Pages 13-15 are the most beautifully crafted pages I've ever read in hentai. The imagery, the dialogue, the storytelling, everything was so emotionally charged yet wonderfully done.
I was fighting back tears reading Hiro's inner monologue. Needless to say, I failed.
This might be one of the most beautiful series that I've ever read. Didn't expect that I'll cry at the end. Damn!! I wish I discovered this series a long time ago. The ending is really satisfying.
Wait... it can’t end here! What about the other people in this universe beside his brother? *sits in a corner of the room, hugging his knees and crying*
This series has quite possible one of the most well written and wonderful that I have had the pleasure of reading, the imagery and storytelling were superb and utterly heart warming. Personally I cannot wait for this series to be made into a Tankubon, obviously called August Lights. Suffice to say this has been added to my favourites alongside all the other chapters.
This end chapter left me with that melancholic feeling that tends to accompany the end of a good series. Doesn't happen often with hentai, so just goes to show how good this was.
Ooh, the finale? I'm certainly glad we got to see it!
And what a finale it was, too...It was really touching, and I loved every bit of this series.
Yeah, it's nice that he can be there to welcome her back every year, but if he can go with her and be with her forever...Well, that'd be a happy ending too. And considering what he said at the end, he finally moved on together with her, huh.
It's also nice to see that the android girl kept her promise to Hiro, going over to help by building the room to help him realise he's dead, giving him the courage to decide to move on together with his lover.
He would've gone over with her long long ago had he known, really why didn't anyone tell him? I don't think his lover realized either. Wholesome story tho.
In the 1st chapter, she kept asking him to leave with her. We assumed she simply meant leaving for the city, only to find out at the end that she was a ghost, coming back during Obon. The fact that she kept saying "come with me" meant she was trying to convince him to leave. Like it said though (in that chapter and the prequel), he was too stubborn, so he didn't realize he was dead already. He kept waiting year after year for her to come back each Obon, since he was bound to the building by his belief that he was still alive. He could have left there a long time ago.
