Best Anime Soundtrack?

Too hard to pick, but .hack//SIGN will always be the first one that comes to my mind, so I figure I'll pick it.

Clannad has many nice songs...other animes or VN has great songs but Clannad has the most songs that are listed on my music list

I'm picking up those soundtracks that i've picked out awesome pieces of music from. Some which i still listen to for many years.
Sengoku Basara OST - Oda nobunaga's theme, Takede Shingen's theme,Sanada yukimura's theme
Fate/stay night OST - Archer's theme (aka when using UBW)
Kara no Kyoukai OST - (messed up name), found when Shiki vs Araya
Tsubasa chronicles OST - Song of storm and fire (one of my longest listened ost.)
Macross frontier OST - LOTS
To aru majutsu no index OST - majo kari no ou

Clannad has some amazing songs... I remember them all like it were yesterday.

Favorite anime OST?
Akagi. Taniuchi Hideki made some awesome BGMs. Unfortunately, the OST was missing one of my favorites from the anime. :(
True Tears and Higurashi were up there too.
Favorite OST from VNs?
Little Busters!, Clannad and Kanon. Fate/stay night also had some great stuff. Particularly Emiya.
Favorite music from a VN without an OST?
Umineko no Naku Koro ni. I guess it has a soundtrack, but that's missing too much stuff.

Gundam osts (both 00 season had impressive soundtracks, and are the pretty much only thing I never disliked in them. Unicorn too, since it's pretty much made of eargasm)
Rebuild of Evangelion soundtrack. The original series wasn't bad, particularly the signature "Angel Attack".
And finally Needless. Some of the best rock (j-rock, but really, not only) you will *ever* hear in any anime. Yes it's that awesome.
