Hirano Aya news~! Retirement

Random fact: She apparently made a guest appearance as the Cake in the "Next Episode" scene in Nichijou ep.9 which just aired today.

Isn't she the seiyuu of Lucy Heartfilia from Fairy Tail as well? Well, they could change it of course(shounen animes like this tend to be quite long so if she is retiring, changing the character's seiyuu is expected), but not seeing it posted on the list Kaimax posted is strange.

I only posted her "NEW" recurring roles in 2011. Fairy Tail is a long-running anime from 2009, so it's not new, or even effected by the voice acting prohibition.

I see, I thought that those were the ones she was doing ONLY in this year, taking into account those that she was still doing since previous years like FT as well.

Wow I'm really going to miss her I really liked her Lucky star role.

Well, turns out my net was slow and Sankaku loaded super slowly, and I was quite surprised by the statement, "Well that's okay. If I see her on a porno I'll buy it.".

Yes, it won't be a surprise if that came true. Like I said earlier, her whole "idol life" is like Britney Spears, a "rare talent that really has good potential to be one of the best, only to be ruined by bad decisions."

God, if she just sticked to voice acting and singing without the whole variety show, and her twitter...gah

All of her Haruhi colleagues are still steady on their voice acting jobs, she's the only one dwindling with it.

Hmm.... I wonder why she is dwindling like that though... I so wish I could get to know better about the seiyuus, anime industries, all the info that and everything but....

In all honesty, I don't really care for her Haruhi voice because I don't even remember it, and that whole Twitter affair was an unfunny circus on roller-skates without rollers.

I don't really remember her performance as Haruhi, but I know about Lucy from Fairy Tail.

It's a shame she's retiring, but I probably would never have noticed if it weren't for this thread. I can't say I have any respect or disrespect for her either since I never kept up with her career path, and this Twitter thing people are mentioning is all a mystery to me.

Never really like her to begin with, and I heard a lot of unpleasant news about her in this recent years. So, yeah .. nothing of value was lost.
