((OOC: This is a joint post between me and Katsucha and Zandorf, we wrote this together through Pirate pad, something awesome that everyone wanting to write a joint post with someone should use.))
After lunch had ended, Soju had to go back to the council room, since they had to start planning on which clubs would have to be disbanded or their funding cut. They argued back and forth, though it was mostly one-sided. The VP, Secretary, and Relations members of the council were all guys, and they were a part of that accursed fan club they started about her. Even with the council president on hrt side, every time Soju brought up the idea of cutting that fan club's budget, they would threaten to disband the pole-arms club, which Soju and the president were in. All that was needed to disband a club was a majority vote. With only five council members, you'd be able to guess who was at a majority. And that fan club had the largest budget out of every club, what they spent it on, was anyone's guess. At the end of the school day, everyone could only agree to disband the drama club, as they only had two members, and to cut the funding for the touhou game club. They still had to decide what to cut to keep them out of the red. A cut that would come close to an additional ¥200,000.
"That was long, boring and unproductive. I guess I should go home now." Soju said as she stretched her muscles out.
The gates to the school were crowded as people were starting to head home. As Soju passed through the gates on her way home, she forgot that she needed to get some groceries for the dinner tonight. She started her walk towards the shopping district, using the branch she had found, and hidden, earlier as a walking stick.
About halfway to the shopping district, Soju saw a girl that was starring at something on her hand. The girl looked a couple years older than herself, just by the size of her bust, and she was wearing the uniform of someone who went to Mitakihara High School. Due to getting curious, she decided to follow her, just to make sure she was alright. She also noticed another girl who was following the strange girl. She looked about the same age, and had the same uniform on as the other strange girl. Soju decided to remain as quiet as she could as she followed the two strange girls. It was the weirdest thing, following these girls, the first girl never once looked up from what was in her hands. She never ran into anyone, and for the last ten minutes, she took roads no one was on, except the three of them. The second girl, just as quietly as her, followed the first. And finally the first girl looked up from what she held, to look at the strange, empty and abandoned house in front of her. The house wasn't in too bad of a condition. In fact, the house looked recently abandoned.
"This is strange." Soju said as she looked around, "There should be people around, even during this time of day.".
She got more curious as the time went on, and decided to continue to spy on the strange girl.
After arriving in the shopping district, Usami bought some vegetables, fruits and meats that she needed. "I guess now I can head home and make dinner. I wonder if Manager-san would like some," Usami smiled at the idea when she suddenly tripped and fell, "Ouch!! That hurts...", Usami said as she held some of her tears back. After getting back up, brushing the dust off of her clothes, Usami started walking back home. Though on her way home Usami caught a glimpse of who seemed to be Aoi "Was that princess? I wonder what she would be doing out in this area." Usami decided to follow her for a bit.
Aoi saw the round gate to the witch's barrier before her, and walked forward; entering the gate.
As soon as Usami got to where she thought she saw Aoi walk to, she was gone. "Was I seeing things?", Usami thought to herself, but upon a closer inspection, she noticed something strange from where she thought she saw Aoi disappear. She then approached the abondoned house "What is this thing?", Usami said as she examined the strange rift in front of her.
Soju suddenly saw the first mysterious girl disappear into what seemed to be some sort of a gateway. After she went through the gate, she saw the second girl approach the same place the first girl went through. she saw her examining the gate, as if contemplating whether to go in or not.
"What is she doing?" Soju said as the second girl continues to look at the gate.
"Did princess really go through this thing? Hmm, I wonder if I should follow her," Usami said as she put her hand on the rift. "I guess here goes nothing!".
All of a sudden, Soju saw the second girl disappear into the same gate the first did. Now, her mind starts racing.
"I don't know what is going on, but I should probably go and see if the senpais are alright," Soju said as she mustered up her courage.
She walked over to the gate and hesitated as she saw it. She then slowly raised her hand to the gate and slowly stepped through it, and entered into one of her worst nightmares.
Aoi looked around on the layout of the new world she found herself in after entering. She could see the silver sky and the abnormal environment, filled with tools, wrenches, and all the items that can be found on a garage or a workshop, and realized how everything within the barrier was moving at high speed, while she was walking forward, the gem on her hand was aglow all the while, and then a Dora appeared before her.
"Heh, bring it on!", then, Aoi the Mahou Shoujo, transformed, her cloths were replaced with a blue dress, a cape materialized, and her shoes transfigured into pink boots. On her right hand, a heavy broad sword appeared.

"What is this place?" Usami said as she saw the abnormal environment. [/b]"I need to get out of here."[/b] Usami said as she started to step back and started running back where she came through.
"This isn't happening, this isn't happening..", Soju said repeatedly as she started to traverse in the abnormal environment. As she moved further and further into the environment, she suddenly saw this huge monster appear from no where. Soju freaked out, she dropped the stick that she was holding, while pissing her pants, she ran in the opposite direction.
After not being able to find the gateway she came through, Usami started to panic even more. She then started to run off in a different direction, but after a bit, she stopped, frozen in her tracks. "What is that thing...?", she said, as a strange creature started approaching her, tears began flowing down from her eyes, as soon as the monster got a bit more closer, she was somehow able to force herself to run away.
Aoi, charged towards the Dora, with her strength, she wielded her sword in great speed, and slashed it a few times and it died, after which it vanished from existence.
While Soju ran in the opposite direction of that horrible monster, she couldn't escape the one that now appeared ahead, in the middle of the environment, before her. At this point, she broke down and didn't care anymore. she only stared at the incredible monster, and wept, thinking that it was the end.
After Usami ran away, she no longer paid attention to where she was running. In her mind, she just wanted to get away from that creature. Then all of a sudden, Usami tripped on something and hit the floor, face first.
When something hit Soju, she fell onto her face and looked at what hit her, and it turned out to be the second girl that she saw entering this place.
"Ouch!! That one really hurt." Usami said as she went up onto her knees, rubbing her nose from the pain she felt from hitting the floor. "What did I just hit!?. Usami said as she turned around to see what she hit and to her surprise, there on her knees were a girl that looked around her age and was wearing the same uniform as her.
Soju got onto my knees, and scramble over to the girl. With at least two people together, this place should be less scary, thought Soju.
Usmai noticed the girl had gotten closer to her, but she didn't back away. Usami didn't want to be alone in this place anymore.
Kyubey could see the two girls, from far away, "Who would have thought, that the both of them would be in such a place at the same time?".
When Aoi saw the other Dora, she threw her sword towards it, stabbing it to death. The same sword materialized on her right hand.
Soju then saw the monster die and tried to get closer to the girl.
"Hey, d-did you s-see th-those things... those m-monsters?!" Soju stuttered as she scrambled closer to the girl, tears still flowing down her eyes.
"Yes I s-saw them, but what were they and what is this place?", Usami said as she hugged the girl after seeing the monster die. "I think we should get out here together! I don't want to stay here anymore!".
Soju hugged the girl back, crying a little more onto her shoulder, but feeling a lot better now, since she was with another person in such a horrible place.
"I-I think we should leave here too... b-but is there a way out? Soju said as she looked at the girl's face.
"I-I don't know! Earlier while running back to the way I came in, the exit was gone and I haven't seen anything that looked like one either. Why did I follow that stupid princess?! I should have just gone home!!", Usami said as she hugged the girl tighter and crying more.
"How can that be?! The exit disappeared?! What do we do now? I don't want to stay in here for the rest of my life!, Soju said as she now started to hyperventilate from an oncoming panic attack.
Usami started to wipe the girl's tears away as soon as she saw the girl hyperventilating, "Hey, are you okay?! Please calm down a little. I don't want to be here alone, so please calm down," Usami said with nervousness in her voice.
Soju couldn't hear the girl's voice anymore. she clutched onto the girl's shirt as hard as she could, trying to take deep breaths, but to no avail, it was a full panic attack, and she didn't knew how long it'd last.
When Usami saw that the girl's breathing weren't calming down, she raised her hand and gave her a slapped to her face. "Please calm down! We need to calm down, the both of us!", Usami said as she tried holding back more of her tears.
That slap was all that was needed for Soju. It snapped her right out of her panic attack, granted she stopped breathing for a moment, her heartbeat rate settled back down.
"Th-Thank you for that, I always have really bad panic attacks when I get really scared!", was all Soju could muster up to say, though she still had tears filling up her eyes.
"It was nothing. But now I think we should get out here. I don't want to be near those monsters if more of them were to come," Usami said as she tried to get back up on her feet while trembling.
As the girl tried to get back to her feet, Soju let go of her.
"B-But if there's no exit, where should we go?! We can't stay here, and there's no where else to go to either...", Soju said as she curled up, hugging her legs in a sitting position, crying on her knees.
"There has to be a way out!", Usami said as she tried to regain control of her legs. Then she remembered about the Princess, "I just remembered something. There's another person here. If we can find Princess, maybe we can find a way out, at least, I hope so. So please get a hold of yourself and let's look for her!", Usami said as she reached out for the girl's hand while trying her best to stay calm. She knew herself, that even if they found the Princess, they might still be stuck there forever.
Wiping the remaining tears from her eyes, Soju looked at the hand offered to her. It took all she had to grab onto that gentle yet firm hand. As she helped Soju up, she still wasn't sure about what to do.
"I'll follow you. Though I think we should go in that direction," Soju said as she pointed to the darkest part of the environment from behind the girl's shoulder.
Usami looked behind her to see where the girl was pointing at. Usami just shuddered at what she saw. "Why do you want us to head that way?!", Usami said as she looked at the girls face waiting for a response.
I wasn't too sure about why I pointed in that direction myself. I just had something like a gut feeling and felt that it'd be the best place to find the person this girl calls 'Princess'.
"I just have a feeling. I thought it might lead us to that girl... What's yours and that girl's name, if I may ask? Mine is Soju, Soju Kimura," Soju said as she tried to get the conversation off of all this sadness and pain.
"My name is Usami, Usami Hiiragi, and the other girl's name is Aoyama Aoi. We are both classmates. Well, we should get moving. Let's talk a bit more while walking. We wouldn't know when more of those monsters will pop up again," Usami said as she grabbed Soju's hand and started walking in the direction she had pointed.
Holding onto Usami-senpai's hand, Soju follows her into the darkness.
As the two girls walks closer and closer to the darkness, they find themselves in front of a small, white, and an odd creature.
"Soju, wait. There's another creature ther,." Usami said as her grip onto Soju's hand tightens.
At hearing senpai's voice, Soju stopped right behind her.
"What is that senpai... ?", she whispered to Usami-senpai.
"I have no clue, it looks like a cat, but it doesn't seem like it wants to attack," Usami said as she examined the creature from a distance. "What are you!?", Usami asked with a louder yet nervous voice.
Despite senpai's reassuring words, Soju was still scared of the small creature in front of them. Of course, already wetting herself didn't help with her confidence either. And it was starting to carry the odor.
"Or, who are you!?", Soju yelled at it, asking timidly from behind her senpai.
"I'm Kyubey, its nice to meet the both of you, Soju Kimura-san, and Usami Hiiragi-san," Kyubey said as he walked closer to the girls.
"It knows our names... Soju stay close to me, though I need to ask you something about a smell coming from you later,".
"More importantly than it knowing our names, how can it talk!?", she said to her senpai. And when her senpai brought it up about the smell, Soju's face turns scarlet red.
"After being chased by a monster, seeing this strange environment, I don't think a talking creature can really be that surprising,".
"I speak through telepathy. If you want to be able to defeat these monsters, make a contract with me!", Kyubey offered.
"Contract? What do you mean by contract? What would I get in return for making a contract with you?!", Soju timidly ask the...no, Kyubey.
Usami stood there waiting for Kyubey's response after Soju asked it about the contract.
"The terms of the contract, is that I'll grant any one wish you make, whatever it is, I can grant it. But in return, you'll have to fight the witches and wizards and become a mahou shoujo!".
"What do you mean by a wish? And how would you be granting our wish and make us a mahou shoujo?".
"I mean what I mean, Soju-san, no matter what the wish is, I'll grant it for you if you agree to make a contract with me, I have the power to grant any wishes and turn you into a mahou shoujo, which I'm going to use, obviously,".
"Soju, listen, I know you're scared and want to get out of here but I don't think we should trust it. As far as we know, it could just be another monster trying to trick us,".
"Oh my, I'm being mistaken for a witch's familiar now,, Kyubey sighed with disappointed.
"I'm willing to believe anything at this point now, senpai, even th...Kyubey. I just want to get out of here, I don't want to be scared anymore, nor do I ever want to feel those pains from my panic attacks ever again. You know that I have about an average of 3 a day right?!".
"I'm sorry, but I just can't trust it. I still think our best shot is for us to find Princess,.
"No, I don't want to be here anymore. I'm going with Kyubey..." she said as she released her senpai's hand.
Just as Kyubey was about speak again, he stopped, and a sound of an explosion could be heard.
Aoi walked deeper into the dimension of the barrier, then faced Gisela, the owner of the barrier, speedometers could be seen all over the place now. Aoi jumped towards the witch, in an attempt to attack it...
More explosions could be heard, suddenly, then, the dimension disappeared. And everything returned to normal.

"Soju, listen, I know you're scared and want to get out of here but I don't think we should trust it. As far as we know, it could just be another monster trying to trick us,".

"I'm willing to believe anything at this point now, senpai, even th...Kyubey. I just want to get out of here, I don't want to be scared anymore, nor do I ever want to feel those pains from my panic attacks ever again. You know that I have about an average of 3 a day right?!".
"I'm sorry, but I just can't trust it. I still think our best shot is for us to find Princess,.
"No, I don't want to be here anymore. I'm going with Kyubey..." she said as she released her senpai's hand.
Just as Kyubey was about speak again, he stopped, and a sound of an explosion could be heard.
Aoi walked deeper into the dimension of the barrier, then faced Gisela, the owner of the barrier, speedometers could be seen all over the place now. Aoi jumped towards the witch, in an attempt to attack it...

More explosions could be heard, suddenly, then, the dimension disappeared. And everything returned to normal.

As the barrier faded away, the environment returned back to its normal form, Aoi looked down on the tiny egg-shaped black item before her on the floor before her, on the room which lacked the sun light... or any windows.
She came out of the room, shifting her eyes to Kyubey... and to her surprise, the other two girls, Hiiraga Usami's presence has surprised her, greatly at that, its odd when the girl who was being rude with you and left off, flaunting her obnoxious attitude, and is then suddenly before you again. She tried not to be surprised, and maintained her normal-looking face.
"You two, I have only but one thing to say... don't become a Mahou Shoujo,".
Kyubey sighed, "You don't change at all, do you, Sora?".

As I had taken a step towards Kyubey, I suddenly heard explosions coming from somewhere. As they started to die down, the environment began to shift and change. It changed back to the abandoned house that we had followed Aoyama-sempai to earlier.
I just stood there, frozen. I didn't know what to think anymore. We were just in a horrible nightmare-like land, but now we were back to our normal world. Normal. As soon as I regained my determination to go with Kyubey, I see Aoyama-sempai emerge from the room she had been in.

Emi is awoken by the sound of the front door being slammed shut, and she hears the sound of Varg's voice. She sits up and looks at the clock. "8:37... what?!" She scurries out of the couch and hurries into the hallway to meet her beloved.
"W-Welcome home, honey." She says awkwardly, surprised by Varg's early return.
"Did you wait long?"
Emi shakes her head and says while blushing, "Well, I actually fell asleep..." Varg smiles softly, and pats Emi on the head. Her cheeks flush even redder, and she asks, "How was your day?" with a smile on her face.
Varg sweetly smiles, but with a trace of sadness in his expression. Varg had always kept his occupation as a warden a secret from Emi. Instead, he had told her that he was a simple, normal security officer. She was never to know about his cruel and sadistic work as a warden of death.
And she would certainly never know of how much he enjoyed it.
"...today was short. I had asked for a early leave today, for your sake." He masks his lie behind his smile, and he suddenly holds her.
Emi is taken by surprise with Varg's sudden embrace. She puts her arms around Varg and hugs him tight. As he holds Emi, Varg silently apologizes to her. She looks up into Varg's eyes and asks, "Whats wrong?" with a worried look on her face.
"I just wanted to feel your warmth."
She hugs him close for a while, then lets go. "I was just about to make some breakfast, you want some?" She says as she walks towards the kitchen.
"Sure, I'll have some."
"Great, I was thinking of making an omelette, anything in particular you want in it?"
"What do we have?"
"The usual."
"Then, I'd like some sausages."
"Alright, I'll make one with sausages then." She skips cheerily into the kitchen. She turns on the stove, takes out the ingredients for the omelette, and begins making one. As Emi works in the kitchen, Varg sits down on one of the chairs by the dinner table, and watches over her. Not long after, Emi skillfully makes two omelettes and places them on separate dishes, and brings them to the dinner table. She places a dish in front of Varg, and the other dish down with her as she sits down beside Varg. They smile at each other and both clap their hands together.
"Itadakimasu!" They said in unison. As they eat, Emi suddenly asks, "You know... I still haven't seen you at work, so I was thinking if I could go with you some time?" she asks with a coy smile.
Varg's hands freeze up for a moment as she asks, but resumes eating. He remains silent for a few moments. Emi puts her chopsticks down next to her plate and looks up to Varg and says, "Is something wrong, dear?"
"No, nothing. I was just thinking of when would be a good day for it. When would you like to go?"
"I'm actually free tomorrow as well, if that works for you."
Varg thinks deeply about what he would say. Would he lie to her? How would he do it? "No..." He tries to clear his mind of such thoughts. He felt ashamed that he would so easily consider deceiving Emi. However, even with his guilt, he would not not so simply cease his hypocrisy. Emi must be prevented from discovering his secret, at any cost. However, if he feels it would not be a wise decision to neglect her curiosity. But how? Where would he take her...? What would he show her...?
"What's wrong dear? You look pale." Emi asks as she places her left hand on his right hand.
As he hears those words, Varg collects himself, trying to erase the anxiety that must have been expressing. After a short pause, Varg responds calmly, "No, it's nothing. I think I can take you to my workplace tomorrow. But you'll have to wake up early. How does that sound?"
"Sure, that sounds lovely. I'm looking forward to it!" Emi says with a pleased smile. She retracts her hand and picks up the chopsticks and resumes eating.
Varg returns into deep thought as he eats. He would have to contact the prison sometime soon... but that is a matter for later. He would forget about the issue, acknowledging that his recklessness may cost him later, and would spend the rest of the day in leisure with his beloved.
"Would you like to go anywhere today, dear? Varg asks happily. "I did come home early just for you. It's not every day you are free."
Emi puts the last piece of the omelette in her mouth, finally finishing it all. She puts down her chop sticks and answers with, "I saw this beautiful dress in the mall yesterday, so I was thinking we could go?" Emi says as if it was already decided. Varg catches the notion and shows an expression of resignation. "Sure, of course. I might buy it for you, if it's not too expensive." Varg reaches into his back pocket and takes out his wallet, skims through the contents, and puts it back into his pocket. Varg also finishes his omelette, smiles at Emi, and says, "Thank you for the breakfast, dear." Varg stands up, takes his and Emi's plates, and walks into the kitchen. Emi brightly smiles, and responds, "You're welcome, I hope it was to your liking~" As Varg cleans the dishes, Emi sneaks up behind him and hugs wraps her arms around his waist. Varg becomes a bit surprised.
"What is it, dear?"
"You know what I want~" She says seductively.

Varg is the first to wake. He slowly opens his eyes, and sits up from his lying position. Looking around, he sees the scattered clothing that was tossed upon the floor with wild abandon. He sees his blue uniform, his undershirt, his boxers, and his clothes that Emi was wearing... along with her undergarments.
He feels a warm sensation by his right. There, Emi is sleeping with her back turned to him, covered up to the top of her neck by her blanket. Varg smiles at the sight. He reaches over for the window to his left, pulls up the blinds and opens the window. A cool breeze flowed through it's blinds, and the sun, now high in the sky, basks the room in sunlight, giving a fulfilling warmth with the gentle wind.
Emi gradually wakes as the bright light fills the room. She opens her eyes, sits upright, cutely covering her body with the blanket as she does so. Varg turns to look at Emi, and they gaze in each others' eyes, less than a foot apart
"How are you feeling, dear?"
Emi lightly taps Varg on the cheek, as if trying to slap him. She gives Varg a joyful smile, and pouted, "You were too rough! My hips... I still can't move them yet..."
"But... it was good." Emi quickly gives Varg a light kiss on the cheek. Varg returns Emi's smile.
"What time is it?" Emi asks.
Varg glances at the clock beside him. "It's fourteen twenty-two."
"Hey~ Can we go to the mall now? You promised to buy me that beautiful dress!" Emi says with irresistably cute eyes that seemed to plead.
Varg chuckles, and sweetly responds, "Of course, dear." He steps out of bed, and puts on his undershirt and his boxers. However, sensing something was amiss, he looks back at the bed.
"Is something wrong?"
Emi glares at him. With a sullen look, she pouts, "Did you already forget...? I can't move my hips, you beast! Idiot!...could you carry me again?" She smiles coyly.
Varg lifts the blanket off of her, and carries Emi to the bathroom. They take a bath together, and taking turns washing each other... as well as a few other things. After they finish, Varg wears a simple casual shirt, black denim jeans, a blazer and his "Iron Cross" pendant around his neck.
Emi ties her hair into a ponytail, puts on a sweaterdress, a pair of tights, and her glasses.
Curious, Varg decides to check up on Emi while she's prepping herself in the bathroom. As Varg opens the door and sees Emi's reflection in the mirror, Varg's eyes widen in astonishment. He smiles and says cooly,
"I'll be honest... you're beautiful."
"E-Eh?!"
Surprised, she fumbles and drops the makeup utencil in her hand. She then looks at Varg and says, "W-What are you saying? D-Don't surprise me like that!..." with her cheeks flushed red. "B-But... thank you..." She stands up, and quickly kisses him on his lips, with Varg returning it.
"Now, shall we head out?"
Emi links her arm with Varg's, leaning her head against Varg's shoulder, and responds "Yeah, lets!" Deciding to go on foot, the couple leave the house, and set out for the mall.

After entering inside, I take my toothbrush after I put the tooth paste on it and start to brush up my teeth, looking at the reflection of my face, in the mirror up front. "This year is getting better and better by the day," I thought to myself as I stare at my own reflection. When I finished cleaning my teeth, I take a shower trying to get rid of the abundand sweat.
Exiting the bathroom feeling tired, I yawn. Looking tired, I look for the clothes I wore yesterday. Searching for them took me some time. It took about half an hour perhaps, but after I found them, I dressed up while looking in the mirror.
"I guess this dress wasn't pretty enough...", I said in disappointment.
"What did you say dear?", my mom said with a smile on her face.
"Does this dress make me look bad?", I asked her.
"Well, you have broad shoulders, they'd probably come in handy when you would protect a beautifull girl," she said looking proud.
"Really mom? I don't want to protect the ones who keeps tormenting me for being different... What makes you think that I could turn blind eye huh?", I responded with frustration while undressing, trying to find another dress, a feminine one this time.
As I searched for a dress on my dorm, I look at the time. It was 7:50, shocked due to the time passing by so fast, I ask my mom to lend me her special dress. After a short while, I get dressed and went to school in a hurry, trying to catch the train to school.

Elizabeth looked up to see the same "girl" from yesterday, glaring at her. "Hi". Elizabeth automatically replied and watched apathetically as the girl took the seat next to her. For one, today's train was much less crowded.
But back to the matter at hand.
Overnight, she had learned quite a lot about Maruisawa Casashian. He was almost a textbook case of some really screwed-up parenting from what her deliquent "friends" told her. A boy that was convinced that he was a girl. A boy that wanted to be a girl, and ignored all the abuse hurled at him since the middle school. Elizabeth didn't find that even pathetic. It was just sad.
But that also gave her a rope to bind that little boy around her finger like a little doll. Elizabeth smiled. It wasn't a kind smile.
14 minutes later...
As both girls (or rather, a girl and a boy), made their way through the train station, Elizabeth grasped Casashian's hand.
"You're coming with me." Ignoring the boy's weak protest, she dragged him through the crows down below the street. No less then a minute later, Elizabeth found sufficiently dark and remote alley. She shoved him into it and pressed him to the wall. He's more anemic then I imagined...Shame

After hearing Elizabeth quickly reply, I look around, searching for a seat. Unfortunate, it was, but the only available seat was the one near her.

She leans in closely and breathed into his ear and she could her a small, sharp breath. She wondered whenever she got so close because Casashain was more of a boy, or because "she" was so separated from all the other people.
Elizabeth pulled back and smiled.
"We should probably get going though, we wouldn't want to be late, would we?" And thus she started dragging her newest "ally" through the alley towards the school. Elizabeth had to be there early now. Tell the gang to ease up on newest "recruit". She was sure there wouldn't be much bargaining involved. Just sick those delinquents at the girl and boys that abused Mariusawa. She hated a few of them personally, so it's not like it was a problem for her, and she knew that as long as she kept the delinquents out of law's hands, they would do as she said.

And then it was gone.
Elizabeth rapidly turned around and searched the area, covering the entryway to the school. There was nothing. Just the usual stream of students going to school. Fighting to shake off the oppressing feeling, Elizabeth willed her body to move, and went straight for the classroom.

The day moved slowly as every other day. Nothing exciting ever happened. Nothing exciting will ever happen the way she moved about her day. The same usual motions, the same results. Doing the same thing over and over hoping for something to change that never will.
