okay, okay."
"Though Akira is right, most Mahou Shoujo and Shounen are working on their own, even now, only a few has relations of partnerships, but they are usually temporary until they end up deciding to part ways for their own reasons."
Hearing that there isn't a way for me to have anyone that will not be offended by my appearance I look at Akira. "What if I was a true girl Akira-kun?" Casashian spoke pronuncing Akira's name as girly as he could.
"I won't work together with anyone, that includes girls too, including you, whether you're a guy or a girl, it doesn't matter, replied Akira.
"But, you could temporarily make a truce with him yes? This could help him adapt to the realm that we live under, think of it as training him to get used to all of this.
At Kyubey's negotiation, Akira answered, "That works for me, to kill my time, but it still doesn't mean that I'll do a long time partnership... you really try to get people to make contracts with you huh? You desperate little cat."
"Why not? Casashian responded frustrated. "What is the reasons for not wanting to work with me?" he added looking more and more furious.
"Because I don't like working with someone else, I prefer to do my job alone, that's my style, that's how I roll, don't like it? Oh well, not that I'm asking you to understand, just saying I won't do it.
"T-Then... !" Casashian spoke as tears were starting to appear on his eyes. "You are just like everyone else. Ignorant... Casashian stood up looking angrily at Akira. "Kyubei!! Join me on a walk for a discussion for my wish. I don't want to see anyone in the near future," Casashian spoke while exiting the apartament.
Almost immediately, Akira said, "Whatever, you got too hopeful anyway, so this was a good way to get them all crushed out, I guess," Kyubey then replied to Casashian, "Sure!", Kyubey then scurried his way behind Casashian and walked out of the apartment with him.

I wake up right before the train enters the station in Tokyo. I yawn, and stretch. I grab up my one suitcase and head off of the train.
It was like being in an entirely new country. There were people everywhere at this time of day, and the train station was comparable to the one in Mitakihara. I look around for like a clock tower and I see one not too far away. It is just after 3pm.
"Man, that was a long train ride. Though I got to catch up on my sleep.", I say as I stifle another yawn.
I was told by the principal that I would meet my host mother near the clock tower. I walk over to the clock tower, while dragging my suitcase behind me. As I approach the tower, I see a kind lady walk up to me. She takes my suitcase and leads me to where she parked near the station. She puts my suitcase in the trunk, and gets in.
"I've never been in a car before.", I say hesitantly.
"It will be fine. There's nothing to be afraid of.", she says to me with a smile on her face.
"Mhm."
I get into the passenger seat and she starts up the car. She starts driving and starts to talk with me since we were no longer in the loud and crowded station.
"So, what's your name, and where did you go to school?"
"My names Soju Kimura, and I went to school at the Mitakihara Middle School."
"I see. I have a child that goes to the High School here. I hope you will learn a lot of things while staying here, and maybe we might get to know each other better."
"Mhm. I would like that very much."
The rest of the car ride goes on in silence, until we get to the house. It wasn't too big, but it was modest. Surely a lot larger than my apartment in Mitakihara. After the lady parked the car, I got out and went to go get my suitcase.
"No, no. Let me. You're a guest here for as long as you stay here. So please, let me get it for you."
I stand aside and the lady grabs my suitcase and goes inside the house. The house was much larger than I thought it would be. It had a large entry way, which lead to a hallway, with a staircase on the right hand side. We take off our shoes and I follow the lady up the stairs. She shows me where my room is, and sets my suitcase down at the foot of the bed.
"Well, this is where you're going to sleep. I hope you like it. Anyway, there's a bathroom down the hallway, last door on the left. And the room across from yours is my child's. And I sleep on the last door on the right of this hallway, if you ever need me. I'll let you get settled, and I will make some snacks. It must have been a long train ride."
The lady leaves the room, and closes the door. I go over to the bed an plop down onto it with my arms spread wide.
"She sure is nice. Is this what it's like to have a mother? If so, I don't ever want to leave.", I say softly.
I curl up into a ball on the bed. "I wonder if Kyubey is here. And I wonder who her child is? If it's a guy or girl."

As the object flew to the sky and was reaching the ground, towards Casashian, Kyubey spoke out, "Now, take hold of it, that is your fate."
Grabbing the object Casashian responded with a calm tone " What's this thing?". Noticing that her voice was far too feminine she yelled " Ehhh whats wrong with my voice?".
"That is your Soul Gem, Casashian-san, put it to good use. Ah, and that's because your wish has been granted," answered Kyubey.
Smiling due to the fact that her wishes were fulfilled Casashian walked home.

Taking her slow steps towards the door, she remembered that her voice sounded more female-like, but that isn't going to be a problem because she used that tone fairly often.
