[Locked] Seasonal Writing Contest 2011!

Letting the prize issues aside, I think this is a very good opportunity to garner constructive criticisms, which I've been lacking of throughout my entire year here~

I'm thinking of doing an experimental piece, how should I put it....I'm going to describe a musical performance about this song that's been running in my head about the snowy winter through written words, the subject is pretty befitting since I like listening to music very much and I also played musical instruments to add it up. Will also add the Fakku reference with the theme 'Tribute to Fakku - Musical Performance', would this suffice?

Yeah I know, I'll write it in 1500 words or less~

Experimental piece, eh? Interesting. It's gonna be fine as long as it's got Christmas, New Year or Winter as it's theme.

I have found out already that 1500 words is hard to get my point across with my story xD

[color=red][b]I hope a little bit of trimming here and there doesn't hurt to do so. Though I kind of understand why you wouldn't want to cut off parts of the story.

The participants last year had a tougher time trimming, just saying.

^_^ I'll make it work =D It is defiantly harder then I thought it was going to be in the beginning. I have a good beginning but the further I go on with it the harder it becomes to complete the plot and add the sexual stuff before I hit the limit xD I just want to keep going, =p I'm sure they did, since they had a lower limit xD.

Is it fine if I just write my story, trim it, submit the trimmed one but have the non-trimmed one somewhere on the site?

That's perfectly fine, just be sure to mark the version for the contest appropriately.
