"Well, without a soul gem, you'll definitely not be able to find the witches and wizards and carry out your duties as a Mahou Shoujo. This isn't an anime or some fiction world where all Mahou Shoujo have the ability to sense them out., Kyubey answered, again.

I had unconsciously started to sip at the other tea cup that was in my hands, as I thought, "I'm betting that those Soul Gems hold our powers, kinda like a lich's phylacteries, or horacrux."

After a long pause,

"After hearing all of this, I will have to think on my wish some more. I thought I would be prepared with the wish I already have, but I know now, that it won't be sufficient." I take a deep breath. "I'm sorry Kyubey that I have wasted your time, but I don't have my wish ready yet. Once I do have it ready, is there a way I can contact you, so I can speak with you again?"

"I see, then there's nothing that I can do, whenever you're ready, just call my name out, since I'll be around, I'll be up before you once you do. Now, I must go in order to find someone who'd like to make a contract with me, see you soon!", said Kyubey as he ran off and left through the window.

After Kyubey left through the window, I couldn't help but think on what I was going to do. I knew half of my wish already, but the other half is what would clinch it. That is the half that would make or break it, as well.

Remembering about earlier, I decide to take a shower, and get on some fresh undergarments. I walk out of the shower, only wearing my bra and panties, rubbing the moisture out of my hair with a towel, and I sit back down on the couch. I sit near the window, where Kyubey left, and I stare up at the night sky. I watch the stars, as if the answer were inside of them somewhere.

As time passed, I started to drift asleep, still looking at the stars. Dreams came to me, and each was different. Some were nightmares of what happened today, others were just normal dreams. Except one.

Varg seems to ponder. Examining her appearance, he infers that the girl before him is a lady of a rich family, with her sumptuous clothing and natural air of elegance. Varg is reminded of the girl in the red dress that he had noticed at Area Four-Five, and this intrigues him. "Hmm... where are you heading to? We're trying to find the main road."

"C-Could you help us f-find it?" Emi says as she worriedly glances around the alleyway. She clings closer onto Varg. Varg holds Emi's hand to reassure her.

"Kaichou, what do you think?" Kiyomi looked up from the papers she was signing to look at a file one of the other student counsel members handed her. She opened the folder taking a quick glance at the information.

"Reject it. I do not think we have the budget for such a project." Kiyomi slid the file to the treasurer and they agreed. She went back to finishing her papers before looking at the time. "It is getting pretty late. We should finish up quickly." The others nodded and in no time they were all leaving school finished doing their work.

"Kaichou, are you doing anything later?" One of the student counsel members asked as the group walked to the station.

"Sorry." Kiyomi gave a small bow and smiled sheepishly. "I have to buy some groceries." In truth, she just wanted to go home. The day felt much more tiring than usual. "See you tomorrow." She ran away before they could ask to tag along. Kiyomi went onto her train and was finally able to rest for the first time since leaving home. Trying to be an acceptable person was very difficult.

"Oh? The main road? I'm not going there, I'm going home and I'll be taking another route for that, but if you'd like, I could lead you to the main road," Aoi offered, her sight shifted to the woman who cleaved onto the man's arms and requested Aoi to help them find it.

She seemed cute, looking at the way she spoke, reminded her of herself long ago in the past. Aoi smiled slightly, but she usually doesn't like to smile, for which her face returned to its usual structure, with no smile at all, "Sure, just follow me," Aoi turned around and started walking, taking a turn to the right, expecting the couple to be right behind her.

[size=12]After much settling down and sisterly hugging later, Menolly and Yuiko sat under their kotatsu in their pajamas. When her sister started talking about Tokyo, Menolly questioned her on her work, how she was adapting to the change, and if she'd met anyone special yet. Yuiko's face turned pink, her long, brown hair flying as she shook her head furiously.

"N-no, there's no one like that! she sputtered, obviously flustered. Menolly tilted her head curiously at her, and pressed on.

"You're sure...? Your face is awfully red for a no!"

They laughed and teased each other for a long time, Menolly finally dragging it out of her sister that she does indeed have a boyfriend, a guy she had met in university years ago and had lost contact with until recently. Menolly had almost forgotten what it was like to feel so at ease with someone and just be. She'd yet to tell Yuiko about the troubles she was having, but she was already feeling like her usual self with the visit from her bubbly sister.

"Hey, Yuiko?" she questioned quietly, feeling her doubts wash over her once more.

"Did you ever have trouble with kids when you were in school?"

Yuiko considered her younger sibling carefully, watching her lower lip tremble with uncertainty. A grimace crawled onto Yuiko's pretty features at the thought of the kids who picked on Menolly, and at one time, the kids who picked on herself. Suddenly, with a sigh, the brunette gave Menolly a wry smile and ruffled her sister's hair from across their shared kotatsu.

"It's hard, isn't it?" Menolly looked up at her.

"You don't even know what's wrong with yourself, why they say such cruel things. They don't even know you. But you see, Meno, the cruel truth is, they don't have to. They don't have to know you to tear you down because of anything. Anything at all."

Her blue eyes widened at her sister's words, taking them in slowly. She understood, but it was hard for her to comprehend personally. She couldn't even stand up for herself, all she could do was cry as they say cruel things or ignore her completely. At one point, she was strong. Strong and brave and filled to the brim with possibilities. When did she fall so far? Menolly didn't know, and she didn't know how to pick herself up.

"Fight, Menolly. Fight for yourself. You don't really think you deserve their treatment, do you?"

Fight? Just... fight? Was it really so easy? Yuiko made it sound so. Menolly so desperately wanted to believe in her, believe in something that it hurt to breathe.

Okay. Breathe. At one point, I meant something to myself. I was proud to be myself. I had dreams. Dreams.

The world brightened just a little as Menolly fell into herself.

I want to be strong. I want to make people smile. I want to be seen, I want to be someone. But most of all - I want to sing.[/h]

Emi lets out a sigh of relief after hearing that Aoi will help them. She hated alleyways such as these, and was deeply frightened being in one. Varg and Emi follow the girl, still holding hands, with Varg leading Emi.

"My thanks, Aoi."

As they walk down the alleyway, Varg asks Aoi a few questions, and they converse.

"Hmm... Aoyama..." Varg says the surname of the girl to himself, showing a bit curiosity of it. Directed at Aoi, Varg asks, "Do you come from a influential family? Your clothes indicate, at the very least, it is a rich one."

Aoi could already hear him speaking out her surname to himself, but he wouldn't know of her advanced senses, this kind of her the feeling that he could be a troublemaker, or someone who can get really curious, Aoi doesn't wish to have someone snooping around her whereabouts, at all.

After being asked, "Yes, you are correct, but the family I am from shouldn't be any of your concern,", Aoi stated.

Before they knew, the main road could be seen in front of them. "And there you have it, the main road, now, I'd like to take my leave,", she said as she walked past them.

((OOC: Rai, if your character or Thousand Sun's character would like to tell her anything, its still possible, as she's not out of the sight, yet.))

"I was merely curious, regarding your family. And perhaps, I may even have some association with your family. It would be wise to not make such assumptions..." Varg responds a little ominously, and half-jokingly. There was no actual meaning to his statement, but Varg merely speaks the truth that he has understood from living his life. People can easily become connected, one way or another, willingly or un-willingly. Especially for a person like him...

"Will you be safe travelling home by yourself?"

"No, you're not associated in anyway, I'm not going to reveal why I say so, but I am aware that what I say is fully and utterly put; correct. I speak the facts, not assumptions," Aoi said, her face was devoid of any emotion, or so one would like to think that way. She was certain and confident about what she said.

"Don't worry, I know my way home well, I'll get there safely,", said Aoi as she started walking back into the darkness of the alleyways.

Varg smiles in response to Aoi's vehement declaration. "I have nothing to say to that, nor do I feel that I have anything to worry about. Have a safe trip home."

"Mhm, see you around,", she said, after which her head slightly bowed, and she then walked off.





Coming home to the big mansion, after being greeted by the maids, she made her way to her mother, "I thought we were supposed to fire most of those maids since we'd be unable to pay them properly, Mother?", she asked, and her proceeded to explaining that they are yet to do it, reason being "we still require their services", or so her mother had told her.

She stopped caring at this point, "What's the use of worrying about this family at all... ?", she thought to herself, she felt that she couldn't her own family with their financial situation, at all. But then again, her job of modeling was enough for have her to feel content with its good pay.

She made her way to her own room, then changed into her pajamas, and her body softly laid down on her bed.

Varg, sensing impatience in the girl, decides to not hold her up any longer. He was still curious about specific things regarding her family and herself, but it is but a trivial matter.

Varg gives a gesture of thanks and says, "Have a safe trip, and good day to you." Varg walks down the main road, holding Emi's hand, away from Aoi.

The two continue on home, Varg holding a bag containing the dress he bought for Emi. As they head home, they talk about the various things that happened that day. The afternoon sun begins to set more and more, with the sky turning redder as it descends.



As the two arrive home, they take off their shoes and Varg sits down to relieve his feet.

"Dear, will you be showering first?"

"Well... maybe we could save some water~?"

"Hmm... would you like to shower together?"

Emi blushes and nods.

Varg smiles in response. The two head off into their room and undress out of their casual attire, as well as getting new sets of clothes. Varg takes his set of pajamas, and Emi takes her nightgown. The two enter the bathroom together, and Varg runs the water. They take off their undergarments as it runs.

Emi steps in the shower first, and Varg follows after. They each grab their own loofah, as well as their own shampoo. They first clean themselves separately, but Varg suddenly hugs Emi by the waist.

"Would you like me to wash your back?"

Emi becomes startled by Varg's suggestion and yelps in surprise, "E-Eh?! S-Sure...!"

Varg takes Emi's loofah and scrubs her back in a very meticulous manner. His strokes were gentle, yet thorough. Emi's muscles become relaxed from Varg's technique, and she leans on Varg's body. With a somnolent look in her eyes, Emi says, "Mmmnm~ that feels good~"

Varg smiles serenely while continuing to scrub Emi's back.

After the two shower, they put on their clothing for the night, exit the bathroom, and enter the room. They spend the rest of their evening watching TV and idle talk.

Emi cutely yawns, and Varg yawns as well. Emi looks at the clock, and it indicates that it is getting fairly late. "....oh!" Emi seems to become startled as she suddenly realizes something. "I have to go to sleep early today if I want to wake up in time to go with you to work tomorrow, dear!" Emi scuttles to the bedroom, and gestures Varg to hurry to bed. Varg, in contrast to Emi, leisurely strolls to the bedroom, unworried, since he has no issues waking up early with relatively little sleep. The two slide into bed, and tightly hold each other's hand. While lying, the two look into each other's eyes, and they both say to each other,

"Good night."

Emi closes her eyes, and slowly but surely, she falls asleep after ten or twenty minutes. Varg remains still and motionless, his eyes still open, waiting for Emi to fall asleep. He has no intention of falling asleep yet. Varg gently lets go of Emi's hand, and gently leaves the bed, and the room.

As Varg exits his room, he takes the pair of pants he had been wearing earlier, reaches into the pocket, and takes out his cellphone. He looks around for Emi's presence, making sure she isn't around, and dials a number. After a few moments, the recipient answers their phone.

A sound of a burly, older male voice comes from the other end. He speaks, and Varg responds, and this continues for several minutes.

"It's me."

"I have an assignment for you. Tomorrow is a special day."

...

"First, allocate the majority of the guards to the underground sections, particularly cell sections B and C, as well as the central gates. Keep a minimal amount of guards surrounding the perimeter of the surface buildings..."

...

"Good. Carry this out flawlessly."

...

Varg ends his call. The primary preparations have been made. Varg hopes for the success of tomorrow, and he feels that it would be an interesting day, at the very least. He sits down on a sofa in the living room for a moment, staring out a window. He sees the front lawn, the street beyond it, the houses on the other end of the street beyond that, and finally the star-filled sky beyond that. At that moment, he felt a sense of peace within his heart.

He walks back into his room, and lies down on the bed, with Emi at his side. He stares at the ceiling for several minutes, contemplating. His body becomes heavier with each second, his body become less and less responsive to his brain. He does not resist the pull of his desire to sleep, and his consciousness fades to the soporific darkness behind his eyelids.

So ends the day of Varg and Emi.

The night had been fairly restless for me as the sun rose, waking me up. I remember falling asleep right next to the window, looking out at the stars, resting my head on my hand as I did so.

"Speaking of my hand." I say as I start to move the stiffness out of my joints.

My hand had no feeling in it at all, as I slept on it for the entire night. As I start moving my hand, the blood starts flowing back into it, bringing up that all too painful tingling sensation of your nerves coming back to life.

"Uh, what time is it?", as I look around for the clock.

The clock indicates 6:54am. Still early. I get up from the couch, and stretch. Taking all the rest of the hardness out of my cramped muscles. Suddenly, I remember the one dream I had last night. I couldn't remember all of it, and most of it was sketchy at best, but one thing stood out clearly in that dream, well, the first part of the dream. She had to find some place that looked like it was an underground jail. Something 4-something. I could only remember that one number. This had a feeling of being important, so I would decide to skip school today. It's not like a couple days being gone would hurt.

I go to my room and get dressed. I wear a simple green skirt, a horizontal striped shirt with alternating green and white, and a sweatshirt. I always wear things that match my unique hair and eye color. With it being green, there wasn't too many things. I walk into my bathroom, and do my daily routine. I brush my hair 100 times, use the facilities, and then brush my teeth. Afterwards, I go to the kitchen and make a simple breakfast, since I forgot to go to the store last night as well. I cook a couple hard-boiled eggs, and some toast. I finish it quickly, and leave for the library. I'm sure I could find some information about the something 4-something prison from my dream at the library.

"Well, there's only one way to figure it out.", I say as I lock up my apartment, and head towards the library at half past 7am.

Aoi rushed up from laying, on the bed, from her deep slumber. She found herself sweating intensely, and breathed quickly for a few moments, "Why... why do I see you... ?", she spoke to herself within her mind.

She looked around the room, until catching the clock on wall within her sights, seeing as it was past 7 am, she sighed "Guess its time for school already," trying to calm her body, then taking out her school uniform from the closet after streaming off of her bed, then came down from the grand stairs after dressing up, having her breakfast, served by her maids; and went off for school.

After getting off of the train that lead her to the so-called "school zone" where most schools, middle schools, preschools, high schools and even colleges were at, Aoi went past the school gates of Mitakihara High's premises, which is the first to be seen on one's vision usually after entering the area after the train station.

Aoi walked her way to her class, and sat down on her seat, as usual, she could hear the chatters regarding her around herself.

As morning came around at 7am, Usami woke up from her sleep. After all her groceries were gone yesterday, all she was able to have were noodles again, due to not having any ingredients for having anything else.

"Noodles for breakfast gets annoying easily," Usami sighed, "Well, I guess I better buy some food before heading to work today,".

After eating and getting everything she needed, she headed out for school. Once she arrived, it was the same as usual, she found all of her classmates gossiping about the princess; nothing new. Though she could see Aoi there, Usami didn't want to talk to her about what had happened yesterday.

So she just went to her seat sat down, and waited for the class to start.

Personality: Most of the time he appears as a serious person, but as he gets to know someone he slowly starts to show more compassion for that person. He hates weak minded people for accepting the system as it is.

Background: Gekido lived most of his childhood as a normal person, doing everything as he was advices by his parents and teachers. Life was pretty cheerful, as time went by the truth about this world started to come out. Gluttony, greed, hatred and every evil in this world showed itself to him as started to watch the world instead of just accepting it. As soon as he finished high-school he left from home in the idea that he will bring change to this world. He soon found out that a normal man cannot achieve such a huge task.
After seeing his inability, a strong depression hit him, alcohol becoming his close friend. He now lives almost as a homeless man, sleeping where he can. But deep in his mind he hopes for a new hope in his remaining life.

I entered the city library after taking the morning bus. It wasn't as crowded as people made it sound. I went around to the computer area, and turned on the computer, having it scan my library card for access. I try for about an hour to find the name of that one place that appeared first in my dream. Something 4-something. With only 4 and it being a jail to go off of, I didn't have any success in tracking it down. Though, I did find something on Area 4-3, Area 4-4 and Area 4-6 prisons, which made me think that this place I saw had to do with the Area 4 prisons of Mitakihara City.

With no more luck, I leave the library at about 9am, and head towards the police office, to see if they would know anything. They didn't. Though they did tell me it was odd that there was a number missing from the set I found. Area 4-5. As soon as they said that, it clicked. I could remember the dream vividly, for the first part, and that it was a horrible place, and that I should try to avoid the person with a cross as much as possible, is what my gut told me. But just thinking it was a dream, I dismissed it.

I decided to stop by the shopping district to pick up some groceries. After which, I proceeded to head home, deep in thought.
