I shed quite a few tears. One of the most beautiful scenes in any anime I've seen so far. Key and Jun Maeda have outdone themselves yet again.
I want the next episode now! It will be agonizing for the next week waiting for the final episode. I will definitely be reading the manga as soon as it comes out.
Angel Beats! is now on second favorite anime of all time.

I believe you are refering to the creator of the program. The creator apperantly turned himself into an NPC. I'm not entirely sure what you are refering to though...

It's sad that this anime had only 13 episodes coz it would have been even better if they made it a little longer coz there is so much character development and potential that the show somehow neglected plus i really wanted to know TK and Shiina's pasts; its too sad that its already going to end at ep 13

I've been watching the series and while I don't love it like everyone else here does, I recognize that it has potential if it could only have more character development. Anyone know if there are plans for a second season or is this all there is to the story?

They really wanted to do a 26 episode series, but unfortunately, they were slated for 13 and no more. The director said that the story was too complex and the characters were too intricate to stuff within 13 episodes, thus they're making manga, a 4-koma, and a light novel all involved in the original story. This is the best they can do with what they're given~ it really had a lot of potential, but the world runs on money you know.

I kinda stopped watching after we see how Otonashi eventually died, I lost interest in the series a bit but still followed what was happening through an anime blog.
Although I've recently caught up with the episode's I've missed and it really does improve, the episode with Otonashi and Yui perfectly balanced the humour and drama, something I felt some of the other episodes failed to do so.
Looking forward to seeing how things end, now what about a little busters adaptation? Well I can dream..
