Best Anime Soundtrack?

Personally, I only listen to a few songs from that. I don't know if that would count as a "soundtrack". :P

It's pretty much all about them songs (over 10 of them awesome things without even counting alternative versions) so I don't see why it shouldn't count.

The 'soundtrack' is like 200 times older than the anime but it's fuken awesome nonetheless.

How'd I ever forget this soundtrack. >_> Great stuff, especially the songs by Suimetsu and the Suemitsu & The Suemith.

I enjoy Gurren Lagann Soundtrack. Another good one: Air Gear.

Gurren Lagann,Bleach,and Black Lagoon .Especially the ending song of Episode 15 Black Lagoon ( I cried inside :cry: )

Forgot about R.O.D. the TV, pretty awesome OST's there.

As much as I hated the anime of Tsubasa Chronicle, the OST is certainly awesome; then again, anything that Yuki Kajiura does is pretty much enjoyable, actually...

The Op and Ed to Le Chevalier D'Eon are both Sweet!

Best anime soundtrack? Let's see....I have too many that I like. Basically any that has a nice beat/ring/sound/lyrics to it ranging from Ghost in the Shell to Last Exile to a whole lot others.

Beck definitely has the best.

Joe Hisaishi (Miyazaki films: Spirited Away, Laputa, Totoro)
Kenji Kawai (Gundam 00, Gunparade March, Eden of the East)
Yoko Kanno (Escaflowne, Macross series, Cowboy Bebop)

These guys are the stuff when it comes to anime OSTs. Check them out by googling or wikiing their works. I guarantee that their works are famous in the anime community, and they have a lot of works in their names. (Even I was surprised at the sheer amount of anime that they composed OSTs for.)

Tatsuya Ishii - River, Gundam Seed
Yoko Hikasa - Don't say "Lazy", K-On!
Kokia - Karma, Phantom Requiem for the Phantom
Kenji Ootsuki - Hitotoshite Jiku ga Bureteiru, SZS
Nana Mizuki - Dancing in the Velvet Moon, R+V

Almost all Anime are have great Soundtrack...

My opinion would be that any anime soundtrack gracing Yuki Kajiura is a great soundtrack. But of her works, .hack//SIGN's soundtrack was the best.

Clannad, and Clannad After Story all the way :D

for me is gundam(vestige),haruhi suzumiya all accept lost my music,white album(mizuki nana i forgot the title),inuyasha(change the world n my will)black jack(1st op),black cat(op),yu yu hakusho(4th ed),naruto,bleach,fullmetal alchemist(again-yui) n many more

When I think of soundtrack, I think of OST, Original SoundTrack. I don't include OPs or EDs or Insert themes as part of the soundtrack because then it would be a "which anime has the best OP/ED" kind of topic.

Honestly I like FSN's OST and I have been jamming to Don't Say Lazy from K-on
