Question: Has Type-Moon ever gonna make an anime as to whatever happend to Shirou after his grail war? Fate/Zero is what happened before. im just wondering if there'll be one. it wasn't really answered clearly in the unlimited bladeworks, we just know that he got broken and thus wanting to get back in time
No, they haven't made any kind of "epilogue" for Shirou. the closest thing you can get is "EMIYA's" history.
bummer. wish they do that next. im really interested as to what happened to him. oddly enough the Fate series only have 2 reality marble weilders; zero has the coolest one though - kiritsugu's marble. no spam weapons/people, just him and his time XD
*cough*Rider*cough*
yeah... though rider's marble is cool, i can't say i wasn't expecting people/weapons for that matter. looks like all marbles are comparable to gilgamesh's gate of babylon with the spammy weapons. on another note, it's a very nice thing to have. a never ending supply of whatever you desire can be inside and only you can access it(unlimited saber works ftw)
Well, a reality marble really doesn't work like the GoB, as they rewrite reality itself (in a set field) with their own reality. As in, what the caster perceives how reality
should be (with relation to himself). Shirou's UBW was due to his element/origin sword + distortion; Alexander carried his army with him always, and Robin Hood had the same.
And let's not get into ORT and Crimson Moon.
they're kind of both the same when it comes to "storage" at least from the way i see it. gilgamesh is delusional that every treasure is his, right? so doesn't that count as the caster perceiving as his reality?
GoB is not a reality marble, but rather a treasure vault. A Reality Marble is not a storage, but a creation of world. Gilgamesh did not create GoB each time he activates it, he connects to it.
And no, Gilgamesh is not delusional. All the treasure of the world really comes from his vault, and that becomes a kind of principle.
"The treasury contains all of the treasures of the world that he collected during his life, from the finest wine and golden drinking cups, a meat that multiplies in proportion to how much is eaten, and divine mysteries from nearly every legend. Nearly anything can be found within, and the amount of wealth within exceeds even his own knowledge"
After his death, the contents were spread all over the world after being passed on or stolen, and the treasure, valued because they were splendid swords, eventually became Noble Phantasms.
What he said.
Gilgamesh has every justifiable reason to believe that every treasure is his,
because they are, or at the very least he owns the blueprints to them. That was because of how old his legend is, in that the entire world consisted off just his kingdom.
UBW merely stores the blueprints to each and every individual weapon Shirou has identified, along with other nonweapons. And even then, a reality marble is caused by
an individual's alien perspective over reality. As in, having one's soul projected onto the world reality.
And did you even note the other different RMs of other characters?
