Considering the "feudal age" and "throwing stars" with a guy with a mech arm, I don't think they'll put as much thought and effort into this as they did with the original. I really hope I'm wrong, but I'm predicting this'll just be one of those things where they just fill it up with battle scenes to hook viewers....and frankly, that's only a minor part of the reason I saw Code Geass.I remember hearing that it would be set in a "New Edo" era. I think the time period is still uncertain.

for an immortal to die it needs to transfer it's code and the near person that can do that and the only one can do that was lelouch only.

watch when C.C got her immortality she did die killed by that sister (that i confirm). So whe that sister died C.C got the immortality it's the same for lelouch to.

I hope there is a new season simply because I just want to get there same feeling of awesomeness and suspense I felt in R1 and R2. I would like not to have Leluch dead but if hes not in the new season It's okay.

Basically it will be a side story to the Code Geass plot.
Different characters, same setting, I think the timeline is the same or maybe before the rebellion.
The side story is set in the European warfront, where a Knightmare unit made of boys and girls from Zone Eleven is sent into a military operation with a 5% chance of survival. They must rescue an allied unit left behind on the European warfront.

This is weird. The main character looks like Suzaku, theirs a guy that "resembles" Lelouch, and c2 is back? This is way to coincidental. Plus why are they adding more to Code Geass? It ended good, plus how can it continue without Lelouch himself? I just hope its not to bad.

In Code Geass Gaiden: Boukoku no Akito, It's about a bunch of Boys and Girls fighting in the European Front. And in another place Lelouch Just started his "Rebellion" by Killing Clovis. both stories starts at 2017.
In Code Geass: Shikkoku no Renya, it covers a different Era, way in past where Knightmare wasn't invented and Japan was still traditional Japan. Lelouch is not born yet.
So, both new stories doesn't involve Lelouch directly.

Yeah there's a new seasons being released and I'm not sure about it :/
I usually don't like new characters appearing in an already existant series (I.e 'skins' on E4, if you know it).
Getting past that, I'm sure they can make a good series (Why the hell not?)
