Best Anime Soundtrack?

But whatever. And on that note, I highly recommend the Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles OST since it's done by Yuki Kajiura and features "A Song of Storm and Fire", which I believe to be one of her best OST songs ever, not including her work with other artists known as "Fiction(artist name)". My-Hime/My-Otome/Erementar Gerad OSTs come close.

I don't really know any soundtracks, I've only listened to a bunch of songs in either the OP/ED or the IN/BGM of the anime. The best I can do is post a specific song of an anime and just go from there.

I know this is off topic since it's not related to anime, but have you guys heard slumdog millionaire's soundtrack?? It's freakin' INSANE! I could not believe how cool it was.

and i think I saw someone mention something about a tsukihime anime. it doesnt exist. Can't believe they never did though, the game was pretty good.

Tsukihime, Fate/Stay Night, and Kara no Kyoukai.

I especially like those soundtracks with mysterious mood from Kara no Kyoukai.
(I want to play some of those songs on piano if I have the sheet music)

Hmm...lots of good Anime's have really good OST's.
Code Geass had some really good OST and BGM's.
Haruhi's Character songs are among my favorites.
Evangelion has some of the greatest OST's.

thats about all I can think of.

Clannad and Kanon, here. Music should invoke deep memories of the anime afterward, and they certainly do for these two. God, Mai's theme... great.
