It looks like I'm really out of time now, don't know if my second entry crossed the limits in the end or not.
I think my chances of winning are dead now...

You shouldn't be so hard on yourself, Rise-chan. You still have around 11 and a half hours (as of my post) to cut it down a sentence or two. I had to cut down both my stories around 100 to 150 words to fit the 1,000 because of my descriptive nature. You can get around by cutting a few words off here and there or even removing redundant sentences altogether. Look hard for excess and trim. You're a good writer with a good story to tell and unfortunately you have to do it in the word count given. You're talented enough that it's within your ability, so don't give up.

Don't fret Rise-chan, I have yet to finish mine.. and it finishes at 3pm today (my time.. since I'm 15 hours ahead of you guys ;D) and yeah.. i'm working at 12, so i have 30 minutes to get it done ><

Awwww... missed the deadline. Oh well, I had hope to post my first fakku lemon during the contest but my daughter kept my attention away from the laptop. Guess I'll post a lemon later.

That wasn't my point to tell the truth. I meant that I was logging due to my sis kicking me out of the PC and by the time I'd get the chance to login again, the contest will be over.
Me? Talented? lol That's not true at all, I'm just some lower-classed writer, who posted a series, days before the contest that's it. I don't have any talent... I'm a loser just as my family calls me...
