I agree. Hundreds of visits to the thread, yet only a handful of people actually voting. It's a real shame that the turnout is getting even less with each successive round of voting!

yeah there has been a decline, idk if everyone is voting every time or only a few of us =_= its like some chose a favorite and stuck with just that one story! but without more votes how do we get a final poll lmao come on people vote!

Well, I didn't act like it was the end of the world...or did I? Anyway, I know it sucks to lose but I'm not that disappointed, I know I reap what I sow, so yeah, I'm not that all depressed, I'll be back harder next time! But I don't think overlooking grammar errors is such a proper way to judge a piece, only based on its plot. Grammar is the most basic measure to scale a story. How can you be a good author if you don't even use grammar correctly?

It's just mostly us visiting over and over and increasing the views count of the thread.

I'm just putting out personal preference, i prefer plot over grammar. You can have PERFECT grammar, but a crappy plot and i'd probably not like it. Of course, when i comment or review, i mostly try to tell them what they did grammatically wrong. But doing it in the contest would probably disqualify that person or my post will be removed so yeah. Good luck next time then! I'll, well probably be joining you in trying again. I may be presumptuous but seeing all these polls, the chances of me standing a chance at all in the finals is kinda...nil. Still, i wouldn't mind. never expected to make the finals =/.

Thanks to those who commented, too. Whether I get tons of votes or not, if enough people like the story then one of these days I might do a rewrite with my original premiss of a yandere robot. Instead of a vague Momoka, it'd likely look more like Yuno.

But considering the fact that you beat me in terms of votes in poll #3, you'd stand more of a chance than me to win the finals(even then we are up against tough competition).

I'm really happy that my story was appreciated enough to reach the finals, i'm already happy if someone enjoys a story i wrote.

Voted. Apologies to those who were in round three. It's been a rough week for me and I didn't have time to read all of the round 3 stories and thus cast my vote fairly..... so I didn't.

I figure its anyones game once we reach the finals, its stacking our stories up against a diffrent batch of stories, all of whom have proven their skill and have gotten the votes. ^_^ I'm happy to have such strong competitors and hopefully friends by the end of this fateful encounter.

in the end as everyone has said over and over. its just for fun and that's all that matters kupo!

Well, high_time like i said, i'm already happy that i made it to the finals at all! And i get my joy when people comment that they liked my story and that i gave someone a few minutes of entertainment with my story. It's a great feeling when you Give, and people appreciate it?

And Wayward Moogle, yea congrats on your movement to the finals! Proven skills, OR abused votes due to favoritism or biasedness? You can't help these things. But i'm glad that by skill alone i managed to get to the finals! I don't believe in asking friends to vote for you just to win...And yeah, this is a valuable experience to me! First competition i've ever been in online actually.

And To Rise...I wonder who? haha, people who are desperate to win resort to such desperate measures...I wouldn't really mind losing in a battle of skill and story, but to lose to influence and stuff like that, i can't help it but i'll probably feel even sadder.

Even if true (for both of them), it doesn't change a damn thing. Let's not start accusing people. (What desperate person would let their IRL friends know they like Hentai just to get a few more futile votes on a writer's contest after they register accounts?)
