So this takes place in the same universe as August Lights. Wonder what happened to the world it to flood and also for ghost to become visible.

I assumed August Lights took place in a area that was devastated by a tsunami. Given the age gap there seemed to be, I kinda thought it might of been the artist telling a story about lovers that were separated by the tsunami back in 2011. Kinda morbid, but that was the theory I initially had.
