Why do they fight?
If this new project is taking place in the year 2017 then that is going to be during the first season of Code Geass which would mean this story takes place during the one year gap of Season 1&2. Again this is only my theory on the teaser.

Then when I saw the recent preview pic (the one I posted above) I was then convinced that Renya was gonna be a Suzaku clone.

I hope they never release a new season of geass. All the spinoff manga sucks. This one seems like a nice installment into the pre-existing pile of shit that is Geass manga.

I don't think he was ever officially announced as Lelouch, and was just implied as strikingly similar character.
I hope both the new manga and the anime come out faster.

Lelouch is dead. LIVE WITH IT. Season one was cool. Season two was pushing it... and now an OVA/Movie or new season? Don't kill what you had left... Ah well...

Considering the "feudal age" and "throwing stars" with a guy with a mech arm, I don't think they'll put as much thought and effort into this as they did with the original. I really hope I'm wrong, but I'm predicting this'll just be one of those things where they just fill it up with battle scenes to hook viewers....and frankly, that's only a minor part of the reason I saw Code Geass.
