This Role-play (RP) is a spinoff of the anime; Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica, with some changes here and there, but following most of the mechanism/terminology of the anime, those who haven't watched the anime are encouraged to join, as they are NOT, required to watch the anime, provided information should be enough for you to play the game with ease. Also, you don't HAVE to be a female (mahou shoujo), you can be a Mahou Shounen (Magical Boy), and even decide to play as an adult who won't be a magical girl/boy. Now that we're done with that. Let's move on to the details of this game.
Rules:
1.) If you're not used to RPing or don't know how to RP, please read the RP guide
2.) Please use the OOC to speak, comment or ask about something. While you're at it, try to keep your posts clean, don't quote other users while playing, if you post pictures to maybe show what move your Original Character (OC) makes, or show a picture of a weapon, person, or anything, spoiler it.
3.) Don't control other player's characters without their permission.
4.) Please be in-character; don't act as though your OC knows about a certain fact while he/she shouldn't know and act upon it.
5.) Play fair, especially on combats, if you're gonna lose, then lose, or run, don't just do instant dodging or blocking, its annoying, and say your character is alright all the time, its annoying, and its called munching.
6.) Post often please, it won't matter to me if you're busy, but please try to keep up at least three times a week? Yes, I'm asking that much out of you... for now. And if you're gonna be really busy with life, don't bother. I'm sorry.

She also, comes from a fairly influential family, one at which Japanese traditions are still maintained, she can be found wearing beautiful kimonos at her place.

Background: A person from a poor family, who always dreamed to be rich, formal and elegant-looking, but took a different path along the way, and his dream turned to nothing more than a secondary wish. He studies on Tokyo high school, third year, and is really popular with the girls, and may be found surrounded by girls most of the time, or with some of his male friends. Appearance: Her cloths will be exactly like this on the pic when she transforms into a mahou shoujo.
Personality: She is mostly cold and even hostile towards another person before she'd get to know them, trust them, and start opening up more and eventually showing a warmer side herself. Her pictures from her modeling are usually seen with smiles on her faces when people sees her on the magazines, and on other places. But in person, when not doing actual modeling, she's not seen with that smile.
Background: Aoi, from the Aoyama family, is a girl from a family that was once known to be wealthy, but now facing problems due to their unsuccessful business recently. They her family is trying to keep up their elegance, and is clinging to the ranks of the higher society, and so does Aoi. Although it has quickly became a rumor that she left an academy where all the weather students study and transferred to Mitakihara high school, a month ago.
She had never made many friends throughout her life, after transferring to Mitakihara high school, people gathered around her everyday, and they'd follow around her as well, and she felt that they were her friends and hung around with them for shopping, karaoke, etc, and were happy, but then she realized soon that they were either just attracted to the mysterious air about her or just wanted use her money in whatever ways possible, and so she doesn't pay much attention to them anymore and has started to become distant, thus, she's lonely. And thinks that having "friends" is pretty much nonsense.
She is quite intellect, and has the capability of being one of the top scorers on her school, everyone's eyes falls on her whenever she passes walks by. Due to the problems Aoi's family is facing with business, she barely gets any allowances every month, for her at least, and her expenses are quite high, due to this, she had recently started doing a job of modelling.
She had became a Mahou Shoujo long go after making a contract with Kyubey.

Background: Born and raised by the local church after her parents were killed by some robbers, back when she was 3 years old. She doesn't remember her parents, their voices, or images. And by being raised by people of the cloth, she naturally grew up to hate their ways, rebelled and started living out on her own by the age of 12. She works part time in a cake shop located in central Mitakihara. Due to the good graces of the owners, she lives in the apartment located above the shop, which is also located 20 minutes walking distance to Mitakihara Middle School, where she is the ideal honors student. She is also the Student Council's treasurer, and thus handles all the money coming and going from the student budget. She also started up the pole-arms club at Mitakihara Middle School, to where people practice the quarterstaff, halberd, spear, and those types of weapons. She is the President of the Pole-Arms club, which surprisingly has over 20 members, and naturally wields the halberd. She has lead the team to countless regional and national victories, even over the more advanced High School Pole-Arms clubs, earning her great respect, jealousy, and a swarm of male admirers (who made their own club called: The Soju Kimura Fan Club).

Background: Hiiragi ran away from home at the of age 13 after her parents tried selling her off to pay a huge debt they had accumulated. She was able to find a place to live in but thanks to one of her aunts who allowed her to stay in her place since she herself wasn't staying there. Hiiragi started working at a maid cafe after the manager there saw her and asked her if she would work for him. But soon after her aunt told her parents of her location, she had to run away once again but thanks to her manager; she was able to find a safer place to stay at. Currently, Hiiragi is going to school and working part time in order to be able to provide for herself with her needs and to show her thanks to the manager.

His friend, Ryuya, died jumping off the roof of Kitano Mall, in what looks like a mass suicide. Everyone believed it to be suicide but Tsukasa knew better. The few hours before the suicide, Ryuya was acting very strange. Tsukasa and Ryuya were just hanging out near around the mall when Ryuya suddenly burst out in tears and apologized repeatedly. Tsukasa had tried to help Ryuya to no avail up until Ryuya's death. Tsukasa believes someone was threatening Ryuya and he won't stop until he finds the culprit.

Background: Tanaka Emi (surname: Tanaka) was born in Kobe, Japan. For most of her childhood, she went to private all-girl schools. When she was eighteen, she decided to study abroad at a university in Stockholm, Sweden. It was her first co-ed school. By the time she arrived, however, she was not fully fluent in Swedish, so her colleagues derided her for her illiteracy and her accent. Around that time, she became acquainted with a man, who was a fellow classmate in several of her classes, named Varg Vildhjärta (User: "Raikadashi"). Feeling isolated, she came to him in desperation, seeking help. They gradually became close friends since then, developed a relationship, and eventually moved in together. After a few years, Emi decideds to return to Japan, and Varg decides to travel to Japan with her. They arrive in Mitakihara. Emi decides to continue her life there, living with Varg and continuing her studies.

However, possibly being just a mere pretense, his personality changes as a warden...
Background: At the age of 17, he studied law at a university in Stockholm, Sweden. At it, he became acquainted with Tanaka Emi (User: "A Thousand Suns"), and developed a relationship with her. He secretly became a special law enforcement officer unbeknownst to her, working for services under the government of Sweden, as well as receiving training for firearms. When Emi decided to return to Japan, he decided to stay with her, traveling to Mitakihara. There, he finished his education in law. He received authorization to wield firearms. Not only that, he learns, became proficient, and even specializing, with a Japanese sword, as well as being secretly authorized to wield one. Soon after, he established connections with private military establishments, organizations, and as well as certain branches Japanese government. He became a warden of a specialized and private prison that he built, privately endorsed by the government of Japan and many organizations. He kept his job a secret from Emi, for he feared that she will trouble her if she finds out about his nefarious lifestyle. When not as Varg the Warden, he lives with lover Emi, supporting her in her work affairs and her studies.

She had never made many friends throughout her life, after transferring to Mitakihara high school, people gathered around her everyday, and they'd follow around her as well, and she felt that they were her friends and hung around with them for shopping, karaoke, etc, and were happy, but then she realized soon that they were either just attracted to the mysterious air about her or just wanted use her money in whatever ways possible, and so she doesn't pay much attention to them anymore and has started to become distant, thus, she's lonely. And thinks that having "friends" is pretty much nonsense.
She is quite intellect, and has the capability of being one of the top scorers on her school, everyone's eyes falls on her whenever she passes walks by. Due to the problems Aoi's family is facing with business, she barely gets any allowances every month, for her at least, and her expenses are quite high, due to this, she had recently started doing a job of modelling.

On Mitakihara, sitting at the top of the fence on a tall building, with red glowing eyes on the dark, at the dead of night, his long and soft looking ears, were flapping against each other due to the strong blowing breeze.
While he was sitting there, the magical girl fought the Witch, releasing green glowing arrows to the Witch from the bow which she held on her right hand. Soon after, the battle was over, but before it was over, she was bitten.

April 20th, early in the morning at 6:25 am, a girl comes running to the strange white creature after shouting out, "Kyubey!!", she explains that an immensely powerful Witch will make its way to one of Mitakihara, Tokyo, or Osaka. The girl was wounded, bleeding, healing herself with magic again and again, she found herself still dying, unable to understand what was going on, she asked Kyubey about it, and his answer was, "I have to regretfully inform you, Shirasawa Hirai, that you have received a dangerous poison that is beyond your power of healing, from the Witch you faced awhile ago, unfortunately, there is no possible to way to survive it now, since its too late to reverse its effects as well. I must thank you for the information though, I'll inform the one who'll protect this city about it!". Hirai's tears drove out of her eyes, as she begged him to tell her if there is still a way to save herself, and his only reply was:
"Of course there are some way, but only two ways to be exact though; The first way is, have a boy or a girl whose age is 10 - 16 years old make a contract with me and then have him or her make a wish to remove your curse. The second way is, get a magical boy or a girl with strong enough healing powers to heal you,".

That girl walked by again, in the neighborhood, while going to her school. That girl whom everyone gives strange stares to, and sometimes end up gossiping about. It is no wonder that people would talk, gossip, even spread rumors about, the girl is unusual to the people, while having the blood of the Japanese, the hair dyed apricot color, the beauty of her face, being a member of a family known throughout the country, and seemingly foreign, while being not in actuality.
Her departure from home had led her to Mitakihara High School, when she entered the classroom, she Aoi felt that the students went silent for a moment, but she felt that maybe she was imagining it, and avoided that thought. She sat down on her seat, unknowing of her popularity, to her, her loneliness seemed everlasting...
Her class, the class 2:1, was her class. The class was to begin after some minutes...

The beginning of the school day is fast approaching. I can start to hear all of the students gathering near the front gates. It sounds like it will be tough to get to my homeroom class. Why did I have to sleep in this day? This day was important, as it was the annual school budget meeting, and being the treasurer, this was the most important part of her term as the treasurer.
"...Maybe I should go around to the back entrance of Mitakihara Middle School."
I go around to the back of the school and I meet the usual delivery man, from the cake shop I work at.
"Good morning Soju."
"I'm doing good, but late. See you later Harold"
I enter through the back door to the kitchen, the one Harold was using, and I make my way through the crowded corridors to my homeroom of 3:3. I thought to myself, (Whew. I made it just in time).

The alarm came off.
Hearing the known noise I stretch my arm trying to press the turn off button. Succeeding on his second try I stand up yawning. Taking my first steps toward the bathroom mirror I look at the reflection in front.
"This time Ill make things right! No more gender changing... this time I'll be a girl! I told towards the tired person who is staring at me.
After leaving the bathroom I pick up one of the dresses that were gifted to me by my mom. Spinning two times to try it on seeing if it will fit me I say "This is perfect!" I said while turning my head towards the clock.
"This much time had past?... I'll better take off and go to the open ceremony! I said that while heading my way down stares.
Walking elegantly towards the school main gate while keeping my head down I throw curious glimpses towards my new high school colleague's. As I go through the metallic arch I notice that some of the girls and boys are staring at me. Trying to keep my head low I try to see if they are talking to each other.
Staring at a popular girl saying "Hee we have that guy here? He is the worst you know? Just look at him.. He isn't a girl.. I think he is doing this just to peep on us"
Trying to increase my pace so that I can seek refuge of those words I bump into a girl.
"I'm very sorry for bumping you..." I said with a sad voice.

I sat up and shaked my head, "Damn, I really need to go to sleep earlier..."
I walked to my alarm clock, picked up my pillow and turned off the alarm. I went back to my bed and put the pillow in it and started to dress up.
I went to the kitchen and started looking for some bread and found just a little bit left, "I need to go shopping today, I'll try to do that after school, speaking of school..." I looked at the time and started panicking, I was late!
"Damn, damn, damn, damn!" I rushed through the neighborhood with the bread still in my mouth.
I came to school, Tokyo high, and went to my locker. By this time I had eaten the bread and started looking for my locker key. And of course, I couldn't find it.
"Fuck!" I shouted, "I must've left it at home... I hope my teachers won't be that mad at me tho. They might lend a book for me to use on their lessons"
I went to my class, sat down and was instantly questioned by the teacher where I've been. I responded, "Uh, yeah, I over slept... Also, I forgot my locker key at home so can you tell that to the other teachers? They might borrow me a book to use on the lessons."
The teacher responded with "I can do that after this lesson. In the meanwhile take this book instead." He handed me a book and I started studying.
