See? The MC has a decent side - sorta. He believes in "Caring is Sharing" so he's not all bad. lol...Y'know this guy wouldn't be a complete a-hole in my book if he just hypnotized and screwed egotistical and bullying chicks but he goes after every girl. And he has no problem getting them pregnant to really jack up their lives. That's the bottom feeder level at a mile underneath the ocean floor of the Pacific.
Huh, I guess that filthy, dirty, garbage fire scumbag has a nice side. He gave that couple a lasting relationship. But wait, they weren't a couple. He just forced a woman to become the plaything of a guy that kinda liked her. Here's hoping he doesn't get tired of her one day and sell her off.
Imagine if he was forced to relinquish his powers in one way or another and the carnage he created was exposed, esp. in terms of unwanted births. I say this bc this ill-formed couple might be zapped back into reality when that happens. That might be a clusterfudge right there.
@Sogeking79 Rationality (to refute h-logic) would suggest he got these powers somewhere so there should be somebody else out there who either has these same powers and have the ability to repel these powers and at the same time, not be the asshole he is. I wouldn't put those reporters in that class of individuals with that ability. However, I did comment before this chapter that this saga is h-logic run amuck, and the character was designed to be unimpeded to whatever he wants to do for googolplex years into the future.
We have established quite a lively dialogue, as we compare ideas and
refine our theories. However, on this page, I mistakenly took credit for
your "hypnotic contagion" theory (which you expressed in chapter 7),
so I have corrected the comment and given you proper credit.
After reading your comment below ("I would say he isn't
under until page 7, panel 5") and reviewing the chapter,
I noticed something interesting:
Tateyama seems to be directly influencing Kano (page 7,
panels 3-4), and some of the other students are quietly
staring at him in an eerie, speculative way. It's as if he's
the target of a collective hypnotic assault: "What are you waiting for? Sakiyama is yours. Go ahead
and fuck her."
This supports Sogeking79's theory (expressed in chapter 7)
that the Scumbag MC's victims seem to acquire some of his
hypnotic power---and that includes Sakiyama.
So, based on everything we know (up to this point),
it's safe to conclude that Kano & Sakiyama are now
a permanent couple.
Close, but remember the title. Common sense swap. The class has had their common sense changed so it is "obviously normal" to fuck your sex slave in the middle of class. Imagine going to school and someone had a jacket inside out. That is the look they are giving him. Tateyama came in later because they were so bad at sex. In my earlier scenario watching someone fumble through putting on clothes makes you want to just go over and do it for them. Hence the position and advice on how she can achieve some pleasure. Less hypnosis, more frustration.
The Scumbag MC projects a permanent hypnotic aura of unknown
radius. Anyone within that aura automatically becomes receptive to
his commands & suggestions. More importantly, they automatically
become passive observers. Anything the Scumbag MC says or does
(no matter how outrageous) is accepted as perfectly normal and
reasonable. As soon as Kano enters the classroom, he's under the
influence of the aura.
However, as we have seen in previous chapters, some people have
a certain degree of natural resistance to the hypnotic aura, which
explains Kano's initial confusion and uncertainty. He's only partially
hypnotized. He senses something is amiss, but can't quite grasp it.
He isn't fully hypnotized until page 4, panel 3, when the Scumbag
MC makes direct eye contact with him. ("There you go!")
EDIT:
Upon further review, it looks like Kano isn't fully hypnotized until Sakiyama makes direct eye contact with him, and forces him to
say "good morning" (as if everything is normal). This suggests
that the Scumbag MC's victims acquire some of his hypnotic
power, which (if true) makes things really complicated.
