I suppose there's not much you can do about being kicked off unless you could have explained it to her that you were doing something that was really important to you. However, I suppose it is too late now. I find what you say about yourself to be very sad and disheartening, though. For one reason because you're honestly lying to yourself, and for another reason that you have no reason to. I found both your entries to be a thoroughly enjoying read, and I would like to hope that means something to you. If you like to write, then write. If you don't, then that's fine to, but don't go shooting yourself in the foot. It doesn't help you get better and ultimately only hurts yourself when you're surrounded by people who want only good things for you. Now, I don't know you, and I haven't even known of you for very long, but I can't sit idly by while you criticize yourself of falsities. 2011 has just begun, you have plenty of time for yourself and I hope you can see that. That's really all I have to say on that matter.

Just some quick clarification for the rules:

Is the winner of the polls going to be the winner of the contest as well, or are you three still going to choose the winner?

I noticed that I wasn't included as an entrant. Oh well. If I failed to meet the qualifications, it would have been nice if someone told me earlier.

The entry seems valid, so I'd suggest that neko-chan just hasn't seen it. Shouldn't be a problem with two polls and judging yet to start.



There will essentially be two winners, though we are yet to negotiate two forum titles per say. :p At the very least, the poll winner will get the first big mention in the announcement thread.

I did. Also, of course it is biased - that what it means to get judged. What matters is "what are those biases based on?"

Well, they are based on:

- Merit of artistic ability
- Technical skill
- Entertainment value of the written piece
- If it follows the guidelines and rules
- How well the writing incorporated the themes of the Holiday's and Fakku

What we do not hold favorable bias for:

- Writings that were written by popular users
- Or written by relatively low-profile users
- Because you are my or any other judge's friend
- Because you stole our waifu
- Because we stole your waifu
- If you submitted multiple entries
- If you helped out during the Contest
- If you sent us that mint condition figurine of Saber with pose-able stances and changeable outfits including: dark saber, lily saber, and the red outfit that Saber wears in the new Fate/Stay Night PSP exclusive game.
- or if you sent us the rest of her accessories.
- or if you sent us a gift basket. Look, just stop sending us stuff.

Does that answer your questions, or did you mean to ask something else?

Aw, Classy... If I need to explain those seemingly contradicting statements, you might not be as clever as I assumed you were. I'm going to go do other stuff, then when I come back I'll edit this post and "enlighten" you.

But really quickly, on the off chance you are indeed concerned about the judging being "biased", I assure you it isn't. If you can't take my word for it and the word of everyone else who participated, I can only say that I think you are a bit paranoid. Also, nothing else I can say will change your mind, but I'll try... later though. When I'm not so hungry. Check back in a while.

I just figured you would give everyone who actually wrote something a chance at least with the Popular Vote not the 3 judges vote.
