Hi, new to the forums and I love reading more than writing (though I do dabble a little). Hope you enjoy the above, I didn't have Word at hand so I apologise for the few inevitable bad spelling and grammar mistakes.
Ill certainly be reading the other entries! Good luck everyone (I don't much mind about the prizes judges, the contest and entries are why I'm here :>).

By user cameo does it have to be the exact person behind the username? Or can it be a namesake sharing the username but a fictional character?

No, actually. On 2010, we had only the Seasonal Writing Contest for the first time and the second Seasonal Writing Contest was the last contest you had participated in. And those were the only two contests from the Writing and Fanfiction forum. This is my fully my idea and I've decided to simply make it seasonal. Someone else could have tried a spring contest. However, that may be too close to the Seasonal Writing Contest in the opinion of some of the active writers of the Writing and Fanfiction forum.
I believe Nikon will be shipping it almost anywhere. He'll probably send you a PM, asking for your address and such.

If you choose to include Momoka, make sure it's an inventive inclusion, not just a banal, straight up cameo. And as my career discipline, I'd love to see some journalistic writing, perhaps a travel piece. The Fakku reference would be harder, but it'd sure as hell stand out from the crowd. That means using the name of another user on Fakku in your story.
Example: I write a story and use your username for a character. That's a cameo.
As for rule two: Your story MUST have something to do with summertime, romance, a vacation or all three if you choose.
While we want to get new users involved and active on the forums, I think the judges recognize the difficulty you might have including a forum user. The moderators and staff are easy choices, but you could also choose to include one of the Fakku mascots instead.
P.S. if you guys need me for anything, or if anyone would like somebody to read through their piece before they submit it, I'm always around.
Haha... well, those prizes were hard to gather, but I pulled it all off somehow, I suppose. Things didn't go as smoothly as I had planned, but I think this is good enough! Next year I'll make it as though the winners have their hands full to the point that they can't take anymore, wahahahaha!

I suppose using it anywhere would work, but this is a contest, bear in mind. Try to think of something creative when implementing it. :)

That works, of course. But if you're talking about the title of the story with Fakku in any way, it won't satisfy rule 3.

Well, it says you only have to closely relate it to a theme on the top...Does that mean it can have nothing to do with summer or Vacation as long as it's romance?
